Tom, of course I will give the "this is what I did" for you all. Here...this is what the first e-mail says:

Dear Sir/Madam,

The attached correspondence relates to an immigrant visa referenced on the subject line. This case is being processed by the National Visa Center. Please read the information carefully and follow the instructions.

This e-mail is sent by: The U.S. Department of State's National Visa Center, located at 32 Rochester Avenue, Portsmouth NH 03801. Please DO NOT REPLY to this e-mail.

Then it has the DS3032 form attached and some other blah blah blah stuff. The second e-mail has that as well when you open it. The attachments are as follows:

Dear CUELLAR WELCH, ALIX MARIE:
The immigrant visa petition filed on behalf of VINCENT OMAR CUELLAR LIZANO has arrived at the
National Visa Center (NVC) for processing. Our records indicate that the current address of the principal
applicant is:
V. O. C. L.
HIS ADDRESS
If this address is not correct, send the correct address to the National Visa Center (NVC) immediately.
You must pay the Affidavit of Support (AOS) fee ($70.00) before we can begin processing your petition.
Payment Instructions:
1. DO NOT send fee payments to the National Visa Center's Portsmouth, New Hampshire facility.
This will DELAY procesing of the visa petition.
2. Go to www.ImmigrantVisas.state.gov and click the "Fee Collection" link, then the "Online
Payment" link, and then follow the instructions displayed.
3. Three days after making your online payment, you must:
a. Return to the Online Payment website to view your payment receipt, which will give you
instructions for the next step. You can print a copy for your records. DO NOT send a copy to
the NVC.
b. Print a "Document Cover Sheet" for each fee paid, or save a PDF copy to print later.
c. Go back to the receipt page and click the "Go to Affidavit of Support Processing Instructions"
link.
__
__
__
Payers who are unable to pay online must follow alternative payment instructions. Go to
www.ImmigrantVisas.state.gov and click the "Fee Collection" link, then the "Alternative Payment
Method" link, and then follow the directions displayed.
Important Notes:
1. If the applicant intends to adjust status with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services
(USCIS), please contact the NVC before making any payments or taking further action.
2. If a period of one year passes without communication to the NVC, all documents and fees expire
and must be resubmitted to resume the immigration process.
3. Children who pass 21 years of age after the petition was originally approved by the USCIS become
ineligible to accompany or join the applicant(s) immigrating to the United States under the original
petition. In some situations, the Child Status Protection Act (CSPA) may allow children to remain
eligible beyond 21 years of age. If you believe that the CSPA applies to this case, please send a
detailed explanation to the NVC. We will forward it to the U.S. Embassy/Consulate General for a
decision.
Sincerely,
Director
National Visa Center

That is one page.

Apparently none of you believe me when I say that I have no AOSer as of right now nor do I have the documents for the DS230. I am still light years away. How on earth could I leave you lovely people behind (even if I had everything ready to go)? We will for sure be in the same NVC group. Paying the bills is the easy part. Thanks for the congrats though. I'm sure I will be congrats-ing you all soon on the happy NOA2's!

The from e-mail address is: NVCInquiry@state.gov and the subject is your case number followed by their own code. It shows that there is an attachment.
The e-mail also shows up as being from "NVC Inquiry".

I just put in my payment for the AOS fee. So maybe next week that will have gone through and I will have my IV bill to pay. Sweet!!!

-Oh. Part of their special code on both of my e-mails is STD jijijijijij.

Oh, btw, I found where the IIN is. I apparently was so "happy" from the e-mail that I failed to notice that there were 3 more pages to scroll through. I found a post on here that said that the number is at the end of the document. THANKS!!!! :).

Senior...this is what the 1st thing says for JI: "a clandestine group of southeast Asian terrorists organized in 1993 and trained by al-Qaeda : supports militant Muslims in Indonesia and the Philippines and has cells in Singapore and Malaysia and Indonesia."

Did you just call me an Asian terrorist?

Well...actually...the DS3032 hasn't been accepted yet. Once that is accepted, I will be sent the IV bill. So maybe soon. Seriously. I got the 2 e-mails and thought, "Oh no! What am I supposed to do again? I go online and pay them right? Wait. I need to have my IIN. Where is it? I don't see it. Ack! Let me go check VJ just to be sure." I still don't have the IIN/can't find it. It is supposed to be with the AOS fee bill e-mail but I don't see it. They send you e-mails which get sent to your junk e-mail especially if you use hotmail. Also, they send the "sensetive info" in an attachment so hotmail makes you jump through some hoops to open this. When I say open, I mean save the document. It wouldn't let me open the document. Maybe all of this just gets sent to me as JUNK! I'll be happy to see what everyone else's experiences are.

By the time my things get in order, some of us will be on the same page of having the AOS bill paid and sending off the I-864. Makes me kinda mad. That part has nothing to do with my husband/him sending me anything. I feel like a failure right now. *Sigh. I shall call the possible AOSer tonight when I get home.

Tom, you are slightly older than he would've been this year. Thanks for the sharing of your life. Sorry for your loss. I hope this marriage is the last one for you as well. After reading a post about "how to let your fiance know that she will be ok in the U.S." (I've talked about this before with some one else as well) I realized that it doesn't matter how well you get along on foreign turf because you will have to start all over once your spouse comes to the U.S. They had some great advice in that post. It made me sad to think of everything that will be different but I know that it will be worth it for both of us. *Sigh. Anyway, I guess I should focus on something else. Maybe if I ever get my husband here, I will show him exactly what all it is that I did for him to be able to come here. It might be easier to digest once everything is done with. Man that post made me sad :crying: . I just want to curl up with my husband now...stupid and beneficial post  !!!!!

Moving on...I hope everyone has a good weekend no matter where they spend it.

Divina- There isn't an $80 biometrics fee for the CR1 visas...so that is good news for your budget!!! As for the $400 NVC visa fee...that you will pay after you get your NOA2 but more specificly, if you read this guide, you will see when you have to pay this fee:

http://www.visajourn...he_NVC_ShortCut

There aren't any other fees until you get to the embassy and get your approval notice. Then you will have to pay the courier fee. Other than that, the rest of the costs are just one like you said, the mail and airline tickets and other fun blah blah.

I hope that helps you.

Tom- You are sweet! How many times have you been married (if you don't mind me asking). I am very lucky with my husband as there are times when he seems to be the one who hit the jackpot and when it seems like I've hit the jackpot. We all have out strenghts. I couldn't have married you anyway because if you real name is truely Tom, that is also my father's name...so...no.

Apparently we have to wait until Monday for more celebration. C'mon Monday with the approvals for Marchers (plus John)!

P.S. I know you didn't say you'd marry me, don't worry, I'm not that delusional.

So, I talked to my husband this morning who is working on his certificates that I need. He asked me, "So what was that you were saying the other day about e-mail?" I told him that I had sent him an e-mail to send off to NVC. "To what?" he asked. "To the NVC," I said. "Can we just wait until I get done with these papers and then you tell me. All of this is confusing me!" he said.

Hahahaha...see....if you aren't doing it first hand, it is confusing because there are parts for everyone. :). Made me kind of laugh. Poor guy. I told him not to worry about it because I already sent the e-mail but if that didn't work then I will wait until he is done with the papers on his end and have him send it.

I'm still waiting for my AOSer to get back to me. *Sigh.

I'm pretty sure you need the barcoded pages for your I-864 and DS230. They show that you paid the fee so that you can send in your respective packages:

10. Send in I-864 AOS Package to NVC

When status of the AOS shows as PAID (online): Print the barcode and include it in your AOS package which are:

* BARCODED Cover Sheet (to be printed from web when your status is PAID online for AOS bill)

b. Send your IV Package (USPS Express mail gives tracking and essentially insures delivery)

Below are the package contents:

* BARCODED Cover Sheet (to be printed from web when your status is PAID online for IV bill)

The DS3032 doesn't have a fee attached to it so the barcoded sheet isn't necessary for the e-mail and is for the hard copy DS3032. Since you are sending it in, why not print out that extra free sheet anyway?

-That is on top of writing the case number in the upper right hand corner of all of the sheets. I would put a post-it on your documents with the case number so that the NVC doesn't get mad about non-official writing on legal documents. No need for an RFE.

Anthony, I didn't receive anything else from NVC beside my case number. The barcode sheet for DS3032 would be for one you are mailing in. I still am waiting (all of today :P) for the DS3032/AOS Fee Bill from NVC. I think I should see it by next week. I just jumped the gun and sent the e-mail DS3032 a little early. Oh well. I don't know why I'm in a rush...I have some serious waiting to do!

I will def let everyone know if they send out a sniper for sending the e-mail from US soil. :).

Totosan...it says you are supposed to wait for the generated e-mail from NVC some people have sent out their e-mail before receiving the NVC e-mail to save some time. I did it just to be doing something. :).

Indigo...some people say that they will check to see whee exactly it came from. Why they care, idk. As long as it gets filled out and sent to them...since we are all married after all, it's not like we are hacking or doing something illegal by using our spouse's e-mail.

Triaxxx...the time line of me having an October interviee is my own "I don't have anything ready/it won't be any time soon" guide. If the rest of you have everything ready and get your NOA2 tomorrow and get through NVC in 1 month, you could have a September (possibly August depending on when they give you a SIF and CC) interview most likely (depending on the country and how back logged they are).

Senior- I sent it from my husband's e-mail from my computer. I remember being worried about the IP address but I decided to go for it. If it is rejected, I will have him resend it from Peru. I told him to send it but then I decided to do it anyway :P. I got an auto-response. That doesn't mean anything because I have to wait for a response but worse case scenario, they will have him resend it to them.

Hey John! I was about to send out a search party :). As for the case number, I just have a different wait now. I am currently waiting for:

-NVC to send me e-mail with IIN(the invoice number) and AOS bill (maybe a week or less...a.k.a. June 17th...by which time some more of you will hopefully have your NOA2's.)

-My possible AOSer to get their package and tell me no (Some time this week. Then I get to find a new person...YIPPEEEEEEEEEE).

-Husband to clear up issues on his side and send me documents (3 weeks hopefully is all that will take total. a.k.a. July 1st...USCIS should be to mid March by then....please USCIS, PLEASE!)

There. I guess I will mos def be in the NVC July forum (duh, but I will be at the beginning stages with the rest of yas :) ). This also means that I will most likely be in the August NVC forum as well. Which would put me at an October interview. That is all best case scenario mind you.

I keep telling everyone to read it and I have read it but what does it say??!?!?!?!?" I'm sending off the DS3032 by e-mail. Here is the format (the same that they have on VJ)Mine of course has all of my info in it:

Tom, I know that they speak Portuguese in Brazil. I was referring to CaliPhil who had originally asked. Even if his wife speaks English, it is always easier to understand in your native dialog. Apparently, that could be anything in the PI. I learned something new.

There is still tonight and tomorrow to receive good news from USCIS.

I know that another March filer got an NOA2 last night....PixieLulU got an approval...so they aren't completely asleep.

As for the spouses being involved....this is a very complicated process and for some one who isn't doing it hands on, the process is almost impossible to explain. My husband doesn't speak English either, so there goes him logging on to VJ (plus he has no time). As Tom said, you will need your wife to get certain things and send them to you. I told my husband this and he didn't want to do it until I absolutely needed them. Hopefully your wife will be more willing to get these things ahead of time and save you some time in the NVC stage. The USCIS stage is just waiting. I would tell your wife that it will take 6 months and that after that if you haven't heard anything, you will call them and figure out what is going on. Explaining that it could take 3 months and then getting both of your hopes you is no good. The NVC stage is the most important part for your wife's involvement. I would also tell her about the things that will come after NVC, like her medical and the interview. If course, these steps will probably be forgotten by her and will need to be gone over as it gets closer to having all of your NVC things done and time of the actual medical and interview. If at all possible, try and go to the interview with your wife and be there ahead of time so that you both can talk it over. Of course, it is up to you about how much you explain. Since your country has plenty of people on here going through/have been through this process, you could probably ask one of them to explain it to your wife in tagalog.

Hopefully we will hear some more approval notices. I sent out PM's last night to people from Feb and early March to see if they have received their NOA2's and maybe just have not updated us all.

Anyone want me to check their case for them? J/K!!!!! That would make at least 2 compulsive checkers of that status every day....then USCIS might get upset :P. I think they sent me to NVC to make me quit calling regarding the lack of correct names on my NOA1's :P.

Chris&Cecil- yep. I think all of the rest of the Marchers are on "Initial Review" as well. That is where I was before the junk mail that changed my life :).

I guess it is nice to feel useful somewhere.

I'm still waiting on my NVC case number so that gives you all time to come join me. Plus, my husband has yet to get all of his documents to me (at least another 2 weeks for me to receive them) and I'm having I-864 complications (who knows how long that will take)...so....I'm sure that by the time I get all of that figured out...we will still all be in the same NVC group slugging it out with the NVC AVR and the mail people who move slower than we would wish.

That depends. Is the USC filing alone? Using a joint sponsor? Using a joint sponsor who also resides in their household? All of these forms are different and the answer to the above questions will help determine how many and which ones to fill out.

Tena- Thanks! I'm glad that you had a safe trip there and back and had a good time with your family to boot. Hopefully that relieved some tensionfrom waiting for the NOA2. Like John has said, hopefully the early Marchers will hear something soon.

Tom-So....bascially you stalked me? :P. J/k. I go on this site (and still stupidly check my time line and then remember I already have my NOA2...I just feel so bored waiting for the NVC case number) and like to try and "help" people who are new or seem like they'd like some help. Since I have the time (and yes, I do have a life...not much of one but still a life none the less) I figure I should do my part. I'd post the same question too except for I read several different posts (as you noticed *blush*) and figure things out from there instead of posting first. That works better for me. Asfar as helping people out, I am just hoping that I don't turn into a person who feels they know it all and pick on the people who post the same question that has been posted 1000004 times already. This site is for getting help from people...so we might as well help. :). I tried looking at a different Immigration site the other day and couldn't do it because you all are my buds and I don't "know" those people so I ditched that site. Oh, I also have time to be on here now since my husband isn't here. He would probably kill me if I were to be on here as much in the future as I am now. "I know you just got here but there are some people who have questions on VJ!"-Speedy dvorce in the works :P.

rvince- The K3 is basically "dead" anyway so there is no point in filing that along with the I-130, unless you really like to fill out extra papers :).

LADYDARE-Welcome! As you posted, hopefully they will pick up soon. I really thought that they were going to start turning out NOA2's quickly again.

Best of luck to everyone on their inidivual and collective journeys.
