IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Is it worth hiring an attorney for a CR1?	We're on a K1,but as for me and my fiancee experienced hiring an attorney,its totally a #######!1st,She said we should file K2 for our daughter so we did together with the K1 application,but just this jan.i found out about VJ by researching so many questions i have and learn that our daughter is eligible to apply for a US Passport and get CRBA.2nd,We passed every document to her and tell us she double or triple check everything before passing it to USCIS..My fiance received NOA2 dec. 17,that means our paper will be in NVC soon but... jan 8 another letter stating that NVC sent back our petition to USCIS for Review.Isn't that too depressing?We waited for 3 months another delay only to know its just an idiot mistake..that if that attorney that we hired double check it will be a lot faster..For me,NO for an attorney...But your the only one who will decide for that,if you think you can find a good one and you have a lot of $$$$,why not! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	K2 visa?	What if the father of my daughter is my fiance,who is a USC. We had her even before we file for a K1 visa petition,we also get a K2 for her so she will be included,,But some are saying K2 is not needed anymore,we might as well let the Consulate in Manila about it so if they will approved no need for K2 visa and she is automatically a US citizen too coz her father is a US citizen...I thought that is just for married filipina and US citizen one..My fiance even took a paternity leave when i gave birth and he is the one who even register the birth of our daughter and get an affidavit that Kiss(our daughter)can carry her name even we are not yet married... Its been almost 2 months since my fiance from San Francisco CA received our NOA2 hard copy(dated dec.17)we then expect that the next is NVC but unfortunately last jan 6 2010 we received another disturbing letter saying that our case is being reviewed sad.gif Can my fiance call USCIS what seems to be the problem,My fiance is just calm and said i don't need to worry,but Its making me sick thing over and over again what seems to be wrong with our case...What you think guys is the best thing to do...??? Philippines	What is happening???	I have visited the AP thread and it makes me more stressed out and so sad if ever we really are in that thing... Now i wanna think there is a miracle,i will ask my fiance to call US embassy again tomorrow to asked if they have our papers and sked an interview,who knows its already there like what it states in the letter we received from USCIS...just trying to calm my self down,i feel like I am gonna have an heart attack with all the strange things and the delay that happened in our petition process :crying:If they say NO,then no choice wait and wait until we die :rofl:just kidding Can anybody tell me if they received a letter like this from USCIS together with their NOA2??? Philippines	What is happening???	When your fiancé talked to the NVC on April 12, how could the NVC give your fiancé an MNL# if the NVC did not have your packet yet? It's a mystery to me. Your fiancée should call the NVC again and ask them this very question. Our case once landed in NVC coz we had an NOA2 dec.17,2009,but NVC sent it back to USCIS for review,then we had an RFE.What a strange case we have..And now again they give us case no.last april 12 and now telling us they don't have our packet yet?Can it be any more strange than that??? Philippines	To USC who filled for K1...	I actually scheduled my wife's interview using that phone number. That phone number is a direct line to the immigrant section of the USEM where they do the interviews. On the other hand, the PIN phone number is only a call center where they go by a script. At the call center, the standard script answer to any question is: "call back in two weeks." weeehhh i tried that no. when you are in PINAS its 02-301-2000 operator will answer you, then dial again 7 and then operator will again answer and dial local 5184# or 5185#..I found this ;somewhere in one post,it only cost me 30Php..WOW ,But still their answer is our papers are still in the NVC...hahaha!!!The filipina i talked to in this line is so polite and soft spoken... Philippines	To USC who filled for K1...	I think they might be misleading you.. The I-134 does not need to be notarized.. You just need your hubby's financial documents, tax transcripts and some backup material just in case.. Bank statements, paycheck stubs, etc. THANKS for this one,i will let my fiance read this so he know..That will save us $10.. can i just asked if the $18 3 call in US embassy means every call is $18??so it means 18$ per call??or the 3 call is $18?No matter how long you talked to them each call?? Philippines	vaccination issue	I have another question. St. Lukes said they forwarded everything to the embassy but she wasn't given the results....does that mean she passed her medical? ALSO they took her passport and forwarded that to the embassy too...does she need the passport to enter the embassy? or will they give it to her during her interview? In my case, I got married and my age was below 21, When we apply for the Marriage License, they asked my Dad to be present, and they photocopied his ID that serves as his consent for me getting married. no sweat. I mean DOCUMENTS on my reply to "jared and may" i forhot the 'S' My fiance already sent documens twice to FEDEX..he tried to gather and complete all the documents i will need for our daughter's CRBA and for our K1,but unfortunately i don't know why he separated the envelope where he put the notarized documents for CRBA and K1,so he was only able to send me his personal docs the first time then the following day the Notarized docs the he filled up... $89USD for the ff.(his personal documents) 1. passport(old and new) 2.two driver’s licensed (old and new) 3.Original BC 4.Original Cert of Citizenship 5.high school diploma 6.2 employment record(2008 and 2010) 7.tax return and w2 stub(2004-2008) 8.hospital bills(when I gave birth coz he used them in his work6 pages) 9.original BC of our baby(I don’t know why he still send it,I told him I have ,2 pages) 10.paternity leave documents(3 pages) Mind you he is so paranoid,keep asking me are you sure you need the original??what if my documents will get lost..We had so many arguments before he sent me all this..hahaha... $53USD for the ff. Notarized DS-2029,DS-3053 Notarized DS- 5507,Affidavit of Parentage, Physical Presence and Support. I would highly suggest you take the straight flight going to the states mainly because you are flying with your 1 year old baby. Make sure to request for a seat near the galley and lavatory. I hope your flight will be smooth and safe. Just push the cabin attendant call if you need any assistance. I'm sure your flight would be fine. Cheers! Philippines	Who flew with PAL???	i travelled alone with my baby twice, one when she was 7 mos old via PAL and recently when she's 2 via EVA...PAL attendants were so nice and helpful since it was just me and my baby, i find PAL more friendly and helpful compare to eva, like when i asked for a water they even washed my baby's bottle..as for advice just bring atleast 10-12 diapers with you, 2 pair of clothes,milk (if you have a milk dispenser that will be great),cookies or baby food and his/her favorite blanky or toy..relax and don't stress out,happy trip This gives me some kind a push..Maraming Salamat!!Yah i will try to relax.. Since my Fiance have a membership in Mabuhay miles,i know for sure its where he will get our tickets.The original plan was for him to pick us up once ready to go,unfortunately after a long discussion about it,we decided that I will just fly alone with our baby..Just thinking of this makes me nervous,excited and stress!!!
