(notarized)" I believe this is an error that needs to be corrected, first the form is not I-134 but I-864, also, Packet 3 instructions and other VJ's indicate this form is not notarized. In general the I-134 is used for K-1 visas, and it has to be notarized. Some embassies may opt to use the I-864. But it does not have to be sent with the I-129F packet. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	February Filers CSC, NSC, TSC	Hi Everyone! My SO just text messaged me, he received Packet 3 in the mail today! I'm curious to see what what it says....but I have to wait until we speak this evening to find out. We have virtually all the documents ready, I will be mailing my stuff to him early next week. He needs to do the medical and he's mailed off for the 2nd of his police clearances last week. He was told it would take about two weeks, so he should receive it next week, I hope! *fingers crossed* I do have a question, if anyone knows. Can the Packet 3 checklist be mailed back to the consulate at this stage, or does one have to wait for the medical to be done before signing and mailing the checklist back? (Or is this one of those consulate specific procedures?) I'm also hoping he can get an interview date by the end of June or early July. (Hungary doesn't have too much of a wait for interviews either.) Good luck to everyone! Hang in there Feb filers! The 'light at the end of the tunnel' is becoming more and more visible. -P In reguler mail ?. Does Packet 3 include the I134 and other documents, or is it a separate thing altogether? It has I-134, DS-156, DS-156K, DS-230, 4 forms for medical. Each of them in pdf file. I filed in March, but I have a question for those who have received packet 3 or 4. Do they send the packets out through email or do they send paper copies through regular mail? The reason I ask is that my fiancées ex still has access to her mailbox and it would not be good if he intercepted the package from the embassy. By the way she is in Minsk, Belarus and the embassy is in Warsaw. Thanks, Jim Usualy its mailed out. I'm actually kinda looking forward to calling after 30 days and having the "actually I have been approved 30 days ago and need to paper copy" convo with their customer service. Just tell me it takes 6 months for approval, I dare them! I need to get a life Why can't they call? Did I miss something here? Hehe. To call the NVC from outside of the U.S is not free, unlike to call the USCIS by using 800 number . Plus the operator would ask to speak with the petitioner. -Gemvita Thanks. Hey that reminds me, Barney has got this really cool calling card. He pays like 30 Quid a month...roughly 60 bucks, and it gives us unlimited talking. The only hangup (no punt intended) is that you can only talk for an hour, and then it disconnects you, but you just have to redial the number. I don't know if it would work for Indonesia, maybe it's just a UK thing, but I could find out if your interested??? Aww, how nice and thoughtful of you Thank youuuu. I would like to know what do you mean by touched? I take it thats the term after the USCIS review the case filed? CSC is very slow I wondered how long does it take to recive the NOA2. My dear friends whom I have come to know here, I want this to be a testimony! My Lord and Savior has bestowed on me this blessing. He has done this work, and I am humbled . I was transfered to someone who told me our case was decided on May 11th. She would not say denied or approved. She said a hard copy will arrive early June or mid June. She did make a slight slip and said when my ' approval arrived through the mail...' ,so I dunno what to think here. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	February Filers CSC, NSC, TSC	Wait a minute, it says on the guide is should send the NOA2 to my fiancee to take to the interview?? That's a problem if they never send it. But why should they need the NOA2, they already have the paperwork and everything. I think I have everything I need, my employer and bank statements...I'll fill out the affadavits of support, add some updated evidence of ongoing relationship and new letter of intent to marry, plus all the old stuff from the original application and mail it to her, that should be all she needs, right? I guess I can harrass uscis about the noa2 if necessary... The embassy wont need the NOA2, they wont even see a petition unless its approved. So showing them a copy of the NOA2 is not necessary. You can include a copy of it, if it makes you feel better, but don't let it slow you down. But when you do get it, you need to keep it, a copy of it is required in filing for AOS. From form I-485: Attach a copy of the fiancé(e) petition approval notice, a copy of your marriage certificate and your Form 1-94. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	February Filers CSC, NSC, TSC	Hey, I called with the RFE trick (it is frightening when you hit the RFE keys and it says "you need to send the information specified"; presumably it says this to anyone that hits those keys whether their case got an RFE or not. Anyway, the guy told me that my case was marked to be approved on the 4th! But, he said it was not send to the NVC yet, and the NOA2 has not been generated or sent yet. Why would there be a 2 week delay in that? It sounds like this is the same story that everyone else is going - what have people's experiences been between being told they were approved, and actually being sent to the NVC and receiving the NOA2? But overall, good news!! Marked to be approved on the 4th? It's now the 18th, thats 14 days. Did they run out of paper? Ink maybe? Officers stuck in the bathroom due to constipation problems? I praise you for your positive attitude, but I would be pissed. USCIS has been markedly more innefficient than their usual totally innefficient way. Well, I am all riled up once more about those turds. I hope you get your approval soon, and kudos once again for being positive. CSC had to deal with all the H1B applications that came in. There were over 100,000 applications for 60,000 visas. Of course CSC doesnt get all of them, but being that a large number of tech companies are located on the west coast, they get quite a few of them. Since we had the same touches, I called them, too...But they said it's still pending...I'm getting frustrated myself and just hope that we were approved, too, relying on your information, lol What part did you call? I called to change my address and got the standard 6 month responce and then I called for and "RFE" and was told I had been approved 2 weeks earlier. WooHoo, approved May 7th!!!!! I took msu17's advice and called today and the lady told me that I would receive my notice in the mail shortly. Jeez, they're email department needs to get to work. Oh well, YAYYYYYY!!!! Some people were touched last week but didnt see anything happen with thier case. Calling the USCIS number and following the prompts for questions about an RFE will connect you to the CSC. However, I was so nervous to speak with the person, that when he asked what my name was, I answered, " I'm calling from Indonesia..". He did it on the 2nd try and got a different guy to tell him about the approval. The operator who handles RFE section might hold a better info.
