Parents here...can our 2yrs.old daughter come with her mom when the K1 approve?

Hello Happy New Year to all!!!

I am Dawn from Philippines and engaged to my fiancee and we had a daughter who is 2 years old on January 18,2008.My fiancee(my daughter DAD) has sent the K1 petition last 27th of December 2008.I just want to ask this question: Can our daughter can come with me when the K1 is approve?I hope some of you who are concern to this question can give me an answer.Thanks a lot and God Bless you all.

Hi..Yea ur fiancee need old ID's.When i went to DFA last Feb.05,the processor there asked for my old ID's so luckily i brought it with me together with my SSS ID,POSTAL ID,STUDENT DRIVER'S LICENSE,NBI and my authenticated BC.Did she worked before?If she did and she still have her old employee ID or other ID's that expired already..she can use it to get a passport.Well,i brought my daughter with me that time and go to a lady there who looks like a mother already coz i know she will not give me a hard time on my ID's as she can see that i'm carrying my daughter and i pretend that im very tired and plus i came from Olongapo and travel to Manila so she verified my application form and then she told me to go to auditorium to pay 500pesos and they gaved me my receipt with my scheduled of my passport releasing after 2weeks i applied.They are very strict now coz the passport is new now.They changed the color and the background of the passport pic.

It was a shock because I never got married in 1999. I know the person indicated there. He was my ex-fiancee. I was engaged to him when I was 24 years old but I called it off for a lot of reasons. I remember signing papers but I know it was just a marriage license. Anyway, it was a bad break up. I remember him telling me that nobody can have me because he has connections to city hall and he will submit all the papers I signed and make it appear that we got married. I did not take his threat seriously. Then came the time that I met someone and got married. And then this ex stopped bugging me. The marriage didn't last. We got separated year 2006 and annulled year 2007. Last March 2007, I met someone and he is the reason why I am in K1.

I looked for my ex over the weekend so he could shed some light about this fake paper. He is already somewhere in the US so I can not sue him. My lawyer is filing a petition to declare this marriage null and void in the ground of fraud. Although we have a lot of evidences, it will still take some time for the judge (3 months) to make the decision. My next step was to call our lawyer in the US and again I was devastated with what he told me. He said I have to write to the Embassy Manila to ask to revoke my fiancee petition. Because this "prior marriage" was not diclosed to the petition, I may have an issue with misrepresentation which is a ground for denial or barring me to enter the US. Another issue is bigamy which is a crime in the US- another ground for denying my case. And there's a possibility that they will cancel my tourist visa.

Add to this, I think my relationship with my fiancee is now on the rocks. I can understand his dibelief but Im doing the best I can to explain things to him. I just find it hard to explain because I myself is so confused. Im still in a state of shock. He said something about not really knowing me and suggested to get to know each other first before getting married. If that's the case, why did he ask me to marry him 9 months ago? All this time, he doesn't really know me? How can he tell me he loves me if he doesn't know me? I lived with him for a month in the US. Last November 2007, I visited him and spent two weeks with him. We talk everyday, 3 to 5 times....sometimes for 2 hours. Chat for 4 hours...see each other thru webcam. Also, he finds it weird that I didn't know I was married. All I could answer is, this is Philippines... only in the Philippines where some people learn about the law not because they want to obey it but because they want to know how to break it properly. Im just thinking...if I can not convince my fiancee of my ignorance then surely, the consul won't believe me too. Anyway, Im just so tired now... I give up. This is probably not meant to be. I have no more tears to cry...

I just wanted to know if there's anybody here who's working on CRBA also for their sons/daughters while they are close to having their medical and interview appointment.The USEM recieved our case just yesterday April 22nd and my fiancee called them and they said that I can make an schedule now for interview appointment but Im a lil worried coz we are going to fix our daughter's CRBA this coming month of May.Is it ok to have an interview without my daughter's CRBA/passport done yet???I have to bring my daughter's passport on my medicala nd interview right???And at the same time,my daughter will need a medical too....

Hi,i just want to know why your son need SSN?He still young.Me and my fiancee are doing our daughter's CRBA too.And i dont know about that applying for SSN.

Someone told me here on VJ coz she got her son's CRBA done already.She said my daughter dont need to have medical like the US Embassy told me and my fiancee also and that she dont need to go tho CFO.Only thing is that 2weeks before leaving the PI,I/We need to get exit permit for my daughter/your son at Bureau of Immigration.

Now,Im confuse about the SSN thing for my daughter.Does she really need to have SSN?If so,then I need to tell that to his Daddy coz he has the forms that we ordered and he will fill it up and send it to me together with the supporting documents from him.

other facts of marios' domicile records they want government issued
paperworks like tax transcripts but since of low income he dont have
tax transcripts from thereon, they also like employment record, or
school record of that date (1999-onwards)
another option is to wait a year or 3 to process immigrant status.

no not yet we will be going tomorrow sa USEM kc nung apr4 nka RFE kc kulang ng domicile records after 14th birthday ung daddy nya (additional 2 years evidence at enty at exit clearnace stamp from Bureau of immigration)... eh dumating knina ung ibang evidence try namen kung puede para madala ko sya ? ang alam ko pag USC nde na kailangan ng medical =) ang hirap pa nito ung ibang records nya basa' at sira na because of the hurricane katrina

Another option is to attach the blank DS-157 receipt to one of the two DS-157 forms you have already filled out. As long as you have two forms filled out and the receipt you will be fine.

No, there is no need for you to bring any DS forms when you pay your visa application at BPI. You just go there and tell the teller you will pay visa application fee. The teller will tell you to log your name at their record book while she is processing your payment, after that she will give you the receipt plus the 1 page validated blank DS157. That's all. (I paid in BPI-Olongapo just near M1)

This 1 page blank DS157, you will fill up "handwritten" and will be submitted on the day of your interview at USEM-Manila.
Your DS forms to be prepared:( 2 sets of DS 156 filled up online, 1 filled DS 157 computerized or handwritten and the validated 1 DS 157 from the BPI bank.

Ok,Got it very clear.Thanks Shape.But u 4got to mention DS 156K.Its ok,i hav it anyways.Only BPI beside/next to Centro is the only one where to pay US Visa fee coz i asked the rest BPI banks here in Olongapo and they told me to go to BPI beside CENTRO..and yea thats after M1.Well,I just live around Magsaysay Drive near Columban.

Hi Michael,Im sorry to hear about what happen.Its her lost not yours.All i can say is...It's your decision.You are grown up and you know what you have to do.It's up to you if you want to give her another chance,test her and be more smart this time.If you will give her another chance,you have to test her to prove that she really loves you and if she is sincere and get to know her more better.
If you are meant to be,God will make a way how you and her will get back together.If not then..you have to move on.
You don't need to find the right girl for you.She will come in your life in the right time w/o noticing about it.I believe in destiny.

SLEC experience June 4-5

Here are some insights on my medical appointment experience..
I came from Bataan..I drove going there in the fear of the latest bus hostage taking in Pampanga.
Day 1:
Before going to SLEC I went to St. Jude Church..he is my personal patron saint..He has never failed me

. I got there at SLEC at around 12.30pm, I showed the good guard my passport and appointment letter emailed by USEM. He gave me forms to fill up and a flowchart of what I'll be going to do step by step. Bring your own ballpen you have many papers to sign. Then I showed that forms to the persons in the reception area. I gave them my passport also and 1 2x2 picture. They got a digital photo of me at the room behind the reception area.

Then I went 5th floor to pay P9,387.40.

After that, the real action began. I 1st went to the X-ray section, 3rd floor. I gave the forms and my passport to the reception area. They asked me to sit down and wait for my name to be called. When I was later called, they asked me the FIRST day of my last menstruation..so to those who'll be having their medical exam take note of your LMP (last menstrual period, but take note of the 1st day..that's the important day). I signed 3 forms then was asked to wait again. After for like 30 minutes they called me to get into the xray room. I disrobed and put a clip on my hair because it's so long..so another tip for the ladies bring hair clip. After the xray was taken I went to the 4th floor.

In the 4th floor is the blood extraction area for HIV test and RPR (this is a test for Syphilis). At the reception area, I was given a consent form for HIV test. Once again I was asked to be seated and wait for my name to be called. When it was my turn for the blood extraction I was called at the xray department because I need another xray to be taken. I didnt inhale deeply enough and I was told that I moved during the process so my film was not readable. So another tip..inhale deeply and hold your breath long enough until they tell you to exhale. And try not to move a bit.
I was off again to the blood extraction room..they got like 3 cc of blood for HIV test and RPR for Syphilis. After the blood extraction, I went to the CR located in the same room for the urine sample. The urine sample is for the pregnancy test for women and they say drug test for both men and women. I waited again for the result of the pregnancy test.

Then off to the 5th floor for the physical examination. There BP, heart rate, respiratory rate, weight and height were taken. Eye examination came next. I was asked to read the Snellen's chart. After the vital statistics and eye exam, I was once again asked to be seated and wait to be called. After like million years I was given a number and went to the doctor assigned to examine me. Inside the room, I was asked about my past medical history, family history of diseases, etc. Then the examiner asked me to disrobe again..even socks were taken off. After the physical examination I was sent to the 2nd floor.

In there I was asked about history of chicken pox, I showed my scar. They again asked about my LMP. After the interview I was sent to the 3rd floor to see if i had done everything right and was given a return slip together with my passport. I went out SLEC at 5.30pm.

2nd day
I went to hear a mass at St Jude before going to SLEC.
I came there at SLEC at 2pm (that's my appointment schedule). I showed my return slip to the guard and was asked to go to the Immunization area. I guess everything went fine on the 1st day. After they gathered the lab results and xray, they called me for MMR and Tdap shots. I waited for 3 hours for my name to be called

.

After the shots, I went to the ground floor and wait for my name to be called again. They asked for 2 2x2 pictures with my name written at the back...and was asked to be seated again..

Finally at the releasing booth, a gentleman recapped to me my physical exam and reiterated the shots I received. He gave me my xray flim and immunization record. He asked for my passport and was told that they will be the one to forward the passport and medical result to USEM. I was out SLEC at 6pm.

As you've noticed, 2/3 of your time at SLEC will be spent sitting down..so think of what you'll do aside from praying.

It my seem that was an easy process, but the whole day of day 1..I was so tensed because they asked for a 2nd xray shot..when I was in my seat I was always uttering a prayer that everything will turn out fine. So another thing, bring a reading material and eat before going there. As for me, I didnt have the appetite because of anxiety. But then let God do the rest..He will be with you through it.

The 50 additional fee only if u will pay document verification in Manila instead in your town or ur branch.And u said u will pay later?
Later after ur interview???They said there will be a delay of 1 to 2weeks of issuance of visa if u pay after ur interview.So better na pay na a month prior to the interview.

Outside Metro Manila pala yung additional 50pesos fee.Sorry!

wait for 2 weeks and try calling USEM hotline to check if your documents from NVC arrived @ USEM and i suggest fee document verfications after u set up your appointment @ USEM and after u deposited of the amount text DELBROS... goodluck

Hi...They had my papers already from NVC April 21 pa.And I received the letter already from USEM on April 24.I didnt call yet for Interview Schedule coz I have to submit my daughters papers first for her CRBA to USEM.I just want to know if I can pay Docoment Verification now since the NVC assigned my case number already eventhough I didnt call the call center for scheduling of interview.I mean,I dont have interview schedule yet.

Pre-screener, Filipina in her 30's . she asked for my NBI,BC, MC, and letters gave it all to her but i forgot to dettached the receipt, so she gave it back to me and said in a mean way, you don't have to include the receipt coz you can't reimburse it. i just said okay. she aked me who is my petitioner and i how i met him. when is the first and last visit. she asked for the pictures and gave the one that I pasted in a bond paper and fut in folder. she just gave back the others. and finally she asked for the affidavit of support and 1040 2007,I offered the c0-sposnors affidavit of support and she said actually USEM won't consider Co-sponsor but it depends on the consul.

At the consul.. (nice guy in his 50's ,opposite with the mean pre-screner)
he asked me to raise my right hands and swear. asked me some question like how i met my husband, how old i am and my husband... how many times my husband visited me here. and he said okay. while he was looking at my stuff, i asked him if i need a co-sponsors. he said if u have one , then give it to me. then he stapled it together with the sponsors affidavits. he said this is good enough. just wait for your name to be called outside.

I got pink slip and white slip. I asked them what is the white slip for. and then they said it's for the docs verification and don't worry coz i already paid the delbros.
the question is how many days ,weeks,months will my documents to be verified? anyways, im so glad that im done with interview.

No need to mail those forms. She needs to bring it on the day of her interview. Prior to interview date, have your fiancee pay the visa application fee, she will be given validated DS 157 by BPI where she will make her payment. From that DS157, tell her to fill it handwritten.
