Did you call 2 times the NVC to check arrived and left and then did you call the embassy to know when it arrived ? Or did you get a fedex or whatever trcking number ? Jamie just called the NVC, I knew that our folder would not be there but we wanted to try anyway. The girl told him that sometimes it could take 60 days after NOA2 for a folder to arrive at NVC ? I never heard about that, it seems to be kinda the same all the times : 3/4 days from Vermont and 5/6 days from California. Do you think taht it is some kinda lies so we don't call everyday ? We can't afford for Andy to travel to Frankfurt twice, given it's a 5 or 6 hour train ride -- expensive! If something's missing and he would need to return, it would be very problematic for us! Some small good news -- Andy had another job interview today! They called with only a few hours notice for some front desk job at a hotel. I have my fingers crossed. All we need is a couple of months of work behind him to save up for the time we wait for EAD! Oh wow ! 2 months ago, I didn't know that, it is very different in France, sorry for my mistake... Funny you should say that, someone who shall remain nameless......... called DOS today and it was noted that they had sent their pk3 back BEFORE USEM had even sent it out to them, said he'd never seen that before..... I cant imagine where they got the idea to do that from But for Aubrey it is another story, Andy did receive his packet 3... I had 2 touches earlier in the week which made me really happy and then nothing until I received the hard copy NOA2 in the mail. I was a nervous, anxious, grumpy wreck all week. The website still says case pending even though I received the hard copy in the mail. Stay away from that website if you can. Easier said than done, I know. I checked it 5+ times a day, everyday last week. I think that all the July filers will be approved by the end of December. At least I really really hope so. It's a rough immigration world out there! I looked on the permit and the date of expiration is august 16th like my I-94. So I asked what I will have to do after this date and they told me to comeback with my california driving license, and a proof of status (EAD or GC) and the will re-send me a new one, I will maybe just have to have a new picture done, that is it.
