K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	I-129F	Hi, I have a general question about I-129F. Whenever an I-129F (fiance/spouse) is approved it has a validation date on it which tells you that the petition is valid from this month to this month. K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	K3 Visa Approved	Hi Everyone, Recently I got approved for K3 visa and I m not sure what to do with my I-130. I will be leaving for the United States very soon. My I-130 is still pending at the NVC and I haven't put it on hold. My wife spoke to her lawyer, and he suggested not to do anything with the NVC and it doesn't matter if my wife does anything about the I-130 or not because I'll be entering with K3 status. Our K3 and I-130 got approved at the same time, and my wife received a letter from the NVC earlier this year saying that if she didn't do anything about the I-130, it will be canceled. And you will have to send in two pictures, along with your marriage certificate (original), beneficiaries original birth certificate, etc. Police clearance usually takes 2-3 weeks and fro that just contact your local police station. The y will give you a form you fill out, along with your CNICand passport copy. You will get all this signed and stamped by a grade 21 officer at the government. Once that is done, submit it to the police station and they will come to your house once to vefiry if you are living at the address. And voila you will have it. Although USCIS will tell you to file an application for an action on an approved case, you really don't have to pay a dime more than you already did. What happened with us, was it was stuck at USCIS for further investigations while they already mailed us a letter saying that the case has left for NVC. National Visa Center (Dept of State)	Assembly guidelines	No cool gadgets are necessary, they will simply add on to the weight of shipping the documents. If they are different sizes, its ok. My marriage certificate was quite larger then the regular paper, so i aligned it from the top and simply folded it at the bottom so it look neat and like the same size. Just like they say for postal services, within 7-10 business days, where as its usually 2-3 or 4 if a sunday falls between, just like that your review should be done within 2 weeks maximum! I feel this is like one of those situations where you keep looking at the clock and it seems like every minute is an hour long. And like morning when you don't even have a second to spare and look at the time, the time flies like light! So dont' stress over it. its gonna happen before you know it! National Visa Center (Dept of State)	When? when? when?	Ok, so on June 1st NVC scheduled our interview at the US embassy for July 16th, however they have still not sent the case down here yet!! I know I know I need to be patient but my reason for frustration is this: After a whole year once USCIS approved our petition and sent in the NOA2 stating its approved and sent to NVC, they never sent it. NVC asked me to wait for 90 days maximum before I start panicking. so like 3 months later when i got my sentor involved, senators office found out that they never sent it. it was probably drowned under a million files on someones desk till the query started and then it was sent out in the 4th month. they never really gave a proper reason as to why they never mailed the petition even though they mailed a letter stating that the petition has been sent. Senators office did not have a reason either! so with all this time wasted, i can't afford to have someone goof up again. I have been calling them day and night and keep getting the same response that the case will be sent out soon but nobody knows when . any ideas how soon before the interview the case gets mailed out for those who have already experienced this? Definately if they are slow, the interview could be scheduled for hypothetically December, but can't take so long to schedule an interview.
