US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	Consulate process for spouse	I filed I-130 in 2005. It was approved but on the form, the attorney put that he was going to adjust here in the US. But come to find out, since he came in illegally, he cannot adjust here, we have to do consulate process. So we filed I-824 Action on an approved petition and put on there the consulate. Unfortunately, he doesn't qualify because he came in without inspection so I had to file I-824 Action on an approved petition. I filed it Feb. 08, I received approval on April 10, 2008. I haven't received anything yet, it's been 98 days and NOTHING. I don't think I have to file the I-129F since we're married here in the US and he lives here and has never left. But if anybody knows, I'd appreciate the info. He hasn't seen his parents and family in 9 years. I'm so ready for the consulate process and thanks to you, we'll be able to prepare ourselves, right.
