Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	March 2010 I-751 Filers	How'd you mail it? Certified or Priority with delivery? Did you write: "Attention: I-751 petition to remove conditions of status" on the envelope under the address like in the guides on VJ? I can't decide if that's weird to do or not....... Liz I asked at the post office for the quickest delivery, and she said express mail and I also got it with signature. No I did not write on the envelope, in fact I had it all in a file folder not an envelope. VSC doesn't care about the date that you sign on the application, obviously. So if it makes you feel better, we can move you (or you can move yourself) and join the November people.... its your choice. Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	APRIL I-751 Filers	oh my god.... i knew something was wrong. Our entire packet got returned today with the check!!! I am so mad at myself I could scream!!!!!!!!!! They want me to send all the evidence back (nice of them to neatly pack and rubber band it together for me) along with my CORRECTED check. Do you know what I did.................... I wrote out the check I made it out to US Department of Homeland Security, wrote 545.00 in the box....... signed it......... but I FOROGT TO SPELL OUT FIVE HUNDRED and FORTY-FIVE DOLLARS and xx/100. in the second line. I am so mad at myself and in fairness, I really wish the agent at uscis would have told me on the phone. This is so unlike me to do something so stupid! I remember though that day was really really stressful and I was racing to get everything done, and I mess up the gosh dang check. arghhh. now I have no car tonight and can't mail back until tomorrow which seems like an eternity b/c we go on vacation on friday so I won't know what's going on till I get back on May 6th if we are lucky.... what horror :-( my only stupid fault. I so need a hug. And a tall glass of scotch... wait I don't like scotch... make that a pina colada. ~missingmykiwi (and apparently my brain too) Just take a deep breath, a glass of wine and fill out a new cheque and resend it off tomorrow. So silly that they can't just fill it out, but I guess it makes sense they can't. It is going to be fine, you will still be an April filer and think of it this way, you go on vacation and you don't have to worry about getting your bio letter while you are away. Philippines	a word of advice	Your right most of us are good at telling people to relax but don't do it ourselves. So all I can tell you is to keep busy that helps a bit keeps your mind occupied.
