Vietnam	Petition reaffirmed 10/12/2011	When I checked my email this morning. I got a suprise that I never expected quite so soon. Our petition was reaffirmed yesterday. I'm not sure what the normal processing time is to reaffirm a petition, but our's was done in a week. It would have been nice to be with my wife on my birthday, but I think having our petition reaffirmed will do just fine. From what I've been reading here it looks like NVC is lagging behind, and with the holiday season coming up a interview will not happen this year I am so glad to hear your good new. Vietnam	Visa sent yet???	I also am on the same boat as you, but i'm waiting for a us passport for my daughter. Pass the interview 10th of jan. Call us consulate yesterday said passport was there since the 20th of Jan. Did'nt send it to ems because of tet. Called again today, consulate said it's not there. so called ems. They said call tomorrow they should pick it up later tonight for consulate. So hoping it will be there tomorrow. Ems said they deliver in 3 days. My question is I tried tracking my package thur thier site but it dosen't work , use the number on the ems reciept. Could it be because i'm in Hue VN and its blocking certin sites in the net? i you enter the EMS receipt and the circle arrow keep turn around and stop for nothing that mean EMS has not received your visa yet. If your visa has received by EMS, the progress will show on the drop down table after the circle arrow stop. Vietnam	Visa sent yet???	my wife was approved on Jan. 17th, I guess due to the new year everything was close for a week. just wanted to know if anyone in Ho Chi Minh that pass the visa interview Jan.17 - Jan. 20 got there VISA yet??? my wife lives 4hrs south of HCM. She paid EMS the shipping cost of 170,000 DONG. I had a 10 page timeline of our relationship, letters from my work, letters of both my parents. Credit Card bill showing I paid for my own trip. He was very polite and read all 10 pages of my timeline and all the CO asked was how we met. The wait was about a total of 3Hrs, and spoke to my wife for about 5mins. My wife got visa approval on January 11. Visa has just sent out today. it is on the way to her home now. hopefully , she will get it in few hours later. Vietnam	Wife had interview today	My wife and I just finished our interview. I was with her. together they asked us a few questions and then the CO asked if I minded if she could interviewe us seperately. I agreed..no problem.. They asked her where I lived, what I liked to do. what my favorite vietnam food was, and if I liked the Coffee, and what type I drank. About 10 minutes later my wife motioned for me to join her and they asked me the same questions. Everything matched and she congradulated us. All together we in the consulate 3 hrs.... It was well worth the effort to make the trip for the interview. Thanks for the support VJ Congratulation! I am so happy for your guys. United Kingdom	Need Help filing AOS	Hello, We are attempting to file AOS on our own, but I am getting very confused with all of the paperwork. I have looked at the guides on here but it doesn't answer all of my questions: There are two forms that require two passport style photos, do two count for the whole package or do we need 4? If we are filing the I-485 at the same time as the I-765 and the I-131, do we pay the fees on all of them or are they waved for the employment authorization and advanced parole? I have read two different things here.... Also can you file the whole AOS package to the same place or are there different offices each piece has to go to? there are different addresses listed everywhere, I am very confused. United Kingdom	Green Card Interview	Well we never got an answer so here is our experience with the green card interview: We walked into the courthouse building in Santa Ana, went through a metal detector and then went upstairs to the USCIS office. We waited in a large waiting room that was very cold. They called our name after about 40 minutes and we walked down a long hallway to an office, swore in and sat down. An asian girl no older then 28 was our adjudicator. She asked us a few questions such as how did you meet, where did you meet, where did you get married, can I see pictures of your wedding......after 10 minutes she said ok you are approved!
