PhilippinesThis is the day we have been waiting for
QUOTE (TexPamp @ Jul 19 2008, 03:34 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Just to be sure, Pink slip with White slip simply means Document Verification is pending. Correct? Or could there something else? Sweetie is back on YM SMS and is enjoying the day on her mountain there in San Mateo.

TexPamp

White slip is a checklist of things/documents the US Embassy asks from the applicants. On some, "document verification" is explicitly written there. On some, some things on the check list are checked. On some, nothing was indicated which also equates to document veification.

While waiting for your sweetie, you can pray that she may have a friendly pre-screener and CO. And at the conslusion of the interview, may she get only pink slip!

Dont worry she'll be fine! God bless both of you! smile.gif

P.S.
When did she pay the document verification fee? Thank you!

PhilippinesPHYSICAL EXAM AT SLEC EXPERIENCE. HOW WAS IT?

with regards to the physical examintaion, you really have to undress. i was told by the lady doctor to just put the gown on top of me...not wear it! i was asked to lie supine, then she palpated for my breasts and abdomen. she asked me to lie on my left side pulling my knees toward my chest, she then checked for something down there. dont worry there's no internal examination.

she took note of any body marks..like ear piercing..how many ear holes. i dont have a tattoo so no problem with that.

after that she asked me alot of questions; smoking, drinking, drugs. etc

goodluck! just laugh if you feel like it smile.gif

ay nako baka mag hagik gik ako dun! lalo na sa palpation..ang babaw ng concer ko noh? but yeah, thats d reason why im serious asking about the palpation procedure.

so bottom line...the doctor palpates ONLY the breast and abdomen?

yup pretty much yun lang ang papalpate nila..dont worry, it's a routine procedure. smile.gif

PhilippinesHOW SOON TO GET AN APPOINTMENT DATE?
QUOTE (frostysoftyeaton @ Jul 21 2008, 10:39 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
It's me again..How soon could we get an appointment date for my medical and interview? It confuses me because some says we could call the embassy for our appointment date right after we have our manila case number and some says to wait until the embassy has our packet already, now which is which?

You can call the USEM when you have the Manila case number. Wait a week after your case has left NVC. When you call, USEM 1-909-101-7878, ask them first if they already received your case. If they do, then you can schedule your appointment and have your medical exam at SLEC.

Immediately after the call or in my case, while I was talking with the call center agent, I received the appointment confirmation letter. You'll present that to the guards at SLEC and USEM.

I didnt wait for a letter from USEM. That letter came after I was done with my medical appointment.

Goodluck on your journey! good.gif

Philippinesmy 2nd batch docs request i got from usem =(
They will just deport him.

Yeah, the concensus here is, Mario should go back to the US and get a stable job. With that he can establish domicile.

Jonah, you are not yet denied, you just have to change Mario's situation, domicile that is.

Philippinesmy 2nd batch docs request i got from usem =(
Yeah, I think your husband should return to the US and look for a stable job then file another petition for you and the baby. (After paying the overstaying penalties that is.)

Why is your baby's CRBA denied? Im hoping you will find a good ally in the Philippine immigration, he may plead to lower the penalty.

Your in my prayers. innocent.gif

PhilippinesSLEC medical exam
Yeah you will get the result the day after, but it's the SLEC that will forward your passport and medical exam results to USEM. Nobody knows how long it would take for the results to reach USEM. To be safe, make it a week prior to the interview. Goodluck!

Philippinesvisa not on hand
I had my interview last July 1, I received pink and white slips (for DV). My fiance called at the USEM at this number: 1-909-101-7878, twice. On the first call Grace told my fiance to call again after 2 weeks. On the second call after 5 days (yeah, we're anxious kasi), Grace told my fiance that the visa was ready for relase to Delbros.

I received a message from Delbros that they will deliver the visa soon..but it's been 7 days. But it's ok as long as it's for delivery already.

Have your SO call USEM to ask about your status. God bless you! smile.gif

Philippinescopies vs originals
QUOTE (wizardfitz @ Jul 19 2008, 10:44 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
for the interview Maribel has all my originals documents, birth cert, divorce papers, IRS transcripts etc . i brought those all to her in may. my question is will photocopies of my pay stubs and phone records from may to the interview in august be okay? or should i snail mail the more recent items?

Photocopies are fine. During my interview, the prescreener asked for my notarized I 134, W2 and form 1040 (W2 and form 1040 were just photocopies). They didn't ask for my fiance's pay stub and employment letter. VJ friends said that if your income is more than 125% of the poverty line, the pre screener doesn't usually ask for proofs of income.

She'll do fine..Goodluck! good.gif

PhilippinesWaiting for visa
QUOTE (mitch&ana @ Jul 22 2008, 12:24 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Thank you so much for your support guys. I called USEM almost 2 weeks now, and I change my mailing address, and the customer representative told me that it will take a maximum of 2 weeks to change that address I gave her. Then I called again today Loyd (customer rep) answer me, I asked him about my visa situation, he just told me to wait and that my case is still in the CO. They didn't even change my address yet. So guess I will just have to wait, that is all I can do for now, I will just don't think that I will get it soon because the more I well expect the more I will get disappointed if I wont get it soon. Yes it is very sad but I have to be strong and keep my faith to God.

Don't worry much...you are not alone in the waiting game. Just be positive! You'll get your visa soon. Pray! That will help lighten your spirit. God bless! smile.gif

Give your papers 7 days to reach USEM, after it left NVC. Call 1-909-101-7878 (Smart and PLDT phones only) at arond 7.30am, they are not yet busy during that time. You may schedule your interview if personnel at USEM has already encoded your case. The call center agent at USEM will immediately send you an appointment confirmation letter via email. You will present this letter to the guard at SLEC for the medical exam and to the guard at USEM for the interview.

Best wishes for your medical and interview appointments! good.gif
