Philippinesi need help asap pls pls pls help me
Those documents that you've send to NVC will be forwarded to the US Embassy Manila. So if the consul ask for the original copy, just say its already with them. Just bring the photocopy. I only bring copies of those documents in the embassy.

PhilippinesTrying to send a wedding ring
I am trying to send a wedding ring to my fiance in the Philippines and I am worried about theft and whatnot. The major companies, fed ex, UPS, will only insure 500 dollars. DHL wont do it all. Is there another alternitive? If I was to hide it in a teddy bear or something, what are the chances of it being found by customs? Any help or past experinces will be greatly appriecated, thank you

Philippines10 day waitng question
I am going to the philippines and have a short amount of time. I have a question I know I have to wait ten days before I can get the Marriage license. My question is if I was to apply on the 5th at 10am would that mean on the 15th at 10:01 I could get my license. Another question is, is it 10 working days?
Any help would be appreciated, thanks

PhilippinesNEED HELP about DS-156K
it can be found on 2nd page of packet 4:

g. OTHER COUNTRY POLICE CERITFICATES: Applicants aged 16 years and older must also present Police Certificates from other countries where they have lived for six(6) months or more after reaching the age of 16. As with NBI clearances, foreign police certificates should be obtained in any maiden names, aliases or nicknames ever used while in the country in question, including different spellings you have used of those names.

so if you went abroad better secure a copy if not don't worry about it, NBI is all we need....

Good luck on our up coming interview....hope to see you there smile.gif

My mother and older sister are business women, younger sis is a student at a renowned ballet company, dad is working in a big company too. They will try. Please pray for them =)

yes they seems being considerate with elderly, I have a neighbor, a retired teacher and had a tour in US to visit her daughter working as a nurse. I never heard an age like 20 to 35 who were approved yet, even the local artist here have a hard time in going there, recently was Ara Mina if others know her

I presume the ground you used in your annulment is Article 36 which is psychological incapacity since it is the most popular ground in the Philippines for Annulment. Once you have the Decree of Annulment, the end result is that the marriage never existed and void from the very beginning and the only "acknowledged" result is/are the child/childrne borm out of that marriage who is/are considered legitimate, therefore you should check SINGLE NEVER MARRIED.

Philippine laws DO NOT recognize DIVORCE so absolutely we can't use that.

Just my opinion smile.gif

Myla

yep, psychological incapacity, thanks a lot, I will check single never married then

ELECTRONIC NONIMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION FORM (DS-156)

Items 1, 3-5 must contain the applicant’s passport number, issuing country, and issuance and expiration dates, as shown exactly in the applicant’s passport. (For applicants whose passports were issued in Manila, please leave “Country” and “State/Province” fields blank in Item 2.)

Items 30-31 must contain information about each U.S. visa issued and each visa refused, including tourist and other types of visas.

Item 37 must contain the status of the applicant’s relative(s) in the United States, i.e. legal permanent resident or American citizen.

Let's take this example.

As on January 1st, Joe Smith is single (never married).

On February 1st, Joe Smith marries Jane Black. Now his status is Married.

On March 1st, a court issues a final decree that the marriage on February 1st is annulled and never existed. Now his status is Single (never married).

Joe can provide proof that he is single (never married) by showing his court issued final annullment decree.

Please clear me up on this particular question, I asked on several forums, most they said I'll check "divorced" and lately here on VJ "Forever in Love" say I will check "single(never married)......by the way I'm annulled, on my own understanding, what's the used of putting there divorced as one of the choices then? and on
Q#18 it ask the "spouses full name"(even if divorced or separated.include midden name).....

I think this may result to AR if we get wrong information, cause most of the info they get are from our DS FORMS....

Q#17 Marital Status:
married__ Single(never married)__

Widowed__ Divorced__ Separated__

hi! its me again lol! anyway i've decided to check the divorced. but just pm me or update me if what u will find better ans biggrin.gif

PhilippinesWedding Gown Cost
QUOTE (jom @ Sep 12 2007, 08:41 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Hi.. . I just had my interview last september 11 and passed but days before that I went to tutuban and bought this beautiful wedding satin cloth already beaded with very small silver beads in patterns . . not the usual beads used in gown, it is simply beautiful and i bought it for P250 per yard from P350. . i bargained good i guess. I bought all the other materials like the lining and the other small things needed and all in all it only cost me less that P2,000. The labor is P4,000.00 so thats basically a P6,000.00 beautiful gown already. . . remember its not the price that counts or who makes it but how you will wear it on your wedding day. . as they say in tagalog " nasa nagdadala yan" smile.gif

you nailed it right good.gif
