When my husband sent our papers through DHL the guy working there told my husbabd that the embassy just started sending replies back for those people who sent documents to the embassy in September. So I let my sister contact a MI senator on my behalf. She found my story very touching and said to wait 10 days and if the embassy doesn't reply she will call an expedite on our case. 10 days is up tomorrow so she will contact them and tell them they haven't replied to us and hopefully she requests the expedite like she said she would. What!!! Thats crazyyy! The council woman told us at our interview that as soon as they receive it they will review it but i guess they say that to everyone i had to get a new aos too im sending mine in next week inshallah they get everyones case through before 2014! ???? I don't thinks its a problem because the lady would've told you from the beginning of the appointment but I was wondering how Lon have you been in Yemen and how long did it take for your husband to get an appointment after case complete and is it better if the sponsor goes with the applicant to his appointment? So has your husband gotten an interview i wanna who has had a sponsor out of state and has got approved for a visa? And ive been Yemen exactly 6 months from today and it took five months from case complete to get an interview appointment and i dont even think theyll let the sponsore in it doesnt really do anything in my opinion ive never heard of that. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Interviews in San'a, Yemen	Yea that was my husbands appointment on Nov.20 so we went together and when the council woman called us she spoke to me cuz i speak fluent English and she jus asked when did we get married, how long ive been here, when im planning on leaving, y dont i have any kids yet and then she asked who the sponsor was, then thats when a big boulder was dropped on us that literally killed us.... She said that everything was perfect and up to date and that she wouldve given us a visa pick up slip but....our sponsor had sponsored way too many ppl for his income. She said there were already 7! Me nd my husband were sooooo bummed and durious cuz he had lied (he is a friend of my dad) out she said find a new AOS and send it to the Sanaa Embassy thru DHL and we will review it and give you a call. So its been almost four days now and we fund someone from the family who has never been a sponsor for anyone and all his requirments check out except im scared that they will say no becuz he is in New York and we live in California....so wat do u guys think? So Im new to this website but ive been reading and keeping up with all your posts for months. So my husbands interview is on November 20, and after reading some of yall posts i started getting concerned about something, when it said you should have something tying you back to America the only thing i can think of is my college school records from jus last year because i didnt work and i didnt pay any bills since i lived with my parents while away from my husabnd. So plz help me on that im really nervous and also he never sent me any money so i was finiancially supported by my parents because he doesnt make a lot and he was supporting his father and brothers and sisters yall kno how it is in Yemen so i have no reciepts for like Western Union or Money Gram do u think that will affect our approval or it not really? Also im a natural born U.S. citizen and i jus came bak to Yemen to stay with my husband ive been here for five months. I will update you guys on how our interview goes soon inshallah kair! She got approved on the spot and the guy only asked me 2 questions. The people I seen there for there ViSAS were mostly people that have been waiting for a long time from what I can see. Good luck to everybody!! HI my friends. I send via emil to nvc. FOR CASE UPDATE. BUT I DID NOT get AUTO RESPONES. ANY ONE HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. They no longer do auto response. We apologize we do not have immediate available appointments for Consular Reports of Birth Abroad. However, we have added the name/s of your child/ren to our waiting list. Once we have open appointments, we will contact you. The funny thing I never wrote my daughters name in the emails I sent them. What should I do now? Anybody know a way to get a CRBA appointment? My congressman said that the embassy is not excepting any new cases for the months of March,April and May they are concentracting on the old cases at the embassy they are trying to finish the backlog of cases they have.
