Hi I'm preparing the things I need to send to my Fiancee just to be Sure: (So pls tell me if I lack something or if there's anything wrong..=D) > Pay stubs, Bank Statements, Letter of Employer > Original NOA1 hard copy, RFE copy, NOA2 hard copy > W2 for my taxes > Letter of Intent to Marry > Affidavit of Support (Form I-134) > Additional Evidences of ongoing relationship > Originals of things I sent on my I-129F Form and RFE ..must have forgotten something, what do u guys think? I don't think you need to worry about the NOA's/RFE. I read on another thread that these are already in the file. I also don't know whether I should send a DS230 for my daughter? So so sorry to bombard you with questions. Yes I emailed them with it attached, with all the info I told you earlier. The only thing that goes is the DS230 (read above)lol. No, DS230 should not be sent for your daughter, she is not applying for a visa. Hope this clears it up. Thank you for your help, unfortunately the UK requires all of the above forms in 'packet 3' to be mailed, apparently it differs from different Embassy's. I better get cracking lol. Thanks for the advice on the daughter also, she's getting me confused! I didn't want her to be named on the DS230 and then the embassy wonder how the hell she is getting there since there is no visa. So yes you should list that child and any other children you have. Thank you! DId you just send the DS230? Or did you also send the DS156 x2, DS156K & DS157? He indicated that our case file was sent to the consulate last Friday.... out of AP !!!! Checked DHL this morning, indicates that our package is likely in Guangzhou DHL facility, awaiting diplomatic clearance and delivery to GUZ. We are starting to mobilize our resources and gearing up for the next step in our immigration journey..... Wishing continued good luck for all visa filers...especially October 2011 K-1s !!!!! She has a birth certificate, American passport & social security number and she will be moving with me. Technically she will be moving at the same time as me, but not on the K1, she is a US citizen. It tells you all the stuff you need to get for your interview and it also comes with the DS230 form that you must send back to the embassy to get your interview date. Yes the financial stuff goes with you to the interview, the only thing that you send to the embassy before your interview is the form DS-230 Thank you for clearing that up! We have to stick together and comfort each other. You've been great! BUT again now 15 week days after NOA2 and it is still not at NVC. I'm so ready to pull my hair out! Only a fee for the visa which is currently $350 but if you book your interview on or after April 13th the fee will reduce to $240 I got my police certificate for $40 and I think the medical will be $215 (in Canada). We received our NOA2 a week ago, on 4/2/12. I hope your materials arrive soon! --------------------------------------- 10/5/2011 - I-129F sent to USCIS/Dallas 10/7/2011 - I-129F received at USCIS/Dallas and routed to the California Service Center 10/14/2011 - NOA1 email received 10/16/2011 - NOA1 hard-copy received 10/17/2011 - Check cashed 3/16/2012 - Received RFE 3/19/2012 - Responded to RFE 3/20/2012 - RFE response received at CSC 4/2/2012 - Email notification of approval 4/9/2012 - Received by NVC & Case Number assigned Thank you, this whole process is becoming so frustrating! Could any body let me know what fees are to be paid next up? I understand there is a fee to submit packet 3, then a fee for the visa. This end a fee for a police certificate and medical examination. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	OCTOBER 2011 K1 FILERS!!	Honestly, don't hesitate to call them. My NOA2 was 3/28. They got my file yesterday. CALL THEM!! I know the wait is killing you..lol. Yes the wait really is killing me! We called them two days ago and they did not have it. Will get the fiancé to call again this eve, once he finishes work. So do I ask him to get the case number too if he does find that they have it? What does this do for me? I'm confused from now lol. Well the case# is used to send packet 3 via email before you receive it by mail.This will speed up the process, because sometimes packet 3 takes very long to get to you if it ever does at all. So to answer your question, it does the good after the embassy receive your case. You don't have to do it that way if you don't want to , you can wait on packet 3 in the mail, but most people want it to go as fast it can. Good luck. Oh you are a star. Call them again tomorrow and every day after, we got approved on the 20th and it didn't get there until Friday.Since they go by working days, Tuesday would be the same time as ours took, but it may not get there tomorrow. Just when I thought I would pull my hair out because of hearing nothing, I got an RFE in the mail today. I did not receive a text/email and the status didn't update on the USCIS page. I was not shocked by the RFE. It was something I knew I forgot to add to the packet so I was ready for it when I received it. I will mail it back out tomorrow. It's not the best new ever (that would have an approval) but it does give hope to everyone that they are moving along. Question: Once they receive this (it's a copy of the divorce decree) how long until I should hear something? Sorry to hear about the RFE but at least you know exactly what you need to include. As you said that it hadn't updated online, did you 'touched' date update? As ours still hasn't and we haven't heard anything but my partner forgot to date the petition!!! I still have some patience We have only waited 140 days and still some at CSC have waited a little longer even without an RFE. So I am optimistic.. Kind of looks like CSC is catching up a bit to VSC. After 5 months or so we should contact uscis or maybe a congress member. For now i wait and keep hopes up. Good luck to You! Thank you! I had my NOA2 on January 26th, i sent my packet 3 back last week and had my medical. Maybe you should call VSC? I'm trying not to worry too much right now, as I'm still within the recommended time.
