Aww thanks John! I'm waiting right now for my husband to get online. I told him yesterday to bring his passport so that he can scan it. I wonder if he will remember? :P

Thanks John! I'm sure everyone would love to get me out of their hair :). I will be super happy if we can make an October interview.

Hopefully next week we will see more happy people with the NOA2's. C'mon USCIS, be kind to those waiting for good news!

John- My husband won't even be able to work on his paper collection until July 12th. Then he will have to wait another week or so to get the other documents (July 19th at least). Then another 2 weeks (August 4th ish) to get them here. That is if he doesn't take anymore delays in the process.
On the other hand, I have yet to hear a response from my possible AOSer because they haven't received their tax transcripts yet (should be there by July 14th. Hopefully I will get a yes for that situation finally!

russ and mary- Hello.

Happy 4th of July to everyone that is celebrating!

Good one rvince! It is much better to get a hold of all of that now before you get the NOa2 and your brain falls out of your head! If you think you are losing it now...wading through all of that paperwork later on is too much!

No problem! NVC seems to be a more confusing stage than helpful while USCIS seems to just make people impatient. Which is the lesser of the two? Maybe NVC thinks that if you have come this far, you can read between their lines and make sense of their "this could have 100,000 answers," questions.

The whole process should come with a warning label of possible health hazards like anxiety and depression and loss of hair (due to be so frustrated and ripping it all out). I guess a good "pill" for those would be VJ. Side effects of VJ are: making new friends, helping other people out, having others help you out, feeling at ease, schooling your spouse on the visa process, and lack of sleep (due to checking all the time).

I was gone for almost 3 hours and a few more pages added on here. I am glad that the conversation is flowing and that everyone is getting involved in helping others out. :goofy: I would read something and think, "Ok, this is what I will say...oh. Nevermind, so and so answered that already." Good good.

I hope tomorrow USCIS will push more people into NVC. I second what Tom said. Please let us know what happens in the next part of your journey and don't forget about the rest of everyone else.

It would be so nice if we could just e-mail everything is like GUZ and MON and the Turkmenistan Embassies. That would save much time and money for sure. I hear you Rich with having to have everything take a while to receive and then sent up to you. Then again, since we are all in the same boat, it sucks about as equally for all of us. Except, of course, our Indian friends who have to wait for a special paper requesting they send in a form that they didn't send in because they couldn't send it in. How much sense does that make??!?!?!

Best of luck to everyone!

John- I hope you don't get an RFE! Those proofs are extra. I sent pics of us printed on regular paper- lame, I know. I will take the good stuff to the interview. :P. I sent some other things too but nothing special. I guess our daughter's birth cert is what saved us. Please USCIS, don't give my good buddy John an RFE!

Oh snow pony1076! Your husband not being employed shouldn't be the cause for the RFE. I was unemployed when I sent in the app. Do you know what all he sent in? I hope it is just a small thing that can be fixed quickly! That is now 2 Marchers with RFE's. Boo USCIS!!!!

JinyAndJony- I hope you get some good newssssss here soon!

C'mon USCIS. I'd like to see my fellow Marchers and Marchettes get through NVC before I do.

I know (as of yesterday) that I have to wait until July 12th for my husband to be able to start getting the rest of his documents ready (then another couple of week to finish getting his papers and then another few weeks to receive them in the mail). I should be waiting anywhere from July 7th to July 12th for the AOSer to get their tax stuff. This means that for the people who already have their NOA2's, you all will be zooming right on past me. Those who get their NOA2 on July 12th or before will zoom past me as well. Those who are after July 12th might be my NVC buddies. I hope to see everyone through NVC and on to their interviews with their happy moments of approvals!

The quickest way through NVC(for people who can't do Electronic Processing) is to be ready to go with all of your paperwork and send it off as soon as you are able to (after having paid the bills). There are times where you just have to wait during NVC. A month isn't so bad compared to the possible 5/6 months for an NOA2. This stage goes by fast so get ready (especially since you have something to do besides wait the whole time)!

C'mon more approvals from USCIS!

Don't worry about touches. I didn't have any before my NOA2 (right before I mean. The ones I had were related to me harassing USCIS about the incorrect NOA1 sitch). If USCIS keeps working like they did last week, you should hear something within the next 2 weeks or so.

ak205-My case won't be complete for another few months at least. I still have to get a co-sponsor (I have to wait for the 1st one to tell me that they can't (waiting on them to receive tax documents in the mail)/won't do it) and then I am still waiting on my husband's papers (which will be anywhere from a month to a month and a half.
