We just called today and my interview is scheduled for Sept 2, 2008 at 7 AM. Any other VJ'ers having their interview on that date?

We just have a few questions on how or what to answer in the DS-156 Form specifically the ff: Please feel free to add your own answers or comment if my answers are ok or not smile.gif

Question 26
How long do you intend to stay in the U.S.? INDEFINITELYOR PERMANENTLY
I was going to answer "For as long as my fiancee, lives and stays in the U.S."

Question 27
What is the Purpose of your Trip? TO MARRY MY PETITIONER/FIANCE
I placed, "In order to marry and live with my fiancee"

Question 32
Do you intend to work in the U.S.? WITH WORK AUTHORIZATION
"YES" "Self-Employed as a Lawyer". Well I am presently a lawyer here in the Philippines and God Willing, as soon as my K1 Visa is granted, I get to head to California and be with Claudette, take the BAR and practice in the U.S.

Any other tips would be highly appreciated Guys!

They do deliver on Saturdays..just fill up the authorization letter at the back of the Delbros receipt and leave a valid ID.

You may call 1-909-101-7878, USEM's call center. Ask first if your case is already encoded on their database. If so, you may now schedule your interview. Shortly after talking to the call rep, they will send you an appointment letter visa email. You will present that mail to the guards at SLEC and USEM.

Be ready with your case number.

Pay your document verification fee as son as possible to avoid delay. Make sure to follow it up with Delbros. Goodluck on your medical exam. Gather all the other requirements and best wishes on your interview! smile.gif

After your interview, did the CO ask you to go wait for your name to be called at window 37 and 38?

Usually, after the interview at windows 27 to 32, the applicant would wait outside, near windows 37 and 38. When the name is called, they will give the pink/white slips there.

The call rep agent that got to talk to said that I can present the confirmation letter to the guard at SLEC for my medical appointment. I didnt have the letter from NVC/USEM then. I dont really know if they will allow you to have a medical appointment without the confirmation letter.

Better call for interview appointment first..Everything will be alright. Dont panic smile.gif

I was the one (the beneficiary) who called the embassy and scheduled my interview. Some of the applicants are havong a hard time talking to the call rep agents. They dont seem to know what they are talking about. mad.gif

Try to call everyday until you get a date. One agent says things different from the other agents.

Give USEM a week after your case left NVC. Goodluck! good.gif

DV usually takes a month to process.
I received a white slip for DV, I got my visa after 3 weeks.

It was our plan for my fiance to pick me up, but he just got 11 days off. We've decided that we'll spend those days settling in and goind around CA. 11 days is so short, if he'll come here and get me, I mean it's no cost effective. Just the thought of my fiance waiting for me will make me get though the flight.

She will be fine, just make sure she has a cellphone with roaming SIM or a US SIM card (with roaming) and enough money. Tell her do not hesitate to ask the flight attendants if she doesn't know what to do. They will not fault her for asking.

May God guide her during her flight. good.gif

Having it biopsied is the best way to go about it. For you, you'll have a closure what it is. And you will not be held up in the interview should the CO ask what is the fianl diagnosis.

If that nevus is not growing very fast, meaning if it hadn't changed much in the last couple of years, I bet it's just a benign one.

Since it will still be a while before you leave..it think it will be better if you'll have your TRO's authenticated. It's better to be overprepared than regret doing that when you are in the US already.. smile.gif

Hi there. First, if your fiancee had not signed any marriage certificate, that means nothing will be filed to the civil registry. I think the LOLO falsified the documents to spite your fiance.

Yeah, they can do xrays on patients of all ages. They will get a supine film of your baby's chest/lungs. PPD is not a confirmatory test for primary pulmonary Tb as well as the chest xray. Your baby needs to satisfy a criteria before he/she can be labeled as a Tb disease.

The criteria include signs and symptoms and few age related laboatories such as chest xray and PPD skin tests.

Hi pink! You can bring sharp objects like nipper and metal pusher, put in your luggage/baggage to be checked-in..you can't put that in your carry on bag.
