Now we wait again.  There are no available appointment slots for interviews.   I just paid this morning There was a problem in my printer that i wasn't able to print mrv slip yesterday. Whats one more day? i also wanna pay my visa fees today but the expiration date and current exchange rate are not yet updated in the mrv slip :-(. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	ds-160 family section questions	hi gee777.. i have a sister in texas who got there coz she is a nurse and through a job offer and the other one is she married a us citizen and she petitioned my mom 3 years ago..but they have nothing to do with how i met my fiance coz i met him while i was working abroad.. i hope that they wont question me about that.. do u think i should declare them all on the ds-160 form? thanx oh you know what, my youngest sister is also a nurse there who married a usc while the other one went there through a job offer:-D also, like you, they have nothing to do with me and my fiance's meeting coz i met him through internet. The things that we are going to pay each during this process are the visa application fees($240 each) after i received my manila case number and later, before interview, the medical ($223 and $185 for adults and below 15 yrs respectively). Does this mean that I will put my (Filipino beneficiary) middle name in the Surnames?   And my fiance's (American petitioner) middle name should be in the Give Names? Agree with hank_. Can I do my Medical while having no dates for interview yet? Gee, I'm nervous about putting my receipt date as the priority date, how consistency I can get by doing this? almost everybody does that so lessen your anxiety level mine is indicated in nvc email for their reply to my query about my case number. but ddont worry, priority date can be the receipt date of noa1..yes, you can have your medical even without interview appointment yet. just print the email where your case number is indicated. I am checking it every now and then. I still did not get the 26th caused I am afraid to any collateral afterwards once I get that. I am doing precautions really to every step I am making. May God give me no delays. I have no idea yet when to do my Medical. Basically, I need to get my interview date first. What do you think? Should I do the medical soon while looking for my dates? Well if you really want to have an early interview schedule, you should have your medical anytime now. Just an opinion though. you should consider that this month has more holidays that means slec nd us embassy are closed during those days. Now only available June 26th. I don't want to get this. My Fiance will be here on May and we planned to go back to states together. Is it possible that the closest date will changed? I will keep on monitoring it tonight. Did someone here experienced of getting the closest date? Please let me know. Any, answers will be appreciated. Keep on checking because there may be times that others reschedule their appointments so earlier open slots pop out but very fast to be filled. It really worried us and every time we called they would not give any information. I think because we were both married before, there was additional things to check, I don't know. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Provisional File for package 3 in Bucharest, Romania	Thanks to visajourney I found out that a provisional file can be requested from the embassy before they receive the packet from NVC. I have done just that and now the embassy already has the forms from package 3 and our NVC case is completed as of today. We are hoping to have an interview date within a couple of days, as we were able to expedite the process this way. Thank you everyone for the valuable insight. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Tourist Visa denied while K1 Visa pending	Hi everyone, We attempted for a tourist visa for my fiance to visit while the K1 visa is pending. Well needless to say, he was denied with the reason that we applied for the K1 Visa, duh. I don't think they knew we applied for the fiance visa, but their second question was to find out if we did and of course he said yes. A little disappointed as we were hoping he would have face to face time with the kids. He has talked to them many many times through Skype, but has not met them in person yet. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Wedding venue booked - need visa within 10 weeks of NOA2. Help!	To expedite the arrival of packet 3, you can write to your embassy and request a provisional file to be sent out, while they are waiting for the packet from NVC. I requested it for my fiance and he already has packet 3 while we are still waiting for NVC to complete the packet. Once form DS230 and others listed on the checklist are returned to the embassy, they will be able to schedule the interview as long as the packet from NVC is received as well.
