I think it's a great idea, but I was wondering if it might be trouble for them to receive a binder? Thanks They say not to use Binders or any other fancy sort of binding that cannot be quickly disassembled. What I'm doing is using what they suggest which is ACCO Fasteners (they have ones that are built in to brown folders like you see government documents in on TV). I've lived in 7 different houses and apartments over the last five years (one for only 2 months and without a lease) and I listed all of them. I think with this process it's best to be as specific and thorough as possible. For the work at your parent's did you get paid? Did you list this on your taxes? If so then I would say put it on the sheet and maybe add a supplement sheet to explain it's your parent's company that you work for occasionally. Best of luck! I used the program you gave me to turn it into a regular PDF and then used my existing converter program to convert the file into an image file. Ah well this really sucks then, especially since we are now living in the middle of nowhere and the nearest printer is probably all the way out in Navan! I wonder why I was able to fill in all the previous forms without any troubles. If you can print a document to a regular old paper printer than you can create a pdf out of it. A pdf printer is something that will convert any file into a pdf by using a printer driver. It installs it's own printer driver to do this so that when you are in the document and you go to print it, instead of selecting your regular paper printer, there will be an option to print to the pdf printer and voila! a pdf is made! We're still anxiously awaiting our NO1 but in the mean time I figured I'd get the next stage of forms out of the way. For some reason when I open and try to write in the forms I downloaded from the Dublin Consulate site it keeps giving me this error message: Cannot Save Form Information Please Note: You cannot save a completed copy of this form on your computer. If you would like a copy for your records, please fill it in and print it. Is this just a fluke, or do they really not want us saving these forms once we've filled them in? "List all countries you have entered in the last ten years (give the year of each):" How should this question be filled in for someone that was in the USA several times and lived there on a student visa for three years? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Proposed Civil Partnership/ Fiancee visa	The Petitioner (US citizen) just has to prove that they can support the Benefiary, if they cannot it's no big deal as long as you have a co-sponsor with an income above poverty level. We are using my Dad as a Co-Sponsor since the Irish economy is in the tank (so much so that we've had to move in with his mother until the visa goes through). Everything I've read says the average wait time is 5 months but I've noticed quite a few timelines on here that show it took less than that (I'm crossing my fingers we're one of those cases ). Most people on here go through the process without a lawyer which I too was a little scared to do at first since I had so many questions but the people on this site are very helpful so not to worry. (presentation-wise)	They suggest using ACCO Fasteners with the two holes punched at the top of the page (instead three holes on the side), and divider pages where the tabs are at the bottom. You're petition has a bar code and everytime someones touches your petition they swipe the bar code and the 'last updated' date changes. Sadly, they touch your application to count it, move it, or relocate it. It could mean it has been moved to an adjudicators desk, or it could mean your petition was moved from filing cabinet A to filing cabinet B due to a leaky pipe Don't put to much stock behind touches, some people get heaps of spread out touches during their journey, some get approved with no touches Good luck Oh, haha sorry I was totally off then. On the I-129f and the G-325a's I listed our county as the state/province because I forgot Ireland had provinces!(Grr I can't believe my Fiance didn't say anything when I had him look over the forms!) Are we going to get an RFE for this? If they don't notice should I make a note of this mistake on the next set of forms so they don't think I'm providing conflicting information? The medical exam comes after you've sent this in because you'll need the medical results for the interview. For the interview there is a fee as well which I believe you pay when you get there. I pasted between 4 and 6 photos per page onto a Word document and wrote captions with the dates under each photo. We turned in about 25 pictures in all (much more than necessary, I know, but hopefully they won't mind). I was going to print out the photos and put them in an envelope but I figured it would be less bulky and easier for them to go through if they were on paper documents (plus lighter for shipping costs). Here's what we included for proof of having met within the last two years : -Pages from both of our passports showing our passport stamps in Ireland and American (mine with a corresponding boarding pass since I was unable to locate my receipt). -My Irish partner's visa -His American student visa -Two leases with our names listed -Envelopes addressed to us both -Pictures -Receipts for gifts he bought me showing we both had the same address We've only gotten past the first step so far but I'm confident we provided plenty of proof and we also have lots more if they would like. Also from what I've heard (and it makes sense) they are required to read everything you include, so too many unnecessary letters could slow down your application.
