We were approved last weekend after 4 months, but I was sad because I know that there's so many people who filled before us waiting... this is just unbelievable!!!! You pay so much, and there's so much burocracy... and you have a terrible slooow system. I keep saying to my husband "your government is making fun of you, taking your money for a pathetic service, this is unbelievable, a scandal, but you don't COMPLAIN. If they were doing the same thing to me in my country I'd send complaining letters to everyone, I'd fight". America has to know what we are suffering, what an American citizen has to go through for the privilege of living with their foreign SPOUSE, with a legal marriage!!! Sorry, I had to say it, I'm furious, it's just not the treatment that human beings deserve! I'm very fortunate and I can't complain: my husband is still with me, he had a scholarship to Europe this year and we are both in Madrid preparing our thesis (I love jamón!). In one month he has to go back to the US, and sometimes I cry when I look at him and think that in a couple of weeks we're going to be apart for 2? 3? months... The letter was formal, she only mentioned the facts and dates, and she said I was able to speak and write in English. That was the only thing, and worked for us. No RFE... You'll be fine! Make sure your wife calls the clinic and asks what she needs to bring with her, and what's the best way to get the vaccination records, or get the missing shots.
