How is florida?? its HOT! lol I haven't been posting much but I've been watching....everyone is starting to get a tad cranky with VSC all over the place with approvals. I'm hoping my NOA2 comes here soon too if it doesn't I may not get in for an interview before the end of the year which is ridiculous but with only one consulate in all of Canada I guess thats the best they can do. I've been long distance for years, so it's gotten very easy over time to not focus on being apart. You've made it this far, the rest should be easy. Take your life day by day, don't focus on the future. Enjoy your time in the present, and do things that make you happy. Work hard in school, get important things off your to-do list. Things like that. Something my mother taught me: nothing in life is permanent, and it can go as easily as it comes. If you don't make anything the centre of your universe, your life will not revolve around something that can disappear. Now, this isn't to say "stop caring about him so much" - You just have to find something which fulfills your 'soul' or wherever your identity lies - a place which is yours forever. When your life revolves around something external, the pain and disappointment that comes with it will always hit 10x harder. It's all you can think about, it turns into a weird obsession. Stay balanced, stay happy. I adopted this years ago, and separation still sucks, but I don't wallow in it. And good luck to those whose interviews are coming up. I managed to book my interview online today...November 23 in Montreal. Anyone else here have an interview that same day? My interview will come at the same time that Tim is scheduled for 2 weeks holidays, so he'll be driving up to be with me for the interview. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	March 2010 filers - Vermont Service Center	Hi to all my fellow March filers. We got our NOA2 on June 10. My interview will be in Montreal. Tim hasn't called yet to see if the application has reached NVC. I'm just wondering what are the chances it's already in Montreal? I've heard that I can contact Montreal by email to see if it's there. There was a case number with the NOA2 letter that Tim received, starting with "MTL." Would that be the number I need when emailing Montreal? Anybody got that email address by the way? I was visiting Tim for the summer but had to return a couple weeks ago for my sister's funeral. I'd like to resume my visit to the States if my interview isn't coming up too soon. No sense going down there then have to turn around and come back for the interview. *yawnnnnnnnnn*....time for bed. The worst thing about this is the rediculous system in which they are being processed - I mean come on FEB PEOPLE ARE GETTING THERES without even bothering to complete january's or even some decembers! - good for them but I hardly deem that to be proper conduct on behalf of the uscis! Fingers crossed extra hard for myself and everyone that this unjustice doesn't continue for much longer Yeah I agree. I could see it for the 'few' that require extra processing or security checks but it seems MANY are not processed in order nor does there seem to be any reason for it. I also don't understand how every once in awhile you'll see a case that for no reason at all (not expedited) gets approved in an unbelievably short time compared to everyone else with the same filing time. They sent out a letter confirming the address change the say and then we were touched on Sept 2nd. Nothing since then and when we had called we were told that we hadn't even been assigned to anyone yet. So he/she was telling me to check the status of a case I can't see on the website plus they already approving people from June... and many many from mid/late May... so I am happy that a lot of people are being approved, but with the same token... I don't understand what is so complicated about my case that has not been approved yet...and I could not even imagine how the people who filled in March, April, etc...are coping with this annoying experience, which is just one of at least 4 different processes. .. but hopefully I am wrong... today is just a bad/frustrating day... I thought it was because we called and then the next day I could see it online. I was disappointed to see someone else say they could finally see theirs that day too and theirs was approved! First call they say they can't change it over the phone and then the next time she says she will change it over the phone....and this was an actual immigration officer we spoke to each time because the first level couldn't even see us in the system. Yesterday we phoned because we changed the beneficiary's address but hadn't heard nothing about it. They told us that it hadn't been updated as of yet and also hadn't been been assigned to an immigration officer but that she would send a request to the helpdesk to get it in the system.
