K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Finally after 48 days NVC #	Geez looks like Im not the only one on a longer wait to get their application to NVC. Our I-129f was accepted May 20th and we're still waiting for it to get to NVC. Both agencies keep saying go to the other. I just opened up a "service request" with USCIS which I doubt would result in anything and currently contacting my senators office which also isn't too hopeful.    Worst experience in my life! - but worth the end result	macpaf	Male	Pakistan	2013-07-07 22:33:00
K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Response to Service Request for i129F application	Hi There, I had my i129F application approved on May 20th, 2013 and have been waiting ever since for NVC to receive it.  USCIS had continuously stated they have sent the application and NVC kept saying.. Nope, dont have it.   Okay, after 2 weeks, I just received a response to my service request from USCIS via a letter. I want to check if anyone has received this because this is very obscure information from them. Can you guys help me with what this states:   "On 06/28/2013 you, or the disignated representative shown below, contacted us about your case. Some of the key information given to us at that time was the following:   Information... such as case numbers etc...     The result of this service request is:   Based on your request we researched the location of your case. Your file has been requested. If you do not receive a notice of action from us within 60 days, please contact us again at the email address or through the NCSC at 800-375-5283"   Has anyone received this? You look like you know what your doing so I probably don't need to say it but keep checking on your application while it transfers from uscis to NVC. They had messed up on our documents and never sent it to NVC. I finally got it cleared with help of my very helpful senator fienstien. Hopefully that means the visa process is complete... and not another step after this...    Keeping my fingers crossed... I just called DOS trying to ask whats going on, the lady said they're still processing it, its in administrative processing right now. I said, AP? I though it was approved... Hi, My fiancee had her interview two weeks ago and after a few questions the CO stated congrats, you've been issued a visa, you will get your passport within 7 - 8 business days. This was on Sept. 9th, and its been 10 business days. All this time, I was checking the NVC site and the status was "Ready", until today. I just went to see it and it says Administrative Processing.    I had though the case was approved, I don't understand why it state AP now. She didn't receive any type of forms or any type g221 or anything after the interview. Can someone help?   Thanks. The fact that we have to contact NVC for written verification really stinks. They take your money imediatelty...lose our paper work then make us contact NVC when their the ones who should be doing the foot work. An internal call to verify by the person handling be case would be much easier instead of us waiting God knows how long for them to respond to a stupid email!!! Who knows when we'll get an NOA 2. Received paperwork stating my documents are lost, and we and have to resubmit everything!!! Also have to get written verification from the NVC(30 business days per there rep) that they haven't received our paperwork. Doesn't make any seeing that we only have received our NOA 1. Apologies for the late response been... consumed with many things. Our process was delayed for several moths because the CSC lost our paperwork. The incompetence on a customer service level on the phone and in person at the San Francisco Immigration office is scary! I wish for speedy processes for all!!!!!! Feb filer still hanging in there...Last friday I called the service center after my third service request and was given two emails addresses! I wish I've found this site before we hired the lawyer. IMHO, it is a waste of money to a hire a lawyer. All our lawyer did was re-type the forms and have us sign them and organize the portfolio which we obviously can do ourselves. Their job is to just assist you with all the paper works, but really, there is still no guarantee. You can find the forms on the Downloads section above or click this: http://www.visajourn...ntent/downloads . Also you can go to http://www.uscis.gov to download updated forms. You guys can actually do it yourselves. Most of the couples here don't have attorneys. Just follow the instructions and I'm pretty sure, you can do it!
