I called DOS this morning and the Operator told me that there is noway to tell if the visa application has been "touched" I asked her then is my Husbands case sitting in a dark hole lonely and scared...she said that all she can see is the embassy is reviewing it... uggh... I think that it is pointless to call and ask the DOS operators anything... Now, if you can't understand stuff from yer prior posts, and what I've written here, please, not only read it twice, but get another human to read this , put paper to pencil, and map out a plan of attack with that other human. You should choose a human that you see, every day or every week - don't rely on any 'internet friend' or 'internet acquaintence' . I phoned the Consulate and was told that Washington was checking some stuff and that the visa is approved it just will take time. Julie Phoned DOS this morning and was reassured everything was fine and in about four to six weeks I will recieve the visa. 42 days and counting. Might as well say Howzit I am gonna be here a while. Waivers (I-601 and I-212) and Administrative Processes (221g)	Has anyone been denied an approved waiver after AP Process	Hello all, I am worried bcz after our I-601 waiver was approved by New Delhi it was sent to Mumbai, where my spouse was interviewd again and bcz of the missing updated I-864 affidavit of support for myself and joint sponsor we had to submit the documents. Now that when we called the Mumbai embassy to get information on our case they are telling us that the file has been sent to New Delhi and is under administrative process. Has anyone been denied waiver after it has been approved once by CIS office? If so, then for what reason? When contacted New Delhi, they informed us that the file is 'under review, and they will let us know of the decision soon" does this mean that they are actually looking at the file or they will review later? I have long hair.. all the way to the end of my spine.. and I was having some issues with dryness.. the water in India didnt like me and sucked all the moisture out of my hair But now.. Waivers (I-601 and I-212) and Administrative Processes (221g)	Is it Monday yet	Some weekends are better than others and it was just to hot to do much so I had all day to think and feel sorry for myself because I know with the holidays coming nothing will be done on my case and the sad thing is after it clears AP for the second time we have to send in all new paper work anything they can do to put up a road block they are so i sent USCIS the tax papers when they reaffirmed my case and I know the Embassy has them but I bet they ask for new ones so I guess I will call the IRS and get the official ones. I guess what scares me the most is the Embassy can hold this case another year and then return it to USCIS for a different reason. Thats alot of BULL. I feel for you Whatznext, I dont know how you are holding yourself together... here I am cracking up over 4 weeks like it has been years or something.. My heart aches at the thought of all the Bull Sh!t that you have gone through just to be with the person ya love. It NOT fair and is really hard for me to blow it off like karmic debt... Hoping for some good news from someone this week...I think I have given up on praying, my faith is wavering on the brink of non existence.... I think I am clincialy depressed.. maybe I should go to the DR... I wonder how many ppl in AP have to take antidepressants.. just me? I have finally accepted this whole process... The last 4 weeks I kept thinking we will get the visa this week <only to not> and now I have a more realistic expectation of getting the visa in like 6+ months.. <sigh> All my friends here on VJ have all been able to bring there spouse home with them after the interview... I guess what doesnt kill us makes us stronger... including our realationships..
