Sometimes you have to play around a bit with the dates, but I've usually managed to find what works this way. In both boxes today I put Jan 13 2009. At the foot of the page you will see a little box marked track with a red arrow, click on that and a list should appear ...there were 3 pages today. The only trouble I have relates to the day/date thing. I am a day ahead here in NZ, and always getting an error "The date cannot be in the future" Course it can...that's where I am tongue.gif To find anything shipped on a Monday I put the same date, in my case Jan 12 in all three boxes and that worked to on their Monday, my Tuesday. hope it helps. That helped a lot ! Thank you soooo much. After nealy 6 weeks at NVC I had hoped they would be a little faster on this bit! I am not sure if it has not arrived or just not been logged as arrived by the embassy. I followed the DHL tracking guidance and all the possible London packets have arrived and been signed for by the end of last week:( it takes them upto 10days to log onto the system. We are good friends and he has treated me so well and been there for me to talk to since Keith left me. He has picked me up and held my hand. He is 13 years older and i know thats not alot but for some reason I have a issue with it. Maybe its because I am just not ready for another relationship because my heart is still with Keith and I do still love him adn would take him back in a heart beat.. I dont know.. time will tell what my future will bring. Anyways I only stopped by to say hellloooo and to see if the new baby had been born yet , yayyyy for Ryan... So, we are supposed as french people to do the "publications des bans" 2 months before the wedding date if you want your wedding to be official in France also. It is a big surprise for me I have to admit cuz' I didn't know it. They say that if you get married without doing this "publication des bans" the consular in L.A or S.F (for you) will maybe ask for an interview with the couple for a few questions, and they will check if the marriage is acceptable. I sent an email to the guy in charge of that kinda case in LA and I will let you know informed. Jamie and I will get married in Vegas middle of march, so it is too late for us to do the publication des bans. Damn ! If I knew this before !!!! If I begin to put all the documents they need from me and Jamie together it will take at least 2 weeks, so #### the publication des bans. It's like Gemmie said -- it's a worry because we have so little. I wasn't worried about money until now, because the funds will continue to dwindle down until I manage to find a job post-graduation in May. So it very well could come down to keeping food on the table and a roof over my/our heads. I can't let it get to that point, and if something's not changing (me working, Andy finding a job to pay for the upcoming expenses), it WILL come to that. I would be an idiot if I didn't do everything possible to avoid those problems. But it puts a huge strain on me since I've already got a full plate with my coursework and preparing for the job hunt ahead. Nothing's gone as planned since Andy's student visa plan fell through originally - the finances just get worse and our reunion day more uncertain. I'm not trying to be a cry baby or whine and moan on here. Still, it's easy to forget that sometimes it's not as simple as "just don't worry about it." There's only so much time on your feet a body can take before you're going to crash. That's where I'm heading. I don't expect everyone to understand; I certainly didn't understand until recently how someone can get into a worry about money. I assumed it was irresponsibility. In my case, it was planning that just didn't pan out. ANYWAYS I probably just shouldn't post anymore since I only seem to be bringing down this thread, and I don't want to take away from anyone's joy. I'm backing away slowly for awhile until I have only good news to post. I have to get to class now anyways. Good luck with the upcoming medicals, interviews, sleepless nights with infants, etc. This thread is here to share good and not so good stories. And you know it Aubrey because you began that thread I didn't know that your situation was this bad and I'm sorry. I hope that everything will be ok for you both. I know I've heard that mock weddings can be frowned upon due to what does/doesn't legally constitute a marriage in that country- but it's not going to be religious so it can't be legally binding that way, we won't have an officiant and we won't have guests to witness it aside from the photographer. Plus, we'll be legally married within the week. I think I'm just getting desperate at this point, since all our plans came to a hault. Do you guys think this is playing with fire? The co sponsors bank was a little more accommodating and faxed through all the info we needed so we dont have "originals" so to speak. Just remember you need two copies of everything evidential. Does the Embassy in France turn interviews around quickly? Do you have a date in mind when you want to move over? Hassle them all...it seems to be a July Filers perogative! Apparently France embassy is not too bad. Around 1 month between the day they receive the case 'til the day of the interview... I'm supposed to leave France at the beginning of March cuz' my wedding is on march 14th...
