Hababi and I frequently visited those outdoor places that serve roasted lemon chickens, salad, fries, and bread of course for dipping (my mouth is starting to water) for 20 dirham ! Middle East and North Africa	Rendition	This was a disturbing film on so many levels What stood out to me was that it took the new kid on the block (Jake) to realize the absolute absurdity of this situation ! He was practically speechless when he was releasing his captive, as if he still could not believe what he had participated in, and watching someone admit to crimes as their only way to freedom! This poor man had lived in the US for 20 years! Just a sad reminder that because of the nature of our relationships, we will continue to face this type of scrutiny, prejudice and flat out ignorance! He understands my heart, and is always willing to listen He loves to cook, and clean up after ! (an American woman's dream!) The way he treats his mother When I spent Ramadan with him, he fixed me breakfast nearly every morning when he was fasting. Every night I would tell him not to and the next morning he would do it again, just smile and say, "I love you !" The way he loves me even when I am "shiwya crazy!" Middle East and North Africa	Summer in Morocco	I would never go back in summer unless it was absolutely necessary. I didn't tolerate the heat (or mosquitos) well! Even in Marrakech, although drier ~ still pretty freakin hot ! I think we traveled on the newer trains because they were very comfortable. One advantage to the heat, it suppressed my appetite!
