I got call from Amex on dec 5 to collect passport and documents. On Jan 7, I went and got the passport with visa stamped. I am thankful to God almighty and I pray all of other people who are stuck in ap. Congratulation its a very good news. Administrative Processing: Means once you have interviewed it is in security checks for any of these situations: you have had a name hit in one of the many data bases, background checks for fraud, or has missing and incomplete information that must be submitted and the rechecked. Processing is more in depth and than the review process and there is no time limit for this processing to complete. So I guess the rapid change means actively working on your case which will hopefully result in visa issuance! humm great News, plz pray for us too mine are changing rapidly too, hoping be with my wife very soon. I didn't check my case online for a couple of days however when I did today it said "Issued" so basically my Interview was on Sep 14th 2012 got 221g RFE for rukhsati pics and new qualified joint sponsor, sent all requested docs on October 18th 2012 and got approved on Dec 31st 2012 got my passport on Jan 1st 2013! So an AP of 2 months and 13 days being a male Pakistani applicant. I sincerely wish all the memebers here on VJ the best of luck and specially EAbbas,Mohsin,Soccer,Sam,NazishnWaqar and the list won't end!! May you all have a blessed 2013 and Allah help you in your struggle! Thank you.... Waivers (I-601 and I-212) and Administrative Processes (221g)	New Islamabad AP Tracker	If you provide a detailed transcript of what interview questions were asked and how you responded to them most of the members here can give you an idea of what happend and if the Interviewing Agent found any red flags sometimes they will not tell at time of interview to avoid confrontation. you shoudl be getting some information at home sometimes asking for additional information, If not then perhaps you are like many others who are just in AP many people get visa about a 3 months after interview if everthying check up. I read some interesting stuff regarding AP in articles about DHS and DOS. There are some reports as well. I will post them later. You shouldnt call NVC. Call DOS to check the status of your case. 202-663-1225 is the number. I also came to know that there will be many changes in the visa process very soon. The NVC officer told me that we dont have your case here, its in your local embassy (US Embassy Islamabad). Ive been sick and our daughter is still having issues with a brain tumor. Please pray that our end to this AP is coming soon. More than anything I just want my husband in our home so we can live our lives and take care of our daughter and have more children. It's depressing so much especially right now. After 2 years and 5 months of wait finally got an interview appointment. Reached embassy at 6am, got the shuttle at about 7am, reached to the consular office at 7:20ish. Security done, finger prints done, went to the interview hall at 7:45. Finally got first call to submit my paper work at 10.30, guy asked me to submit medicals, Passport, asked my contact details, gave me purple token. Right after an hour got the final call. Questions was: 1) Marriage certificate in Native ( Urdu ) language. ( YES) 2) Do you have Nadra Marriage Certificate. ( I said no NVC havn't told me to bring that with me. 3) What have u studied in UK? ( I was in UK for 8 years) 4) Where did u worked in UK? ( Work History) 5) Consolur said every thing is fine, but the address of your wife and your brother in law ( Co -sponsor) is not same. (I was like how is that possible, i showed them new I 864 & I 864A they matched the address again and they said perfect. 6) When was the marriage held. ( Pakistan ) 7) When you guys met? ( Date we meet) XXXX HE PRINT THE GREEN 221G Sheet. But still asking me questions. 8) Have you complete all ceremony's like RUKHSATI? ( I said this has been done ages ago, i have a baby) 9) He then asked when was baby born? ( US ) 10) Do you have Birth Certificate? ( I showed them US Birth Cert & US PP Copy) 11) Asked about International traveling ( I said UK only). At the end, Every documents are in order and perfect, we don't need any thing from you but your case is in AP. It will take may be 2 months or 6 months. We will contact you soon. ====================================================================== 07 Dec 2012 ALHAMDULILLAH i have got my passport today with VISA. AP period is 18 days. I have read this AP tracker last week (whole 120 pages), and then i realize that its better to forget about visa bcz few of you are waiting for passport for ages specially (Ebbas, Soccor, Arif and many more) i am not expecting call from AMEX but with the blessings of my family and friends i have got it today. My wife and baby were suppose to fly on 23 nov but they cancelled till january 2013 they want me to go with them to be honest ( cant live with my 6 months old baby ). I am thankful to ALLAH and always pray to all of you. Just wanted to say on this occasion ' If you cant get something on time that means that particular decision/thing is not suitable for you for that time. ALLAH GRANT best options for all of us on perfect time. No body know's when but believe me that is best for you. She didn't say "Approved" but it certainly seemed that way... interview was very brief and positive (all smiles, CO was satisfied with my answers), and when I asked her if she needed anything more from me, she said, "No, no, you've already sent us everything." The way she said that, plus the way she was flipping through our file and the pictures we'd sent with our original I-130 application, indicated it was okay. She kept my passport too and returned my original documents. So yes, I'm waiting for my visa-fied passport! God-Willing. Good, hopefully you will get your passport soon. Waivers (I-601 and I-212) and Administrative Processes (221g)	regarding pending AP	hello all dear friends iam in AP in islamabad from last 2 months.iam the beneficary(male) and my wife is the petitioner USC.she was with me during the interview and she is still here with me.she is calling twice in a week to DOS and islamabad embassy,but still my case is AP.she emailed to isl embassy aswel and they replied very next day that,we dont need any thing from you,as your case is in PENDING AP.now i have 3 questions? 1)when we had interview we got blue refusal sheet 221(g),that states that we need to do additional administrative process,but now embassy is saying pending AP.any one know the difference between these two? 2)how do they inform us that our AP is over?by e-mail or phone call. 3)is it ok to call or contact to ISL embassy or DOS as much as we can? if any one have idea please share with me...i will appreciate that. thanks to all in advance... Mine AP got clear in 5 month. Had interview in April and got passport in September. American Express will call you form pp collection. He voluntarily left the US due to his moms health and came back to his home country...does he require one of these waivers??? and im not sure i quite understsand this 221(g)... is this from the embassy or something we give to the embassy?
