Hello VJ'ers! My fiance' just filed last week our I-129F Petition, he sent it via Fedex which doesn't accept P.O.Box receipients. We learned that USCIS (CSC) has a different address if we got to use private couriers. Would this somehow affect the timeline of our petition being opened or touched soon or not? I don't have any idea on how it will go through.

Please share to me if you have any idea or experience about this.

Touched simply means an adjudicator has "touched" your file. Meaning, they've moved it, filed it, looked at it or begun processing on it.
Touches really are meaningless. There have been people approved with no touches whatsoever on their file and then they get their approval notice.

To check to see if your case has been touched you log into the USCIS.gov website, add your case number to your login. When you log in you can see a Last Updated date. If that date changes, then you know the last time your petition was "touched".

Well said....my congratulations on your effort to share this experience regarding the taxi ride, this will serve as a hint to those who will be going to Manila. It also happened to us since I am from Bicol. I would say I am not that too familiar with the places in Manila so when me and my fiance' was on a ride, I noticed the driver was misleading us, but since that was our 2nd time to ride to and from MOA I already knew how much to pay and how long it will take us. The driver kept taking many routes so I pretended I am a Manila girl saying, Manong, bakit nililigaw mo pa kami, huwag na tayo maglokohan. Hindi inaabot ng P100 ang metro tuwing sumasakay ako ng taxi papuntang MOA. ( Sir, why are you trying to mislead us? Let's not make a fool on each other! It doesn't cost us P100 everytime we take a taxi ride going to MOA) He was still trying to be defensive by making some reasons...I said if you want let's go to camp crame and meet Col.___ my uncle. haha! the truth wla na uncle ko dun kasi nagretire na rofl.gif rofl.gif From then, he stopped uttering words and brought us smoothly to MOA. I paid him exactly P100 and he can't complain. That's what he get instead of giving him more for a tip. Bonehead!!! laughing.gif

I found out that the 2 petitions I mailed the I 130 and I 129 were both received at NVC and THEY chose which one for him to go on, this is why I do not have Visa and AOS money to pay them cause they chose this route, and only the $131 visa processing fee, when husband (if all goes good) comes here to Michigan then more paperwork and money but first we are working on him getting here and answering who knows what questions then we will inquire if we have to pay the adjustment of status ($1,010) or something like that, but main thing now is I am nervous ,he is nervous that this moment has come an INTERVIEW DATE at 8am June 4th I cannot believe it, he is on his way to Casablanca to their doctors on Monday to get this medical hurried up and done!
