IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	March 2010 CR1 filers	Tom- Sorry to burst your bubble but unless you have been married to your lovely spouse for 2 years by the time she steps foot on U.S. soil, you will have to do ROC (Removal of Conditions) 30 days before the 2 year mark of her visa stamp . Maybe we can all meet up again and have ROC parties . russ and mary- I hope you can get your NOA2 soon and that your little family can be reunited quickly! anthonyddiggs1- You are so close to Laguna Niguel, you should just drive there and demand the NOA2! The e-mail to send it to is NVCInquiry@state.gov . unclebilly- Congrats on the NOA2! NVC will not contact you. You "get" to contact them by calling 1-603-334-0700. It is taking around a week to two weeks for the AVR to have the case number (from your NOA2 date). So since you got the NOA2 on the 16th, it might be there as soon as yesterday or maybe it will be there by next Friday. The line is almost always busy so don't give up. Once you get your case number, make sure to speak to an operator and give them your e-mail address and your wife's e-mail address. This will speed things along. . Good luck with everything! Instead of 7-10 days it is seeming more like 14 days. See, at least you don't have to wait 2 weeks to get the case number. Some of your time was "cut out" by not getting the notice until now. The automated system might tell you that your case was approved or that your case was received on such and such a date. The USCIS operators like to tell you that they can't tell you much as the beneficiary but I'm sure if you tell them that your husband is deployed, they should be able to help you out. .
