Waivers (I-601 and I-212) and Administrative Processes (221g)I601 2012 - 2013 filers

sometime last year the i601 waiver started being processes in the USA instead of overseas, but I guess that's not your case.... My lawyer is sending mine to a lockbox here in the USA for processing, but it's such a recent change I can find any data on approval time except what the uscis website lists, which is unreliable....

Congratz on your approval, I hope you and your family are reunited by now.

Thanks

no no no i think im misunderstood, yes my case was sent to a lock box also the one in Nebraska i believe and i havent received any approval yet so i havent seen my family in about 6 months, i left my son when he was about 7 months and now hes already walking :(

Waivers (I-601 and I-212) and Administrative Processes (221g)I-601 WAIVER & 212

Hello everybody, It's been a while since I have'nt posted anything my fiance interview was on Jan 07.2013 was'nt denied but was'nt approved. Ask to send his waiver to Lockbos in Pheonix which we did last week I understand it's a 3 to 4 month wait. Has anyone gone through this? Please give me your feedback on what to expect I would really appreciate it. It also included hardship letters from my fiance as well as ours. We just hope for the best and good luck to everybody on there Journey. I just can't believe how long is our wait SO FRUSTRATED :crying: :crying: :help:

all i can say is to be strong and prepare for anything. Im going through this right now and its taking more then 4 months. My interview was sept 14 2012 and you have to realize that the wait time is after they receive the waiver. They received my waiver on oct 26 2012 and to this day ive yet to hear anything from them. Im almost at my 6 months since leaving the country. My medical exams expire this month on the 12 i believe. So just be strong and maybe youll have better luck then me.

Waivers (I-601 and I-212) and Administrative Processes (221g)Why do cases take so long?
are they atleast done in the order they came in?

Waivers (I-601 and I-212) and Administrative Processes (221g)Why do cases take so long?

So many different visas and petitions and so few workers. Then add in extra work caused by the POTUS and his immigratgion reform. Based on our case I would say that CSC is working on ROC right now instead of anything else. This is due to how quickly they cashed the check and sent out the NOA1 for our case. It goes in waves as to which visa is worked on and which service center is faster. All I can say is you will have to wait. It is like the DMV and maybe your wait has been long enough that it is now lunch time.

Dave

how long do you think the wait will be?

Waivers (I-601 and I-212) and Administrative Processes (221g)Why do cases take so long?
Does anyone here actually know why some cases take so long to get completed? i mean do they do the cases in the order they got them or are they ramdom? do they look at anything else to prioritize them ? on the USCIS website says process time for an I601 is about four months but its taking way longer than that.

Waivers (I-601 and I-212) and Administrative Processes (221g)got approved and now waiting on DHL. need some questions answered

Hello! I'm a little confused with your post. What was approved? Was it your I-130 petition? Or was the visa approved at the consulte in Ciudad Juarez?

From what I'm reading, I think you are confused. If your I-130 was approved, there is no DHL package to track. The Waybill Number on the usvisa-info.com is the number DHL uses when sending the visa with the passport. So if you are waiting for the instructions, they will not arrive via DHL. I'm surprised you lawyers is telling you to check the website.

If the letter you got in the mail is the I-130 approval, then your case will be forwarded to the National Visa Center. You will need to contact them. Make sure you get the case number. Does your case number start with CDJ or MEP?

Please clarify your post. Thanks.

Hey sorry i should have clarified, what was approved was my I601 waiver. My lawyer said that i was going to get a DHL package with instructions on what to do next which would be to send in my passport to get sealed im guessing then they would return it stamped and i could return home. i hope that clarifies

Waivers (I-601 and I-212) and Administrative Processes (221g)got approved and now waiting on DHL. need some questions answered
Ok so i got approved on march 12 through USCIS.gov and got the actual letter in the mail on march 15. So my question is how long does it take for the dhl instruction package to arrive? its been 7 days since i got the letter in the mail. My lawyer told me to be checking on mexico.usvisa-info.com and i have but it just says "There is no information on the Waybill Number at this time".

I tried calling DHL but they say without the waybill number they cant give me any info. I did some research because i heard from known people that when they were going through that, that they checked online all the time and never saw something new so they just decided to take a trip to the dhl office and when they got there they told me that their package had been there. I found similar things to this of people online.

Is there any other way of finding out about the DHL package whereabouts? Does anyone have any opinions? should i take a trip to the dhl office? the thing is that its in michoacan zamora and im in mexico city so you could see the problem there. Any info would be much appreciated!

I know exactly what you mean...it's soo expensive to be here, I've never been in Mexico, after my parents took me to the US, I've never been back, and I was only 2 years old at the time, I'm waiting in Monterrey, which is my husband's original home city, I'm staying with the in laws, but I was born in Acapulco, regardless everything is very foreign to me...I hate being away from my babies and my husband,....I, too, just want to go home...

I left mexico when i was 8 and hadnt been back since then either. So everything def seemed foreign to me aswell. On top of that i have to deal with a father that i didnt want to see ever again lol, hes the reason i left in the first place which im thankfull for because to me the US is my home. Being away from the kids is def the hardest though and its not like you can bring them here, i mean you can but life here is too crazy and i wouldnt want my baby living here. Too much violence, poverty etc. I hope you get back to your babies and husband soon.

I feel like ive been waiting for years now. Its hell here for me.. i just hope i get response very soon because i dont want to have to go back to ciudad juarez for more medical exams, ive spent enough i think lol.

Did the atty send it to lockbox on time or later....did you see the waiver, were there hardship letter/s from wife , friends etc...just asking

well it took about 3 weeks after my appointment on sep 14 for my atty and wife to gather needed info, on the website it says they received my waiver on october 26. Yes there was letters from my wife, friends,phycologist..etc im just worried because my medical exams are almost at the 6 month expired date and that just means more money to spend which ive already spent a butt load of.

Im kinda mad at myself because i was eligeble for the dream act and i thought to myself back then maybe i should get the two year permit and i was sure that a law would pass within those 2 years where i could stay in the country and thats what happened :(

Waivers (I-601 and I-212) and Administrative Processes (221g)new here and desperate I-601 waiver
Hello everyone, my name is Edgar and im in the process of my I-601 waiver approval. short description of case.

Entered the US when i was nine years old, i am now 26. No criminal record.
Married wife 3 years ago.Had our first and only son on jan 12 2012.
Ciudad juarez appointment was september 14. Was denied and gave me 601 waiver form. Waiver form was received on october 26. Havent had any news since then. I guess im just here writting this because im going crazy without any news and im just seeking words of hope from you that are going through this or went through this. Its torture living without my family, especially my son. I missed so much of his life already, i missed his first bday, christmas, his first words, his first steps, pretty much his first everything.I feel like he probably doesnt even remember me and will not recognize me when i get to see him again. Ofcourse i also miss my wife so much, shes my best friend and is having such a bad time with this. Bills, bills, bills, lonelyness etc, but regardless im very proud of her for trying her best. Also im a dog person and my dog and i were very close and i know some of you probably dont understand the bond you grow to have with your dog but i had a very strong one with my dog. He probably thinks i abandoned him and he recently got attack by an offleash dog and i feel awful for not being able to be there for him.

Then recently i checked my status online and said something about a 35-45 day delay?.Is going online the only way to check status? how will i know when im approved, from what i understood reading online the 35-45 day delay is for the online status because they are too busy updating the site?

so yea im just looking for you guys view and opinion. feel free to ask any questions

US Embassy and Consulate Discussioncan i set an appointment of interview and med with the packet from Mnl embassy? i have my MNL case no already...

Hello

We already booked our interview for june 19 without the instruction letter from the Manila embassy, If you search some post here many VJ members proceed to the medical and interview without waiting for that snail mail to arrive as long as you have the MNL number, you can proceed to the online appointment.

Click this link for the online method http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/

as of the status of your case input your MNL number in this website https://ceac.state.gov/CEAC/

What we did in our case is I did print screen the result in the online case status which says you are ready for interview and medical.

I will be taking my medical this june 4 without the letter from the embassy just include also your online interview confirmation data printed,

hope this will help clear your mind smile.png

RIGHT NOW MY DS-160 says NO STATUS, does it mean even if I have my MNL case number, I can't schedule for my interview and medical yet until the status change to READY?

I really appreciate your candidness. My apologies if my post bothers you. It is hard for a first timer LIKE ME to know all the info that was recently provided in this post for I was confuse and anxious at the same time. I've read different kind of answers so I had to post and ask it myself to get a straight answer. Now I'm relieved. You know how it felt to process paper and I was hoping for your kind consideration. yeah PM hank,,,he will get you the needed info

thank u for ur respond :)

As already been said by another member you can make an appointment now for the interview right after the payment for BPI has been made.  Follow this  link ( thanks Hank  smile.png ) for the next steps once you have the MNL number handy : http://visaconnectio...ilippines.com/#

When she goes to pay at BPI make sure she brings her Philippine Passport . My fiancee was asked about it .  Fortunately she brought it with her.  I read from another post that another member was asked about it too. Good luck.

thank you very much for this information :)

You dont need to wait for the letter. Tell your finace to pay th visa fee at any BPI bank make sure to bring the mrv slip when paying. After four hours she can schedule her interview online. Next, register at the SLEC for the medical. It can be done atleast one week before the interview. Make sure she has her latest BC, NBI and Cenomar and you better prepare your affifavit of support(origianal),w2,itr(2012),paystus,employment letter, bank statement. Send the affidvit of support to her asap. Everything else can b copies you can just email the copies to her. I think thats all! Good luck! hit me up if u have question.

oh btw, you can google the mrv slip($240), schedule appointment interview and slec registration.

THANK YOU THANK YOU!!

PhilippinesGot my MNL case number for my fiancé what's next?

I know that this has been asked and answered. But I just want to start a new thread about this topic for those people who are currently in this situation, like me.

I called NVC and they gave me the MNL case number for my fiancé. I asked him what's next and he told me that it is now all up to US manila embassy.

Our case was forwarded to manila on october 29, 2013. Until now we're still waiting for the us manila embassy to send us the invitation letter.

Its been a month and I'm already worried. Should we still be waiting for the letter or we can go on with the process already and get an appointment for interview?

Anyone who experienced this, please be patient with me and inform me with the step by step process that we should take.

THANKS IN ADVANCE!
