How many pages do you think this forum will get to before all of us get our NOA2's?

Yeah. The NVC one is kind of hard to understand for me. I think that is why it isn't as funny (to me at least). It has seemed to be the case on here that those who have tons of evidence are asked a few questions and sent on their merry way. Those who aren't over prepared are turned away b/c they lacked evidence. Maybe the CO's look at you and see the evidence and think they will approve you just because you look ready.

http://www.visajourn.../page__st__1920 that one is the NVC video and the interview video is:

On those pages, look for posts by "Kevin-N-Merlaine".

Did you guys see the videos in May 2010 interviews made by Kevin? They are funny. I bet they would be funnier if we were actually at those stages but they were still good for a laugh.

I got my NOA1. It just didn't have all of our names on there and therefore will cause problems down the line. If my husband doesn't get the visa and there is no "easy fix"...my daughter and I will be moving to Peru. I know we could do it but it would be much nicer to be up here. I'm not knocking Peru, just that my husband doesn't live in a mansion (neither do I...but you know what I mean) in the awesomest place in Peru.

I know, right? Especially since I called in the moment I got the NOA1 (March 4th) and they typed in my info and put in the request.

The date has never been an issue. They left out names. For example. My name is A... M.... C...... W.... and they put C......, A.... M- that isn't my full name nor my legal full name nor what I had put on the petition. For my husband his name is V...... O... C...... L..... they put C......, V - That isn't his full/legal name nor what I had filled out for him. On the 2nd form they put C...... , A... (no joke...huge space there on the form) for me and for him they put C...... , V...... (looks as if they were going to put the other names but they just didn't.)

If any of that made sense.

Nope. My 1st NOA1 was March 1st. The 2nd NOA1 I recieved was full of mistakes. Looks like someone typed it quickly and sent it off because it just looks weird. My date is still March 1st.

I don't know why I bother to hang out in the May interviewers forum and read their posts. It makes me happy that the majority of them are getting approved but I know their cases are nothing like my case. I honestly can't see the light at the end of the tunnel. I'm not looking for sympathy. Just pondering out loud. Maybe there will be my NOA1 waiting in the mail for me today.

I rather think that my husband will get just in time for the snow and not be here when it is hot outside. Then again, I like to think negatively and be surprised and happy when it works out. :P.

Interesting. Some one started a July interviews group but no one has started a June NVC group yet. Next week is June. Maybe the May NVC people with no SIF are still hoping or fell asleep. Since the interviews get scheduled in the 2nd week of every month and the NVC takes around 1 month. I'm thinking the earliest any one of us would make an iterview would be August.

ak205- this page is the main page when you click on "Immigration Timelines" at the top of the screen.
Approximate Processing Dates for Common Forms: I130 for IR1/CR1 & K3 Visas - March 07, 2010- This is found on the right hand side of the page.

If you only knew what I have to do to get ready. :P. You only know half of it. :). I will get ready...eventually. I'm not complaining about not having an NOA2 yet because I would be up a creek sans paddle right now and how take forever in NVC. No need to hurry up and wait.

I forgot it is the end of May. I read March 2010's prediction of," next 3 weeks " and then read John's of, "Mid June." now that I have reread it, it makes me laugh. Mid June...3 weeks. 6 to 1. :). Anyone have any exciting plans coming up? I know Tom is off. No plans here, just a little working and watching my baby grow up before my very eyes.

Awww! I want someone from my country to be a buddy with me! India and The Philippines usually have buddies to help each other out. I wonder if anyone gets together on the interview day. I know the May filers have met up (the foreign SO's) before they had interviews. They also are planning to meet up in Vegas! Crazy!!!!!

3 months for me would mean June 1st. I'm still waiting on my NOA1. I guess when they said it wait, 10-15, they weren't kidding. :P. I will be giving them a call if I don't receive the NOA1 by May 29th.

I can handle the game being dead. I know we will all rehash the questions we have once we get to the NVC stage. There is no reason that we can't ask questions in this forum though, about our individual issues and where we are. It was more organized the other way...but apparently too boring.

Welcome to the March group Tony.

Due to the very underwhhhhhhhelming response of acceptance. I'm changing the rules to: Only 2 "I approve this message"'s are needed. Therefore....we are moving on to the next step in the NVC process.

TAKE IT AWAY JOHN!!!!! What is the next step?

This is the game Faby:

Start from the beginning of the process. Once a step is agreed to have been covered go to the next Step. The statement should be about something you noticed and almost missed. Then the other can check their packages. Give some time between questions say 1-2 hours. Then the next person post there observation. The questions and thinking need to flow so stay on topic. If someone feels the subject has been beaten to death then call for a vote and if 3 agree, move on to the next step.

Remember if you do this we can not be shy or feel stupid for stating simple observation. All Observation are equal because they will result if RFEs is the information is wrong. If someone can't be a participate because of schedule or access to Internet, that's fine. They can be removed from the list of player but they can still read the post and benefit from this effort when they have access or Join in when the scheduling conflict is passed.

Hey folks I know its not the dating game but for the price of admission (free) what do you want, your money back... lol

I will, as I said earlier, be away for a while but I can pop in from time to time as Internet access becomes available and between activities. I cant do the Player List but I will start off with the first dumb statement/observation or Heads Up what ever we decide to call it.

Here goes You receive Approval Notice from USCIS After all the Yelling and Jumping stops, Scan the document or make a few copies or forward the email to your Significant Other. Where ever he or she may be.

Then take a deep breath "Its Game On" ... This is the time to clear your head and double and triple check your package for completeness. Do this in order of need ( ie DS3032 then I 864, then DS230. Those things that are still not in your possession need to be put on a TO List. Dont do this all at one time give yourself break periods. When your mind gets jammed up take a break then get back at it ...

Well this is more a strategy but that's what each of us need. There is an old saying that goes like this. "Plan your work! Then work your Plan!" You can not be to organized!!!

We just need 2 more approvals to move on to the next step.

I don't want to give you the wrong information Tena, so I would ask that question as a new topic. There are plenty of people who have gone through the same thing who will be able to help you.

Chris&Cecil...can I count you in for our game?

It is 9:02 EST. Let's get moving on. OK...so as Tom said, if we have 3 approvals of a step, we move on. I approve what Tom said in getting organized and calming down a bit before lunging yourself into the NVC process. Does anyone have anything to add to that or do we have 2 more approvals so that we can move on to the next steps?

As for the "Heads up, RFE's down!" game, it doesn't have to be completed in a day. So all of us can take our time and have lives not attached to this website.

Tom started the idea and gave the first step of what we should do after we get the NOA2 (calm down and get organized). Does anyone have anything to add to what he said? If not, we can move to the next step.

For the AOS Tena, if you are bringing all of his kids here, then yes you will be filing just I-864 for them. There is a place to list them (as coming with your husband or within 6 months of him coming here). I don't know what our case is, so if you gave more information maybe we could help you more.

I meant to say just 1 AOS which means that you have to make enough for you + him + his 3 kids = 125% of the poverty level for a household of 5.

That is 5 people. I'm setting a deadline of tomorrow at 9 a.m. EST. Then we will continue from where Tom left off. If someone else wants to join after we have started, go ahead. I'm not trying to exclude anyone, just want to get the "Game" started.

OK Tom. John and I had done some of what you had suggested before. In order to make a player's list, we need a list of people willing to participate. I will volunteer myself to make the list but I need to know ho is willing to play. So....

WHO WANTS TO PLAY THE "HEADS UP, RFE'S DOWN!" GAME?

If you wish to participate, please let me know on here or PM and I will make a list. Tom has made the 1st step. If no one wishes to play however, please let us all know so that we aren't waiting for 15 days :P to figure it out :).

I look forward to responses.

So far Tom, your first step looks great.
