IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	March 2010 CR1 filers	That was a very wildly unsuccessful and long phone call. The customer service agent was nice and tried to help me and then told me she was going to transfer me (I already knew that much)....then after giving my info (which according to the officer was all correct ......DUHHHHHH cuz I called and e-mail to have it corrected TYVM!!!!!) once again to the officer, I was told that they WILL NOT be sending me a new NOA1 but instead I am waiting for an approval notice (no way...REALLY?...thanks...I had no idea.) and the correct information will be on that. What a gigantic load of help that was. Good thing that number is free or I'd be super ticked that I spent money on a useless call. So...John, I hope they give you a corrected NOA1 and don't make you wait 3 months just to tell you they won't be sending anything else and to politely BE QUIETTTTTTTT. . So, now I can jut go back to waiting for my NOA2. Too bad he wasn't able to tell me how my case was doing. I hope he doesn't send in a request to burn the case. I was polite and respectful and didn't use a mean tone while talking to him. *Please don't burn my case Mr. Officer Man* Anyway....c'mon some one with good news for MARCH!!!! IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	March 2010 CR1 filers	I do think that they can and do give out NOA2's without ever touching some cases. Nothing to worry about. The touches also don't always mean anything. Some times it could just be someone picked up your case and moved it to a different pile. No big deal there. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	March 2010 CR1 filers	Kapad- To see the "touches" you have to go to the USCIS website and sign into your account. When you look at "my portfolio" it has your case # then it says "last date updated". The "last date updated" is what VJers call a "touch". If the date has changed from when your NOA1 date is, then you have been "touched". Some people get a lot of "touches" and some people never get a touch between NOA1 and NOA2. I hope that was helpful. If all of us stick together to the end then we well be practically enmeshed in each other's lives. Hopefully we get to travel as a group and not be spread out all over the place. Maybe some background info of our "petite famille" would be nice. You don't have to get personal. I'll start (and might be the only one). I am a USC by birth in the US. No fancy heritage here. I live in Omaha, NE. I am orginally from Oregon. Anything else, you can just ask (or not, as the case may be). Why did they give you 45 days? Hey...the 1st time I reported it, a case worker called me and I got to talk to her. Maybe since it is so much later on, a case worker will call you and this is a good thing. I hope so. This should never happen to any one!!!!
