USCIS Service CentersDid k1 CSC PROCESSING TIME JUST CHANGE?

I could have sworn yesterday csc average for i129f was 6.6 but now it's 7.7??? I haven't been checking at all recently but I think I saw that or am I crazy?
How is it possible when VSC has sped up so fast but csc doesn't move even though they say they r gonna start soon.
Come on :) am I missing something about that?
Also when did it get updated to feb 28 2013? Sorry it's been a while ...when I thought last month it didn't get updated ?

I filed 2 days after you did. Have you contacted your senator or congressman? I've been thinking about contacting mine but have a feeling they will just say "it hasn't been 5.567.5 months yet.

Waivers (I-601 and I-212) and Administrative Processes (221g)k1 Denied after 13 months in AP. File being sent to USCIS for revocation/reaffirmation...... Need feedback please!

Doesn't K-1 expire after 6 months of reaching the Embassy?  I believe it's something similar to that.  As others have said it'll be expired when it gets back to USCIS.

So sorry with all your trouble!  I'd definitely start planning another trip and get married to start the K-3 process.  Best of luck to you, please keep us updated!

If you login more than 15 times in 1 day and check the calendar it blocks you until the next day.

ChinaGuangzhou Interview Dates?

I'm hoping and praying it's just the Consulate move that has slowed down the appointments opening.

Rawlsca, your story sounds very similar to ours when my Fiancee realized that there were no open appointments. Thanks for sharing that.

ChinaGuangzhou Interview Dates?

Sigh.  Thanks Fred for posting that link.  I didn't see that until now.  Seems we're in for a long wait.  Everyone, be sure to keep pressure on the Consulate to open more dates! cray5ol.gif

ChinaGuangzhou Interview Dates?

Thanks.  I'll post what they tell me when I hear back from them probably next week since it's already Saturday in GUZ.

The weather I'm not looking forward to, but at least I'll with my cutie so won't be too bad. :)

ChinaGuangzhou Interview Dates?

My Fiancee has told me that after she's paid the interview fee and set the document return address on ustraveldocs it's saying that no appointment times are available.

Has anyone else had any luck booking a k-1 interview appointment for sometime in July?  I assume the Consulate move has something to do with why no appointment times are available?  Does anyone know when more appointment times will be available?

I've emailed the consulate to ask, but wanted to post on here to see if anyone knows more. :)

ChinaThis is so messed up...

I meant all the DS-15x series forms, as x being a placeholder for all the different forms, so you have the DS-156, DS-157 and DS-156K.

Sorry for the confusion!

ChinaThis is so messed up...

There hasn't been any official announcement on their website from what I can tell except for the USC services.  I'd assume that the offsite mailing address is still valid even after the move.

They must really not want people to know the address to send p3 to.  Glad I still had our p3 to show you. :)

ChinaThis is so messed up...

Sorry, I just edited my post.

Contact them to see what address to send it to, not sure with the move since they haven't announced anything for IV unit.

Here's what my Fiancee received for what it's worth.

ChinaThis is so messed up...

What you got was p3.  That pdf that you linked to is p4 which is what I just helped my Fiancee complete.  P3 only includes photos, passport bio page copy and ds-230 that you have to send back.  p4 includes all of the ds-15x forms which you submit before your interview in person.  If you completed p4 already no worries as you'll need all of those documents too soon enough. smile.png

EDIT:  I just checked the photos of her p3 that my Fiancee sent me via email, and yours is missing the mailing address to send it to.  I suggest contacting the consulate on the immigrant unit contact page and asking them which address to send the p3 to.  Looks like with the move there's some confusion with the address since it's missing.  They've always gotten back to me within 3 business days at the most, usually 2, when I've contacted them.

I'd argue that website is one of the poorest designed sites ever, lol.  Hope you figured it out!

ChinaLooking for help

The QQ groups are great, my Fiancee loves them.

We have the interview on Tuesday, so we're almost done with the State department process.

Word of advice: don't use a lawyer to submit for you.  Do it yourself, with the resources on visajourney I've had every question I've ever needed answered by searching the forums.  Incredible resource on here.  Check candle for love too, google search it.  Not nearly as active as VJ, but it's still a great resource as well.  I never got a RFE by doing it myself.  It's been a ton of work, but so worth it in the end! :D  Feel free to ask questions if searching doesn't help, lots of us are pretty active on here and happy to help.

When I'm back in the states I'm on here almost hourly, lol.

Welcome to the Journey!

ChinaP4 and Unmarried Document Question

Bring P4 to the medical exam, not the interview appointment time email!  Don't make the same mistake I did!

DaveykinsMaleChina2013-08-04 05:48:00
ChinaApproved!

Mine was very similar.  She and I prepared tons of recent proof and they didn't look at any of it.  Just asked similar questions and that's it!  I think they approved ours well in advance with overwhelming extra evidence submitted during initial.

So just a quick review of how the interview went. They only asked a few questions. She did the interview in English & Chinese. The interview took about 30 mins in total.

Questions Asked:

1. What does your finance do for a living?

2. How is the weather in Colorado?

3. How much money does your fiance make?

4. Others I can't remember right off the top of my head. (Will add later)

They didn't look at ANY of our proof of relationship information. We had pictures/chat logs etc. It went really smooth.

Thanks,

Enrique

ChinaApproved!

Congrats!  I hope I have the same news to report on Tuesday afternoon!!!!!!!!

I hear there's a nice French restaurant near the Consulate my lady and I will be at afterwards to celebrate!

ChinaAdministrative Processing Time? Guangzhou China

We and another couple were approved on August 6th.  Still says AP and passport w/ "post" whatever that means for both of us.  I'm sure it has something to do with CGI Stanley's involvement.

We're both calling almost every day.  Not sure what to think at this point.  2 weeks is on Tuesday so hopefully it'll be issued by then.

ChinaScheduling the interview using CGI Stanley

I've decided not to file a complaint with the state department.  It's over and done with for us now, time to move on.

DaveykinsMaleChina2013-07-03 14:56:00
ChinaScheduling the interview using CGI Stanley

I actually called the State Department a while back when I couldn't get interview dates.  They said if I want to make a formal complain I should contact the Office of the Inspector General.  So I did.  I made the complaint to the lady.  But then she was telling me what was gonig to happen with the process and to me, it sounded pretty harsh and scared me a little.  I didn't want a complaint being made to theh embassy in my name, which might piss them off and then effect our chances of getting interviews or even pass the exam.  So the lady said she will hold the complaint for me and if later I wanted to go through with it, she will process the complaint.  Nice lady.

But yes, I am thinking when my fiancee gets to the states, I will call them back and make a complaint.  Though I doubt the embassy really cares, ha

I'm thinking about doing the same thing, and I doubt they care as well.  The system is broke and it's a joke, but nothing will happen if only a couple of people complain so I'm debating about even going through with the complaint.

ChinaScheduling the interview using CGI Stanley

I'm beginning to think if the Consulate even released a few months at a time worth of appointments it wouldn't be enough.  The system is broken and CGI Stanley is at fault.  But, they've got their money already.  Why do they care if it's broken?

I'll be filling a complaint with the state department when this whole process is over and done with.  This is complete ####### that we're expected to jump on the appointment site within an hour of all the appointments for August.  If anyone wishes to join me in this let me know and I'll see about doing a class action style complaint.

August 6th? :)

Just use the same one from p3, that's what I'm doing.  They ask for part 1 which is all that you needed for p3 so should work fine for p4 too.

I think everyone feels your pain, Q&R.  The old system I thought sucked a few weeks ago, but I now realize it's a lifetime better than this new system.

My luck better be on my side Sunday night.

I heard that from another user on this board.  Also from my observations from timelines I'm watching the ones that have gotten an interview date have been updated early morning California time which is afternoon in China.

I was told by a USCIS phone person when I started the process that it's basically worthless but it's the date of your NOA1.

At what time of the day were you able to see appointments on the calendar?

No.  Found out tonight that they release appointment times during afternoon GUZ time though....Of course when I'm sleeping.

DaveykinsMaleChina2013-06-27 22:06:00
ChinaScheduling the interview using CGI Stanley

I got the blocked notice for the first time today.  I'm only checking the site 3-5 times a day!

I checked it again tonight and it's gone, so I'm probably just checking too many times per each session since I checked it on a different PC tonight.

I'm praying they're slowly opening up the interview dates based on when you paid or something like that, and not a mass opening for the thousands waiting.  It seems like this might be the case since some people have gotten August interview dates already but most of us are still waiting.

DaveykinsMaleChina2013-06-26 20:11:00
ChinaScheduling the interview using CGI Stanley

Heard back from GUZ last night about when more interview dates will be released.  They just said to check back later....sigh.

I'm sure there's thousands of people trying to get an interview date at this point.

You have one year from the priority date, right?

ChinaHow long for Visa to be delivered after interview

Both of your interview dates were over a week after mine and your status changed already.  I don't understand the logic behind anything at this at CGIS.  So frustrated right now!!!!!!ranting33va.gif

Darnell, I contacted the Consulate last night through the webform, not holding my breath but worth a shot.  Hopefully as you said someone will see it and do something about it.

I also contacted my friendly Congresswoman's office this morning and gave them all the Gorey details.  I hope that has a better chance of working.
