Anytime I meet someone I know there's the exact same dialogue: Person: "Hi! Aren't you at the States? What about your husband? How long are you staying in Portugal?" Me: "No... He's in the States... I don't know, maybe 1 month, maybe 2, maybe 3..." Person: "Ah..." I see that look in everybody's face: "They are divorcing, I knew it! They're not even living together anymore! " It's hilarious!!!!! Don't worry, just wait for the RFE and send the corrected form as soon as you get the letter. My husband and I were very lucky: he was able to stay in Europe with me since we got married, but he had to go back to the States only 1 month ago, but it hurts SO much... if the pain is like this in 1 month appart, I can't imagine how it is to be separated for months, even years!!!! There's nothing we can do, we just have to wait just a little bit longer, and think that we'll have all the Xmases, birthdays and Thanksgivings of our lives together... Our case was completed on the 5th, and NVC told us that we wouldn't get a December interview... they told us to call again on the 21st to know the interview date. BUT we called again (just in case), and the operator told us that there was still a chance to get a December interview, to call back on the 21st... Is anyone on the same situation?
