I have awaken from a drug induced state, sorta... who knew 100 migs of seroquel can make you party with the dead . I think I am going to have my doc reduce the dosage just a bit . and no charles, I did not have insomnia, more like superhypermeganocturnalsomnia...whew... I took the meds at noon yesterday and had bouts out incoherent wakenings, due to satiation , when that was satisfied and my kids got a good laugh at me not being in total control, they ushered me back to bed. I'm still enebriated , so I can't drive to get some milk, eggs, bread, juice, ice cream or fruit . aarrrgghhhhh, this suxx . but anywho, thanx for the support and as you all were.... Good morning everyone. Sorry I've been missing for a bit. We had our wedding reception and I had visitors in my home. (not my all time favorite) I took Ambien about 4 years ago. Got rid of my ex husband and most of my physical illnesses cleared up. (hospitalized four times in 2005) I was diagnosed with post traumatic stress disorder. He and the issues that came with him was the stressor. I'm a lot healthier now. Oddly, I've already become accustomed to sleeping with Bassi next to me. When he's not there, it's harder to fall asleep. I've slept alone for 6 years. I thought it would be hard to go back to sharing my bed. But I was obviously wrong. hehehe...bwahahahahaha....whewwww, okay. but damn LOL alright, regainining my composure:::sniggles:::: first off, good mawnin' all y'all!!! wish me luck, hopefully my doc will not tell me the obvious (stress induced life style, my mind doesn't know how to shut off @ night, I need to have an orgasm...whoopsie ..ahem, I need to fix my hormonal shift) and she will be able to assist me in getting reregulated. either way, I will keep you guys in the loop . enjoy your day and smile for the hellovit UNO	Simply_Uno	Female	0	2008-07-28 09:46:00

Anyhoo...u aint alone girlfriend! Not all meds will effect everyone the same. There are several other sleep meds out there too. I tried everything before I resorted to the Ambien...I had to do something, it was affecting my life too much. Hope you find a remedy! I feel yur pain!.... Peace. Eb Hey Ebony, I have not tried ambien or lunesta, have tried seroquel and it works wonders (i.e. I can sleep very soundly), but there are drawbacks. The sedation lasts way into the next evening after taking it, day time jitters, excessive hyper somnia, and etc. Mind you, I'm on the lowest dose available . As far as stress is concern, I can't imagine life with out any . I would just be beside myself without good ol' stress lingering close by . Yeah, about your doc telling you what you already knew, you should've asked for a refund for that portion of the consultation . And as far as a man is concerned, can't live with'em and you....can't live with'em . I really appreciate every's empathy towards my plight. I wish I could just bake each and everyone of you guys a "red velvet cake" to show my gratitude. But because I can't....they sell'em at your local grocers (hahahaha). I watch t.v. until t.v. goes off, watch cable until infomercials come on, to tired to clean and do my nails, eeek, whats that and then half sleep during the day, tired in the evening and awake all night long I don't like medications, but my doc asked me to try Ambien, and wow, that stuff had me sleep-walk eating every night. I would wake up in the mornings with crumbs on my lips and horrible tastes in my mouth, not knowing what-the-heck I had eaten and when I had eaten it. It was the strangest thing.....And at times, I would be so euphoric and elated that my family thought I was on drugs (the illegal kinds).Then, I would be so down and depressed. It was as if Ambien was making me temporarily bipolar (BUT I WAS A SLEEPING GOOD ). the side effects you mentioned are the major ones addressed in the commercial, no thanx, I already have a good ol' african american appetite:::sucks teeth:::::: I chose to stop taking the meds. I'm still in search of a natural cure. In the meantime, I've got many books, lots of tivo shows, lots of VJ reading and an African Prince that I am trying to help get across the ocean to help rock me to sleep every night for the rest of my life. been there and done that, no avail I pray that you are able to find the best way that is going to work for YOU to be able to get regular sleep. (Black might not crack, but wrinkles DO crinkle). I need my beauty rest! holla!!!!! Stevi I do thank you for your wisdom observations and words of encouragement.
