That's how they schedule either at the end or the beginning so hopefully we hear good news at the end of September inshallah I'm asking you! Lol Yah I know I tried to reply to the quote and i guess I took to long to reply in time Just got some wonderful news!!  My fiancé received a call this morning from the Embassy telling him to come in on September 19th at 10am to drop off his passport and receive his visa!!  I could not be more excited!!    However, his current job is preventing him from going to the appointment on that date.... He has to email the Embassy to reschedule the appointment to mid October.  At least we are finally getting somewhere!    I hope and pray for the best for all of you!  I really do think contacting your Congressman makes a world of difference!  At least we know that there is someone at the Embassy working on things, so hopefully those waiting on AP will get called very soon! Her appointment was originally on the 7th but they rescheduled. So I'm pretty sure they're planning to open before the 17th or else they wouldn't have scheduled her an appointment. Inshallah this is true. I called the DOS and they said my case is in AP but it is waiting to be scheduled for another app. Hopefully soon. Hey I think they are closing all of September that's why no one has any app scheduled in September just to make sure everything good. Bc of what happened in sep 11 they want to make sure. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Interviews in San'a, Yemen	when the embassy stated that they had reopened in guessing the yemeni people who work in yemen went back to work but the american people working their were still away since the counslor section was still closed however i wroteon here a few days ago that one of my husbands friend got a call and they reschuduled his appointment to october 5 why would he lie to my husband andtell him that nd also not everyone will get a call but they will try to get to them and another friend of my husband had an app for notrial service and he was told to wait until they open Inshallah we will here from them soon. When the Consular Section reopens, individuals who had appointments during the period of closure will be contacted to reschedule their appointments." This was at the embassy website.
