Thanks for keeping my oh-so-secret identity secret . lovesherhubby- I never received e-mails saying that I was touched or anything like that. One of the times that I had called to re-correct my NOA1, they told me that they had sent an e-mail to me about it. Uhhh....nope, they didn't send me any e-mail until the NOA2 in my junk mail . The touches, like Josh said are the "last updated" on the other page of your profile that has your case number (not the one with the blue circles). Good luck to everyone! It used to be a month to get through from case number assigned to case complete. Now it is taking longer than that by about a month (give or take some days). No. That is recommended, well you already answered your question. If you just started a new job in 2009 or there is any reason why your case might be a little different...then that is mostly why those other things are recommended. If you choose not to send things in that are extra, that is up to you. While NVC is picky about things that don't match up, they seem to be just as picky about not enough information. I would rather have it all handed in instead of finding on interview day that I should've done it before and now my loved one can't come here as soon as I had planned. But of course, that is just me. I also tend to think I have not the greatest luck and I'd rather arm myself with every thing I need ahead of time. There are cases where your way will work just fine and some where it will not. I agree that the more prepared you are now for the next stage, the less chance you have of "Uhhh...what....did I just read...what is DS3032? Where is mine? Wait....what do I do after that? When do I pay this bill? Wait? AHHHHHH!" That NOA2 is really nice but comes with a memory eraser for some (myself included...those were some crazy times I had .) You don't need much luck for a potluck. as long as you invite people who bring yummy foods and not things you don't like to eat, you should be good! What are you bringing? See...this is what we should do! We should have a potluck on Tom's massive land and go kayaking after we all finish! Since I'm taking forever....you all have to wait for me! MUAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Part of that might have to do with the new fees that are going into their system. I wouldn't doubt it if they have a bit of trouble for a short while after tomorrow trying to work out the kinks. Middle East and North Africa	RFE!	Believe it or not, this wasn't Casablanca, this was Missouri. Jenn, did you send your 2005 taxes to them with your package? I didn't think it was necessary so early in the year, but I guess I found out it was. I guess they're rewriting the tax code too - taxes are now to be filed before filing your AOS. You're right Aymerlu, I want a job where I can rewrite whatever law it suits me to rewrite. Still, I guess I should be happy, they actually communicated with me which seems to be more than most offices people on here are dealing with are capable of. I'll believe it. We got an RFE after our case was transferred to CSC. Same thing, employment information and proof of address change, although neither of us moved anywhere. o.O I'm guessing they have a tendency to lose things in the mail or whichever.
