IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Application "touched"	I am a bit confused on the "touched" part as well. My petition was received on 4/24/12 and my NOA1 received on 4/27/12. Now my status in the USCIS website says "last updated on 4/30/12. Does that mean it is just moving through the stages already? IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Appointment Procedure For NVC-Cuba	I admit that I am not knowledgeable with the IR-1/CR-1 process, because I’m focused on the K-1 process, but isn’t the IR-1/CR-1 process for a spouse abroad to receive a visa? I believe this is a family-based visa, and there is no limit to how many of these visas are issued by the US, and thus I’d be complaining regularly to NVC, US Interest Section Havana, and even further if they are telling you that they are not accepting interviews now. The family-based visa interviews should be available to at least schedule, although we might not like the timeframe…In fact, the US Interest Section website says normally interview appointments are available within 2 months, but this can “vary greatly”. Cubans are looking at about 8 months now for an interview appointment it seems, and the US Interest Section sent me an email saying their 2 month timeframe posted on their site is correct…As a side-note, they also emailed me an appointment date to pick up our “Packet 3” two weeks after we had already picked it up. I’d suggest being the persistent, respectful “squeaky wheel”, and not just wait for them…I’ve heard so many instances where this approach is heard rapidly...many times favorable outcomes are within a week. I may be way off base with the IR-1/CR-1 visa, but I didn’t see or understand any different appointment procedures than that of the K-1 on the US Interest Section Havana site. The site you posted listed only one number to call (1-866-374-1769) to schedule an appointment, and one FAX number for the Cuban to schedule an appointment if they have no contacts in the US. I’m sure you could have, or have received other instructions in your IR-1/CR-1 process though. It took 5 calls to the scheduling number for me though before we got an interview date. Armed with the same information…5th time was a charm…just a different person. I got questions like…Birth date? Name, and spelling? Age (not difficult to calculate if you have a birth date)? Full Name (again!)? Passport #? Phone #? Email?...This is my experience for a K-1 visa appointment, and it seems they are far from eager to schedule us…I’m very happy I kept trying. We put other wheels into motion to please them, but ultimately they were unnecessary diversions for them…We lost probably 1-2 weeks for this. We can’t complain about this much, because we have been blessed with time in the process too. Please forgive my ignorance if I am way off base for your situation…I mean no ill will, and am just trying to pass on my much-researched impressions of my experience. Only time will tell, but the Cuba outlook looks good for all of us…albeit with some time. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Appointment Procedure For NVC-Cuba	I assume you're trying to schedule the interview using the 1-866-374-1769 number found in the link you posted. If you have your case # starting with HAV, and the Cuban has a valid passport number, you shouldn't have a problem scheduling your interview. If you still have a problem, I would call the NVC, and ask when your approved petition was forwarded to the US Interest Section in Havana. They ship using DHL, so it should take no longer than about 5 days for the US Interest Section to receive it. Call the US Interest Section back, and tell them they have your approved petition and to find it so you can schedule your interview. The NVC doesn't schedule for us, but I did read somewhere that they do in "select cases". I'd keep the heat on the US Interest section once you find NVC sent your case to Havana...NVC did their part. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	delbros--	HI. It happened to me also. What i did is call the US Embassy and ask them to send the copy of deposit slip to Delbros and at the same time, inform Robbie of Delbros that the copy of your deposit slip is already in US Embassy and you didn't fax it yet but you texted the Delbros about the deposit. Be sure to remember the bank branch and the date and time you deposited. In my case, the embassy just forward the copy of the deposit slip to Delbros and instruct them to process my document verification. Don't worry so much okay. Just do this. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	No NOA1 on I-130 after one month+	I was looking through the timelines for some of you guys, and it looks like you all got your NOA1 for the I-130 really quickly, some of you within a few days. I don't have the exact date on me at the moment, but I sent my I-130 well over a month ago, maybe even almost two months ago. My check wasn't cashed til about two weeks ago, and I still haven't gotten any sort of NOA or heard anything back from them at all. Is this normal? IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	I-130s, addresses, cleared checks	You can call your bank and most of the time they have a copy of the check either online or at the bank branch or customer service can look at the scan. They would be your best bet. Found it, thanks! "Current Status: Case received and pending. On April 27, 2007, we received this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN, and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on this notice. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. We process cases in the order we receive them. You can use our processing dates to estimate when yours will be done. This case is at our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location. Follow the link below to check processing dates." Hopefully this means they've technically given me NOA1 and not an RFE or something, because obviously I didn't ever get what they mailed. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	I-130s, addresses, cleared checks	I understand now that this is the slow season, and I'm not worried about the wait on my NOA1, however, I've heard you can get a tracking number for it to see the status online if you can get your hands on the cleared check. How do you get a copy of the cleared check? I want to get this tracking number. Also, I moved last week and I need to know how to let them know I've changed address. My husband in the UK hasn't, but will soon. So, I looked at the USCIS website and they have those change of address links, but it looks like you have to enter your case number, since it asks if you have any cases pending. My question is, do I have a case pending, or does my husband? Is this the right way to let them know I've changed address? Does anyone know if the delays have just been on the NOA1, or will it be for the NOA2 as well? I'm assuming so, since it appears to be they're just really backlogged with all of it? TSC received my I-130 forms May 12 but still my check has not been cashed or hear anything about my NOA1. Anyone else? I applied back in April, had my check cashed in May, and still have not heard anything back. You're not the only one. This sucks. We filed for my I-130 on April and still no NOA1...we call USCIS and after long time waiting on line they told us they will send us another copy. It's been more then a month! I'm start to worry about this delay!!! I'm waiting for the NOA so I can file for the I-129... Anybody else waiting since april??? IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Cosponsorship in regards to filing the CR-1	I am getting ready to file the CR-1 and I am a bit confused about whether I will need a cosponsor or show proof of income during the process? I have seen posts saying that you only have to do this when filing the K-1. I have been married since April and have held off mailing in my packet becuase I was not sure about getting a cosponsor. I am in school full time but graduate in March and will have a job. I presently have an income and have my own residence. Can anyone help me with this? However, I would give it at least 3 weeks before you get worried. Need a copy for Moscow? I don't think every Embassy/Consulate needs to see it. After all it was approved before being sent to NVC and on to the embassy. Yes, it is important you recieve it. As ridiculous as it sounds, make sure you get your NOA2 in the mail. Hello guys, ours was filed at NSC last April 10 and we dont have our NOA1 yet, just wondering what number to call? thanks Our I-129F was received at TSC on April 17th, but no NOA1 yet. I sent a money order, and it was cashed on April 26th. Do you know if they cash checks at TSC or CSC? It's comforting, however, to know that we're all in the same boat. Good luck. ours was received april 28, and we havent heard anything yet...how many days should we wait til we call them up? it seems like for us april filers, its taking us forever to get our NOA1 compared to other timelines.. does anybody have any idea whats going on with them...if u check other timelines, they usually get it within 10 days.. I think you're just in a normal time frame.....this is what the customer care says when you call, I observed that there are even March filers here who just received their NOA1 just this month....hang in there....Goodluck...
