Waivers (I-601 and I-212) and Administrative Processes (221g)	Updated info about AP	Hi every1 so i went in for my interview yesterday . Got an AP. saw like almost 7 other interviews and actually listened to them very carefully while i was waiting. They all were placed on AP 4 ver males and 3 ver females. Now herez the interesting part idk it means anything or not but i noticed it. Everytime they were handing over the 221g sheet they ver telling the candidates abt how long it will take. Some were told few weeks to months 1 guy was told 2-3 months or more 2nd Guy was told 6 months or more but all of them were given the same green sheet. If they deny you they must have a legitimate reason. If they think your relationship is fraudulent they have to have evidence and so on. USCIS Service Centers	USCIS background checks	Hello All! Our I-130 petition has been approved 4 months ago and the approval letter stated that it would take NVC 90 days to receive the papers. However 4 months later once NVC still has not recieved the papers I contacted my state senator and I have been told that the USCIS never forwarded the documents to NVC instead they have held it up for further background checks. Vietnam	HCMC Interview - 02/02/2010	I want to thank everyone who contributes to this forum. The only reason we were successful was because of the information we discovered here. Van and I have a K1 visa .. she was only asked a few questions (interview was over in 5 minutes): 1) What do you teach?English 2) Where and how did you meet? We met online in September 2008 3) Which website?Vietnam Cupid 4) When did you meet in person? January 2009 during Tet holiday 5) When did Nick propose to you? May 30th 2009 Congratulations. (hands pink slip) Our potential red flags were I am divorced but its been almost 10 years so probably not so bad, Van has a family sponsorship and she also has a large number of relatives in the US. I addressed all of these red flags in the original petition including a lengthy timeline of our relationship (with pictures embedded) and a list of her relatives in the US; name, address, and when/how they met me. Vietnam	My Wife's Interview	She arrived at 7 am. There was 120 people ahead of her and about 100 behind. She had about 15 lbs worth of evidences. She went and there was a guide explaining the procedures. She called before a lot of people to room 4. She told me that room 4 was special because everyone was amazed that she was called to that room. She was interviewed by a "tall man". It was rather simple interview. She said it took about 5 mins. There was a pink sheet on the table already. They only looked at a few pictures and call logs. She showed them call logs from V24/7 (savingcall.com) and Skype. "Where does your husband live?" "Where does your husband's parents live?" "What is his job?" "When and how did you guys met?" "When is the wedding?" "How many people from America attended your wedding?" Late last night my fiancée called to tell me that she received a phone call from the Consulate informing her that our K1 Visa petition which has been in AP since our interview on March 4th of this year has been approved…I could not sleep the entire night and before going to work I checked my email and there was a message from the Consulate saying that our visa has been approved…we still cannot believe it…but we are optimist that this long journey is coming to a happy ending. It has taken us almost three years – an interview, the denial, getting our petition re-affirmed, another interview and then the AP status…along the way many heartbreaks and but never giving up…Praise God from whom all blessing come!!!
