I am finding this waiting for the interview very hard (i know it has only been a couple days since our case has been complete) but I think it is because they are not many timelines for Barbados... so I am not sure on how long we will have to wait for the interview date. Yesterday parts of PA flooded and i had to drive thru it, i drive a crysler 300 (doesnt sit high), I stood there in my car looking at the water thinking i wont make it, i cant go right and i deff cant go back with a 100 car pile up behind me so i can only go fwd. i sat for a lil bit and this white Audi went around me and drove fwd. finally i got the B*lls to drive thur so i went slow and droves as close to the median in the middle of the rd. finally we are almost out of the water when the impatient white Audi car decided to give out . oh gezzz there are 50 cars now stuck in water up to their doors for 30 mins. Usually in Trinidad people will come out and help push the car thur and to the side but not here where i live, every man for themselves. firefighters came and push him out i was never that happy no get out of water before. my car drove home but now its gotta go in to the shop, waw 2 days before vaccation just my luck. no yippy skippy dippy d dippy here So now that some thing bad has happened hopfully the something good is OUR INTERVIEW DATE, please lord please let me be happy before i get the bill from the Repair shop. Im going on vacation and just been busy trying to clean the house from top to bottom before we leave, ud swear the President is comming over for lunch lolll. Been so busy NVC hasn't been on my mind, I called last night at 8pm and they had no date for me. They told me to call back the 2nd week of June thats when they might have one, I know thats not true. I will call them back on Friday before I leave im hoping they can tell me something positive by then cus i cant call them for one week once I leave. The interview is in 12 hours, but the officer knows my wife will not have the medical results back until Wednesday at 9am..One day after the interview and she told my wife that she will be fine......She will give her a Letter to come back and bring the Medical Results on Wednesday! That's positive thinking from a American Officer and makes me feel good!!! I wish ur wife the best of luck i hope she's not too nervous. Release the bill so we can pay it already and we'll send HAPPILY send the IV application!!! I picked up my Hubby in Detroit early this afternoon and we were hoping the bill would be available to paid when we got back to Windsor. No such luck. Happy Victoria Day long weekend, fellow Canadians!! Now you need to issue NVC a check list stating "u give me what i want and id give u waht u want" lolllll bang bang on checklist. thou shall not fake checklist and try to give others a heart attack!!!!! Keep an eye on it More like the work till 5 and are grumpy form 5-midnight. But i must say when i called arround 9 or 10pm and got case complete the lady at NVC actually sound happier than i was. it's just some love there job and some just dont wanna repeat themselves i guess. When I got my interview, I called DOS first and got it there. But I immediately called up NVC and got it there as well. I would suggest just calling both places. It wouldn't hurt! And it's usually a few hours after the interview date is scheduled to receive the interview package. I found out my interview date early afternoon on a Friday and got my interview package at 6am on Saturday. The interview package contains the interview letter which the beneficiary needs for both the medical and interview. Thanks ma lady with almost all the answers.... AWSOME CongratZZZZZZ case complete so exciting, what a relief wow GOODYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY YAYYYYY!!! The interview today in Trinidad went SO smoothly! My husband just called. They only asked him what my name is, when we met, and if my address is the same. He plays basketball and is really tall so the employees at the embassy made him sign the back of one of the passport photos so that they "don't have to pay for it if he goes pro". What a huge relief. He will be back next weekend!!!! Thanks to all for the support and encouragement throughout this process. Couldn't have done it without VJ. I mailed it before i got the instructions..and then i saw it might delay the process,,.... and i am stressed out about it!!! Dont stress.. did you put the BARCODED cover sheet in front of you packet (as the 1st page)? that's what you need to do most inportantly. Don't put the entire section in color. That way, your last section won't be so boring And yeah, I was out of room, so I just decided to make a picture out of my timeline by creating it in InDesign. I just found the two flags together on Google images I didn't actually make that ooooooooooo thats a good sugestion. Google it is. Id like to put my whole process on but that might end up to be too images lolll. 1st my mom came (in the days when I-130 were so quick, u get married and BAM!! ur here with ur spouse) and 10 yrs after i did, then became USCitizen & now trying to drag my husband over. All that takes up lines and for signatures, you can only have 40 lines of code. If possible, maybe remove a word here or there, condense your signature. I had to do this multiple times when I was going through the process too. And I had links too in my signature and that takes up a lot of lines of code OH boy no colour How do you highlight? IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - May 2012	hello folks, Sorry guys it been pretty busy for me....Anyway good news, Visa approved and interview was pretty simple and easy for her. She said the questions were around what's your husband's job and how many people were invited to the wedding then Visa approved....I'll get you guys more details when I get a chance. Thank you folks for your help, specially the Sensei APPROVED!!!!! We way over-thought the process, depending on where you are having your interview, if it is anything like Spain, be calm and relaxed, it's a piece of cake. Basically my husband went in, overflowing with pictures and documents. They only care about the tax reports (i sent originally the 2010 because it was before April 17th) if you did the same, make sure that you bring updated tax transcripts. I would bring them anyway, since it seems that is all they care about. They asked him what he will do, he said study, when he told them that we are studying in two different cities until i receive my MBA the guy could care less, he just said that's great, good luck, APPROVED! My husband was in shock, he asked if the guy wanted photos, letters anything, and the guy said no. They did leave him a room for about an hour while they went to get lunch, so that was nerve-wrecking. Just know this, make sure your file is absolutely complete before it is sent to the embassy and you will have nothing to worry about!!!! GOOD LUCK EVERYONE! Awsome for u guys!!! In all we had to wait for like 3 hrs before it was our turn for the interview but the interview itself only took 5 minutes :-D Yippy for you..... time to pack up and ship outtttttt 26 days until Interview Fix that smily face, this is the momement that u have been waiting on.
