It's humbling ... there are many people who filed ages ago and have yet to see an approval, so while I'm happy for myself, there's some guilt there. And some of the newer posts about "how long did you know your spouse", etc. are troubling, because the intent is to start conflict about who really deserves to be approved. I thought we were all supposed to be on the same side. I was happy to read about others' approvals before I got mine, because I know what it's like to be missing my fiance. All this "legit/not-legit" relationship nonsense appearing on the boards is divisive and hurtful. Everyone's relationships here have value, whether they started in person or online, and regardless of how long someone was physically "with" their partner before engagement/marriage. We had to call the center to ask where the reciept was and apparently they didn't send any out. Shows our case is still pending, and they are working on April 12 submissions. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	I thought the long wait was over...embassy to interview	Hi Scott and Angelyn, I wish I had some words of wisdom for you....we have just sent our package back to the embassy in London and someone told me it was taking 4-6 weeks to get the interview date, 4-6 months doesn't sound quite right.....I hope someone on here has some better information for you. Canada	The Canuck EI Thread	I haven't gotten a call back yet either (on my second week of trying).  When I was trying to figure out who to call for reports, one office called me back and said that I must keep doing reports until I receive my EAD.... they gave me that 1-877 number posted on the previous page, but yeah not much luck with that.    What is the usual wait time for a call back?   Funny... I literally posted this and a few minutes later I got a call. But not from the interstate number. They called to tell me my ex-employer hasn't sent in the ROE to them yet. I ended up speaking with HR and she confirmed sending it. A few hours later, I get notice my EAD is approved and in production. I have an accepted job offer with a moving start-date. So I'm thinking there's no point in filing anymore since I can't get any funds for the last few months and when EAD is in my hands, I will begin working.	Lights	Not Telling	Canada	2014-09-15 12:14:00

I just wanted to know the process I should follow to recieve benifits due to moving to be with my Spouse but it doesnt seem like I'm going to get any answers.   This person doesn't know... when you submit your claim, there is a section that says "relocation for spouse or with spouse" or something similar to that.    What number did you call to get through??? Canada	The Canuck EI Thread	Do we mark "YES" for willing and capable of work, even though we (K1s) cannot work until receiving EAD?   I filled in my first form last weekend (online) but put "NO" because I don't move to the US until Thursday, and technically not willing to work.      I put no on my form too... Canada	The Canuck EI Thread	I was under the impression that this feature did not work for those filing an Out-of-State Claims Department (ie. those filing for benefits outside of Canada).   Maybe someone else can clarify?!   Either way - I have never needed to use an Access ID throughout this process.   Hmm... I called the voicemail number today and left a message. I just hope i'm filing it the right way. 1) termination and then if that fails or I get denied 2) relocation claim.
