crying.gif Oh little Sunshine girl. {{HUGS}} It's going to be okay. I really don't think it's going to be six months. It's just hard to be back in that black hole of waiting with no control or way to check. Such a disappointment for you. So tell us how the birth certificate problems went. What did they say about that?

The interview officer looked over it and I explained what had happened. He didn't comment much on it, but then, he was this grey-haired guy with a moustache who didn't smile or anything when I was chattering about Knight or when I asked him how he was. He just said that he'd be back, went away for a few minutes, came back and gave me the news. Knight keeps trying to reassure me that it's just one more obstacle but it just hurts so much that this is something else which has been put in front of me. I don't even know what it is they're going to look at or for what reason they're going to keep me waiting. I just have this horrible blue piece of paper which feels like a suckerpunch.

Magpie sad.gif .

OMGosh I am devastated for you. (((((Magpie))))) I felt sure with all your prepararation and organisation your were worrying for no reason and you would breeze through. I was praying and hoping you would be approved. If you need to talk I understand, I KNOW what you are feeling, the tears for me went on for days.

I am thinking of you and sending all good thoughts your way. Come join the AP tracker in the waivers forum, there are others there to support you too. rose.gif

I guess I am even more distressed now too hearing AP is averaging 6 months, they told me two weeks, but its almost four now since the call.

Right, well i've been mulling this over for the last hour........

I've had the text from the couriers - it's coming tomorrow.

Didn't know if it would be tempting fate or not by revealing this info, but as I haven't heard anything from the doctors or the embassy, then I am sincerely hoping that this is the visa arriving. They did say pending the results of the medical, so fingers crossed.

No internet at the parents (where it's being delivered), but hopefully this time tomorrow-ish, I shall be approved without conditions.

Did you call DOS they will be able to confirm it.

Hi all just some info for those who haven't recently joined us. You can email USE London without the code from the extortion line. You will get an email saying it has been deleted but it hasn't.

I would not necessarily encourage everyone to email without the code, especially if you have pressing need, however before I was placed in AP I would email placing my LND number and John & my names in the subject line. I always got the deleted response but then always got a response to the email anyway.

Its not an automated response, its manually sent. My normal experience is between 15 mins and 4 hours. Don't worry too much it will take them a little while for them to catch up on all the emails sent over night.

Your NOA2 may expire, but the CO has discretionary powers to extend it. Don't stress. To make sure our Lawyer got John to write a new affidavit of intent to marry along with a request to extend.

MARM its not whether you are returning from where you came which is important it is whether you have a ticket showing you are departing from the UK. So an onward ticket to Pakistan would show that.

They told me at the interview I was approved pending the supply of my Australian Police Certificate. Congratulations and welcome to America, but now they are taking back my approval, John has been in touch with the Lawyer and his Congressman and both are now contacting the US Ambassador. They think the US Embassy has messed up, they should never said approved pending the police certificate and then decide to put me into AP, the lawyer is very confident, but who knows, I'm too scared to put my faith in anything cause I'm not sure how long I can keep on taking the hits.

I'm heading back to Edinburgh in the morning, I have been down here since Tuesday, mind you I can't stop crying. And ironically I am always the positive one but I can't be now, John is now in that role.

I went to college in NY early 90's my dad stopped his part of the financial support so I could no longer maintain my enrolment, the college did what they had to do and reported I was no longer a student, meaning I was on an overstay and I got a letter to report to the office in Buffalo. They issued me an EAD and I was given a time frame to leave the country. I left well within the time frame. But it turns out at that meeting was actually deportation proceedings and I was actually officially arrested. Call me naive and stupid I am calling myself a lot worse.

I told the lawyer what happened but when they filled out the forms the omitted the above part from the documentation.

The Embassy called me today and asked me questions re the above and said my credibility had now been called into question, I tried to explain it best I could, but it is over 15 years ago and my memory of the details is not great, I'd forgotten I had been finger printed until this moment in time.

So now they are requesting the supporting documentation from Washington and that could take a couple of weeks. In the mean time they have kept my passport. I am going to return to Edinburgh tomorrow and wait, I guess.

I can't stop crying, I am so scared as to what this means.

No news unfortunately though John did get told off by DOS for calling too much. We call twice a day, once when they open and the second after the UK closes.

Lets just say I had a small melt down when he told me.

I have mine on Friday and now on permanent panic mode, feel sick with worry, oh well not long to go and I will find out

If I'm still stuck here on Friday I'll come be a buddy on the line outside if you want.

I actually went there today, I know sad. I was on the phone to John and as I have heard they can monitor telephone calls I made him say our LND number whilst I recited our full names and dobs.

But no luck.

Thanks Nich-Nick I must have been channelling you by ESP.

I nearly missed the train to London, stupid taxi driver. girlwerewolf2xn.gif Made it by the skin of my teeth they were kind enough to let me get all my bags on and then started shutting the door BEFORE I got on. I'm embarrassed to say literally howled with despair, however that did get their attention.

After waiting 2 hours for a call back I called them and they had no record of my previous call. Or that's what she said after putting me on hold. Thanks for the DOS suggestion I was with you there I have been calling DOS 2, 3 times a day. So I had already paid for pre 12:00 delivery, I didn't know there was pre 8:00 before I went to the website, so now I have paid for that, here is the kicker no discount for the £5.90 I had already paid. But still a little more peace of mind.

I think I am so over wrought cause the hits just seem to keep coming. John feels sure something has to go right soon.

Now for a little Monty Python ....Always look on the bright side of life di do di do di do di do..........

I AM SO PISSED OFF.

Trying to change the delivery address to where I am staying in London. Happens to be the Yotel in terminal 4 which is public access, but the retards at SMS don't know if they can deliver it there and are going to ask the embassy.

And they then told me all deliveries from the Embassy to the passport holder are always next day. WHAT THE HECK. Then he said they only take a day to pick-up & deliver to the embassy!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok so our plans may have fallen in a heap.

My Passport and docs got picked up Tuesday but only made it to the Embassy today!!!!! I called Secure Courier and they said 'Well you don't live in London what did you expect?' If I had of known that I would of taken it to London myself!!!!! girlwerewolf2xn.gif

The USE said give it 5 days once I sent it off, but I don't know how that will be possible now. And to top it off we did the big no-no and booked a ticket before we had the visa crying.gif

Does anyone know if you can pick it up yourself?

We had no pay stubs. The evidence of wages was on the bank statements.

All that happened was just before I left the Interview guy took a sideways glance at my folder and smiled.
