Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	I-751 May 2012 Filers	When you get an RFE, do they ask for specific stuff or do you send more recent documents along with the previously sent ones? What we received had a general list of evidence required to prove a relationship, but they also stated what we sent that needed additional documentation on. For example, I was uncomfortable about sending my entire bank statements for our account so I only sent the first page which has our names, and the account information. USCIS requested that we send the complete statement so they could see it was an active account and they wanted generally one statement per quarter we were married. From talking with the officer, they say that the decision to accept early walk-ins depends upon how busy they are for the day and how many inspectors are scheduled to work that day. Thank you We mailed the pkge on May 18 to CA. It was delivered on May 21. Haven't received anything from USCIS nor they haven't cash our check. we are worry because my GC expired on 6/17. That does bring up a question. What if the GC expires before the NOA1 is processed even though the papers were sent in plenty of time? Philippines	Blended Family (step-parents/stepchildren)	We are a blended family also. I have a boy and girl and she has a daughter. For me there was never an issue of mine or hers. Her daughter is as much my daughter as if she was of my blood. And I guess the feeling is mutual for on my birthday, Lera told me that she did not see me as her step-father but as her father. My daughters behave as sisters for good and bad. As for my son, he saw it as an invasion and moved out soon after they arrived. The only advice I can give is talk to your husband. If he is willing to be your daughter's father, he should step up and make sure that the children are treated equally and if the problem is between the children, he should talk to all of them as spell out the rules. I know that we will need to have her divorce decree translated but the guides say also any documents that identify a name change. I just got confirmation that our I-129f packet was received, so I decided to look at my papers again, and realized that in the place where I was supposed to put my middle name, I only placed my initial. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	How to go on...	The hardest part was getting on the plane to leave Oksana. If not for my responsibilities here I would still be in Ukraine. Every day I had sang for her (at her request), and trust me I have a voice that makes an Alley cat go WTH!!! Since then I have dived head first into this nightmare called the K-1Visa process and preparing the home and children for the new additions to our family. We send IMs almost everyday and on Weekends are Skype video calls. It's not the same as being there, but it does help with the longing. As has been suggested find something to occupy your time and keep busy. It won't lessen the missing but it will help occupy your mind so that you do not dwell on it as much. Your fiancee should be covered on your work insurance account as soon as you get the appropriate papers to your Benefits Manager. Also the Vaccinations will not be needed before filing the AOS, it just needs to be done before the AOS medical. So breath deep and relax. And good luck on the interview. He works 40 qualifying quarters ( which IS NOT the same as being here 10 years) The spouse's work history from the time of green card issuance also contributes to the qualifying hours, so if both work full time, after 5 years this criteria is met. Tammy,   Ignore the "Doom and Gloom"ers here.  From what you have said, there shouldn't be any effects on a K-1.  You did not come to the US on a B2 visa with intent to get married.  You have visited sites in the US, just because you did this with your boyfriend now fiancee does not invalidate your statements about tourism.   You have nothing to worry about.  Heck, there are people here who came to just visit the US on VWP and ended up getting married.  So you really have nothing to worry about.   BTW Congratulations on your engagement. IMHO she was already pretty fluent, but wanted to practice up. What city is she in? She lives in Berdyansk. The problem is that she is working 60+ hours a week with no end in sight as well as taking care of her daughter. So we are looking for something she can do in her free hours to help strengthen her vocabulary.
