Morning/afternoon May
Well its Friday already and still no NOA2 for any of us!

Gordon do you remember what you said last week? I think it had something to do with dance moves!

Melannie
How are you feeling sweetie?

Morning Ana!!!!!!!

Hi Alex

I'm a little discouraged by the USCIS and am missing John like crazy. But work has finally got busy so my mind is occupied at least 6 - 7 hours a day.

How you doing?

Thats why we finally decided to have 2 weddings, one civil ceremony right away, another for family in Sept 09. Yet Melannies family still pesters with questions she cannot know the answer to. I just dont tell family or friends ANYTHING to discourage questions or discussion.

thats a pretty one and yours is smart. i'd like ours to match in a set somehow, either being the same design or part of a pair. we seem to be drawn to the celtic designs too. its the metal thats stumping us. Vito really want titainium but i'm worried about the not able to resize thing and now i'm unsure if the metals properties are really what we think they are or if we are being mis informed
unsure.gif unsure.gif

I don't know too much about metals, but I would suggest you be careful with sizing, esp if you get something that cant be resized. Melannies set has been sized twice now because international sizes dont always correspond

Well I can tell you from working in IT, that computer malfunctions can really hurt your progress...for example, for my company, if one of the servers goes down that controls the process of picking, packing, and shipping product - 1 DC down for 1 hour can result in 10+ MILLION DOLLARS lost of revenue...

So if they're having some problems with their computer it can slow the process down, BUT! I'm sure we'll see some approvals going through....150,000 is a large number...i wonder on the accuracy of that...especially in just the I-129f grouping only.

and John, if you wish to get rid of a stubborn cow, I wouldn't mind some steak! rofl.gif

lol, there was one cow, a real she-devil, when i was a kid, we called her Sparky. She kicked, crapped on you whenever she got the chance, and was always getting the whole herd agitated because while she was a small cow, she was an awful bully. She caused so much trouble, when it was time for her to leave, we had her made into hamburger for us--and did she ever taste good:)

btw--Sarah's drawings are really good. I'd love to be able to do a thing like that.

My grandpa milked a variety of the " elephants" you mention, and we still have one cow family in our herd of them. Elephant is a very fitting description. What you call friesan is also very popular here, 99% of farms have those. We call them Holstiens.

I've been looking at your clothing, it is so very cool that you can make things like that. I know Melannie will be very interested to look at it all as well. My mom and sister sometimes make clothes so I know how much work it can be. I cant imagine what it must be to come up with the pattern and everything.

funny you mention that cos theres is a program on tv at the mo with a famous tv small holding farmer going round the country looking at our farming. in devon they said they get something 70p a gollon or if they turn it into devonshire ice cream they can charge £6 a gallon, wow what a difference. we are also seeing a lot ofspeciall rare breeds being the new thing so the farmer has a gimmic. i dont know if you are getting that in the usa. but one farmer in devon has the last milking heard of the native local cow instead of the big black and white one. he used to have the other but he said while the black and white make more milk its not as nice quality. so he went back to the brown elephant or what ever wierd name he called it

We do get a bit of premium because we milk jersey cows

http://www.ansi.okst.../cattle/jersey/

which produce more butter cream etc per gallon, but it only comes to .35 cents a gallon etc, plus a tiny bonus for hormone free milk, less than a penny per gallon.

Melannie talks about the show you mention all the time, its her favorite.

We're taking it easy on the living front, just getting a nice little apartment, so we can save up...plus teaching her how to drive (SCARY!).

And I love her to death, she's not so girlie in fashion, but you get her talking about comic books? Somehow today we got on the topic of Marvel Heroes....it was innocent enough, just a casual mention....4.5 hours she went on about it. "Oh I need to find a comic shop when I get there!" and "There's a Comic Con there in october!" and the like...lol....I don't know anything about comics, but oh well she gets to deal with my football obsession!

Speaking of which, John you wouldn't happen to be a football would you? *hopeful!*

As far as I'm aware, you can't go for your medical until you have packet 3 and the instuction to do so.

My Fiance is here next week for a couple of weeks....I hope we get to celebrate then! heart.gif

Depending on your country your medical has a 6 or 12 month expiry period. So you may be able to go for it before you recieve packet 3.

Its seems that there is nothing left to say until USCIS updates.... except WHY have there been so few approvals in the last 2 weeks!!!!!! mad.gif

there has been at leat 12 approval reports over the last two weeks which happened over the last three weeks if that makes sence unsure.gif prob is we had more newbies join that approvals, but hopefully this week will show an improvement i hope innocent.gif

I really wanted to break that 100 mark this week, or at least be in the very near vicinity. It seemed likely last Monday, but today, I am really starting to doubt it. crying.gif I console myself with the fact that within a month, we wont be on Igors list kicking.gif At least, I hope not unsure.gif

i sent them a message on theri profile congradulating them and asked them if they minded telling me if it was nromal processing or expidite, even invited them to this thread so hopefully they will reply and let us know. i know what you mean dairyfarmer, being that they are the last two weeks of may, it seems too good to be true yet its soo close to our months turn who knows. glo and cole got aproved extreamly early like two weeks due to their rfe, so who knows. maybe this means they have dished out our months already. good.gif

I've also found out over the time I've been here quite a few don't have accurate timelines. I have no idea why.
Oh and Hannah its Melannie talking at least for the next hour or so. wink.gif

I have no clue why either, unsure.gif

welcome bk to the crazy pot melanie innocent.gif

Thanks Hannah

Yeah, me too, that would be sooooooo awesome if they're onto May. I thought they didn't do expiditing anymore, or do you mean for some sort of emergency circumstance?

yep emergencies, military deployment etc, there are some still. Just not the paid ones like for working visa's
