Now I am getting worried because the AVR confirmed that they have received the docs for DS 230 and civil documents dated July 1, then the review will take about 6-8 weeks... So I was so upset because that the said documents were sent to the NVC dated June 25, 2010... Based on your timeline it took only a week from the date they acknowledge your DS-230 package to complete your case... My suggestion would be to check the embassy website in the country of your significant other. Medical examinations conducted in connection with immigrant visa applications have a maximum validity of six months and must be valid when you enter the U.S. The consular officer shall limit the visa’s validity to a period of validity of the medical examination. If the alien cannot arrive in the United States within six months of the date of the medical examination, the alien must repeat the examination. Manila's website says this: What is the validity of the medical examination? Medical examinations are generally valid for 6 months. Since you haven't filled out your profile (that's a not so subtle hint to fill out your profile and timeline) with any information that would allow us to give a direct answer, you'll have to do the work on your own. So check the US Embassy website, click for information on Immigration Visas and then look for a section on medical requirements. In there you'll find the information you seek. Hope this helps! She told me that they have received a mail July 1st 2010 and they don't know what kind of mail it was. I was too much upset cause the operator I talked last week they have received the DS-230 and civil documents and it is on the process of review.... my husband sent the said the Documents dated June 25 2010.... He sent it dated June 25, 2010.. So we're getting worried cause until now we don't have update about it if we have REF..
