Hi,

I am working on the I129-F petition for my fiancee. I am wondering how much information I should provide as evidence. I note the recent topic...I am wondering if I should front load, I think that's the term...that means provide a lot of evidence of our relationship, right?

I am just a little curious, in general, of what it takes to bring my love from Argentina...

Thanks!

guides6ly.gif

This is just what i have 'read' in other posts. Its better to send as much evidence as you can in the beginning when submitting your petition. Its better to always have more than not enough. I have read that not enough evidence can cause the examiner to already begin to doubt the validity of the relationship therefore already getting a predetermined no or making it take longer by asking for more evidence. I major front loaded. I sent 122 pictures, chats, emails, phone records, anything I could get my hands on. Train tickets, plane tickets, bus tickets... etc etc... So send what you have and make your case as strong as you can in the beginning!!!! Thats my thought for the day! wink.gif Good luck!!

my fiancees visa was approved throught the embassy today she had her interview finally we got through the long 1-129f process i have a question when they say you can pick your visa up next week for example on tuesday can i make flight arrangements already or do we have to wait for example if she picks it up on tuesday can i book a flight for thursday, does anyone know i rather book tickets earlier because there cheaper thanks i will update my profile shortly

Even though they said she can pick up her visa next week, I think it would be wiser to wait until she has the visa 'in hand' before you purchase tickets.

Looks like USCIS implemented the new website early. Servers went live about an hour ago. If the information is reliable at least you will know what stage your case file is in.

OMG I just logged onto USCIS to check it out, and evidently they need to 'tweek' it some more. Because my page is sooo screwed up. I clickeed on my case status to 'read' whats going on with it and this is what i got.... I took a screen shot of it... HUmmmm... now to figure out how to attach it to this post. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresSudden problem with copy of initial packet
So as Im stillllllllllll printing... I have noticed I have about 5 or so pounds of paperswork now.. all proof. Thinking at this point not to send everything. I have not printed out everything I sent to uscis and have cut back on some emails. I still have proof to include from after I sent the petition. I was previously told to send everything in the event that they dont sent eveything to casa, and in case they need something during interview then my fiance can provide it. Thoughts on not sending everything I originally sent?? As said, already printed about 5 or 6 pounds of paperwork as is...

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresSudden problem with copy of initial packet
I have been busying myslef with making a copy of the initial packet that I had sent to USCIS. Basically, I did not make a copy, but put everything in a folder on cd to reprint when time came to mail it to my fiance. I have just dicovered that I am missing some documents. I have the initial letter of intent to marry, however I did not 'scan' it in showing his signature. So, I guess I have to send him the papers again to have him resign them to he coudl present them at the interview if asked for them. but I have a question about the date. Should I have him sign and date them for the current date. I mean, if he resigned them today, should he sign Sept 18, 2009? Or should he sign what date it was when he filled them out initally. Not sure what to do in this situation

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresDo things go faster when using an Immigration Lawyer?
QUOTE (JennandFuat @ Sep 16 2009, 02:47 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
I recently retained a lawyer for the K1 Process, as we've been through two visitor visa denials, and want to do everything we can to make sure the K1 is not denied. The lawyer said we could most likely get through everything quickly and would take about 3 months.

In everything I have read, it seems like it is taking 5 months or more just to get to the point where the information is sent to the Consulate in the beneficiaries home country. I don't want to think my lawyer is just telling me what I want to hear, but it sure seems like it is going to take a lot longer than we thought.

Did anyone use a lawyer and find things went pretty quickly? I read one post where someone said it seemed to take them longer with the use of a lawyer. I know we could do this on our own, but we really think it's smarter to use a lawyer because of the other visa denials. FYI... reason for denials was not being able to show enough proof of reason to return.

Visitor visa's are hard to obtain, and petitioners frequently receive quite a bit of denials with the reason typically being that there is not sufficient enough information for you to return. The process does not go faster by retaining a lawyer. Typical timeframes for K1 visa is 6-8 months. Your past denials for a visitor visa will not impact your petition for the K1. Unless your case is difficult with alot of red flags, you are just as well off doing the papers yourself and saving the money and not paying a lawyer.

QUOTE (sara535 @ Sep 18 2009, 04:25 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
aah gotcha.
well, the file will pass through NVC on the way to the consulate. Occasionally a file will get held up there so after a couple of weeks you can call and get status - just to make sure its moved on. I think I waited until our NOA2 was like 3 weeks old and then called and was told it had been sent on like the day before.
As for the consulate, sometimes Casa is very responsive and polite and sometimes not. If it were me, I would wait a couple of weeks after you know the case has left NVC and then send them an email to make sure they have the case. WHen I did this 5 years ago they emailed me right back and gave me the interview date but I beleive they have gotten a lot busier since then and I am not sure if they still do that....

Well, prior to receiving you response I had just emailed them inquiring as to if my case has been received. So hopefully I will receive a response back, and hopefully I'll be even luckier to receive a date in it... hummmmmmm thats hopeful isnt it?? lol Meanwhile I guess I will just busy myself in making the copy of the orginal peititon and get it ready to send to my fiance. Still havent figured out how I want to prepare it. lol

thats the standard verbiage for the NOA2.
and yes, unfortunately, it means more waiting. Casablanca will send out a packet to him when they receive the file and schedule his appointment.

just asking, what did you call the service center for? what further info are you looking for at this point?
you can find the email address for the Casa consulate online
Casa
sometimes they will provide the appointment time to you via email, but I would give them a couple of weeks to receive the file and get it into their system first

Well, when I first annouced a week ago that I got my approval via email, I received a response from someone saying, "Congratulations.... did u call them (Emabssy? NSC?)yet?" I replied back that I did not know why I would be calling and didnt know if she knew something that I didnt, but she never responded back. So I thought maybe if I called today, they could give me more info or possible a interview date. So thats why I called, to see from this point who I was supposed to be calling and when an appointment would be scheduled.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresMy NOA2 that I received in the mail..
Today I received my Noa2 in the mail. It states valid from 09/10-2009 to 01/10/2010. So imagine his interview date of course will be before that expiration date. There are no directions to be follows per say in this Noa2. Here'e what it says:

The above petition has been approved, and forwarded to the listed cosulate. Please contact the consulate with any questions about this visa issuance, or if you would now like them to forward the petition to a different consulate. The peitioner can also file Form I-824, Application for Action on an Approved Application or Petition with this office to request that we notify another consulate of the petition approval for the visa processing purposes. This form is not a valid visa and may bot be used in place of a visa.

When the person this petition is for enters the U.S. based on this visa, he or she will be admitted for ninety (90) days in order to marry the petitioner, and based on that marriage file for adjustment of status to permanent resident status on Form I-485. The form to apply for adjustment can be obtained at any local USCIS office or USCIS forms center. Please attach a copy of this notice to the adjustment application when you file it.

If the petitioner and the fiance do not marry within these 90 days, status will expire, and he or she will be in violation of the immigration and nationality act if he or she does not depart. An extension cannnot be granted. It is requested that the petitioner informs his or her local USCIS office if her or she dtermines that the marriage will not take place within the 90 day period. Please attach a copy of this notice to any correspondence about this case.

Ok... I had hopes the NOA2 would have more information. I called the service center today and they said any further questions on this case would have to be directed to the consulate that my fiance with be going through. That being Casablanca. How can I obtain contact information for the Casa consulate, does anyone have that available? Im 'thinking' he will receive his packet of information of forms to obatin will be coming to him in approx 3 weeks. So, I guess there is nothing to do now but wait wait wait wait and wait some more.... whistling.gif Thoughts? Anyone?

get a Magic Jack and talk to him for free on a landline or cell phone. My husband bought one set up an Atlanta phone number on it and then sent it to his family in Morocco. They hooked it up to their computer and now they can call anytime to our house phone or to our cell phones. We can also call them and its just like calling across street or town, its a local number. All he needs is a computer with internet.

Deb

How is it that you can call him for free using a landline or cell phone with magic jack. Magic jack hooks up to your usb port in your computer, and your phone line then plugs into the other end of the magic jack. So you would have to use a landline. Also, you would have to send him a magic jack, and he would have to do the same. So you can only call landline to landline.

Vonage: Witht he Vonage world plan, you are paying for the service $24.99 plus an additional $0.24 - $0.35 per minute. See this link... http://www.vonage.co...minute_rates/#M

Areas of coverage in Morocco....
Morocco 212 $0.25 $0.25
Morocco (Cellular & Premium) 2126-7, 21210-1, 21260-79, 21292 $0.35 $0.35
Morocco - Casablanca 21222 $0.24 $0.24
Morocco - Rabat 21237 $0.24 $0.24

I have not been able to find a free long distance plan with 'any' company calling Morocco, and I have searched endlessly. However, what I do use is a calling card from www.CallingCards.com. You have several cards to choose from depending on where you are calling. I chose the 'African Safara" card to call the Morocco Casablanca region, (he lives in Beni-Mellal and also works in El Jadida) and I pay only .10 a minute and for $20.00 I get 211 minutes. The card is also rechargable, and you can see your account transactions for printing use when supplying them with requested proof.

I have checked with At&T, Verizon, Skype, Vonage, Magic Jack and whatever I could find and none of them had free international calls to Africa 'at all" and/or were expensive in their cost per minute. I would g o with callingcards.com.

Hope this helps! smile.gif

Middle East and North AfricaGetting a case expediated for medical reasons....
I am wondering how difficult it is to get a case bumped for medical reasons. My so broke his hand and it hasnt grown back straight. It went to see another Dr and they re broke it and set it and again it did not heal back straight. He seen another doctor and took xrays and said he would have to have surgery to repair it to make it straight again and to not wait too long, bc the longer you wait the harder it will be to heal. Yesterday, once again it was rebroken by another phsyician. I know it seems a hand is a minor thing, but visually it looks badly crooked and told him once I got him here we would fix it and to not worry with the doctors over there. "Morocco". I was wondering how possible this was to expediate the case. I hate having him wait soo long for this surgery. How would I request this and what would need to be done on my part? Thanks!

I do think some of the ladies do bear SOME responsiblity for ignoring the red flags that led into these relationships.

Amen, sister! I think what always seems to amaze me is the amount of red flags waving in one's face about some of these men and the USCs just ignore them. Talk about turning a blind eye...Holy Chalupa! To me there aren't just red flags, but sirens, alarms and all the bells and whistles. They come on to VJ seeking support and advice, blah, blah, blah. Then they do all the visa stuff and come back saying, "Oh I was scammed". Well, b!tch, (and I say that cuz I'm into tough love) your friends warned you that he was a player...and you got played. Big time! But we still love ya even though you didn't listen to us - 'tis ok. We get it.

I realize that not all Moroccans, Egyptians, Chinese, Nigerians, Philipinos might be scammers, but many are. Face those facts and you'll start out on the right foot. If DOS says that they are high fraud consulates, well, they have proof and they aren't lying about this. They can smell the fraud from a mile away - where did the relationship start? Ohhhh internet chat room - ding. How old is your fiance? 15 year difference - ding. Do you have a job? - No, can't find one - ding. Is your spouse of the same religion as you? No - ahhhhh - you're Muslim and she's Catholic - ding. Is your spouse a divorcee? Yes, with 3 kids - ding. Ding! Ding! Ding! The COs see these things every single day. They try to warn USCs of these issues - put someone into AP, deny a petition, even talk to the petitioner, et cetera, just to get the USC to see what they see. But, noooooo, USCs see it as the evil DOS/USCIS and all they want to do is keep "the love of my life" from the USA. Come on!!!

Now, if you want to go through with it after seeing all your red flags...do it. It's your life. But don't say that you weren't warned and that you had no idea...as that has to be the most flat out lie EVER.

I'll get off my soapbox now.

Lots of love, Staashi

I am going to say upfront that I have hit every ding in your post. Yes we met in an internet chat room, but a bar or singles club is no different. We have a 18 year age difference... neither of us looks our age, he looks older and I look alot younger. With the economy situation nowadays, jobs arent the easiest to find. However, I have a job, albiet not a fantastic one, but I have one. I was christian when I met my fiance, and now I am muslim. I am was also married for many years with a daughter. Now, with these facts, a uscis co may see these as red flags... albiet they are facts, but it does not mean our affection and love for one another is false. My fiance would give his life for me this I know, and I the same. We have been together 1.5 years and everyday we love each other more. Just because there are big giant red flags waving in the air, doesnt mean its not true. The facts have to be weighed on the positive, not the negative. If everything was every weighed on the negative, no one would ever take a chance in life.

That is laughable. There is no way that any imam would make that statement. Islam does not say to kill all non-Muslims. If that were true, and people really believed that, there are enough Muslims in the world that they would have killed off everyone by now. This is nothing more than propaganda. Muslims don't need to spread by the sword. Their fertility rate alone is what is taking over the world laughing.gif Example, my husband's brother is a father to 16 children and still going! laughing.gif

I could be incorrect in this, but I think "shiites' believe this. They believe that killing them is actually more merciful to them than letting them go on with their befiefs. I know someone who told me this that was Shiite. However, a small percent of muslim are Shiite. The majority of muslims, 90% perhaps are Sunni and do not hold this belief. There is alot of misconceptions about Islam and its frustrating.

Breaking of the fast under exceptional conditions

Muslims are permitted to break their fast of Ramadan when there is a danger to their health.

In this situation a Muslim should make up his/her fast later. The missed fast(s) can be made up at any other time of the year, either continuously or intermittently, except on the day of Eid-ul-Fitr and the day of Eid-ul-Adha

http://www.soundvisi...dan/howfast.asp

I'm sure he knows this but please don't tell him to add on days at the end of Ramadan since that would be haram. I actually thought that the first three days of the month after Ramadan were forbidden to fast but I can't find the reference now.

I did not mean fasting on the day of Eid. I meant after Ramadan and the Eid celebration a person can make up the days that they missed.

Hello everyone,

Aziz had his medical exam for his upcoming interview last Friday and passed. However, since last Friday Aziz has been feeling really sick, but with Ramadan and all he cannot do all of the things that I have suggested in terms of keeping liquids in his body and stuff like that. Did any of your spouses complain of feeling really sick after their medical exam? What are some suggestions that you might have because I am not sure what else to recommend to him, especially since he is trying to observe Ramadan.

Cassie

The requirements of fasting during Ramadan are waived if a person is elderly and in need of medication, menstrating, nursing (new mothers breast feeding), and if you are ill, and for small children. So he can eat and take fluids. And if you are ill, and unable to fast, the days that you do eat and take fluid can be made up at the end of Ramadan. Meaning, if he is ill for 3 days, and miss fasting, at the end of Ramadan he would add 3 days to his fasting. But Im sure Im not saying anything that he does not already know. He probably just does not feel he is ill enough to waive his duty of fasting. But bring that up to him and see if he will just add those days he misses and see if he will go for that. Inshallah he will be fine soon and Im sorry your so is feeling ill. I hope he gets better soon!

Hi all! I am looking to connect with anyone who has a similar journey as mine. I filed in August 2009 at the VSC. My fiance is in Morocco, which I understand is a very tough consulate....he had a few friends go through it and make it, one of them barely made it.....I am excited and nervous, but for the moment, trying not to think about it since we still have months and months of waiting ahead of us...some days fly by, but other days, I don't know how I am going to wait so long to be with my baby. Any words of wisdom or comfort would be appreciated! good.gif

Well, me personally, all I can say is sit back and hold on tight! The only thing you can do it wait. About 4 years ago, I lost triplets half way through the pregnancy.... I never thought that I could hurt worse than I did then when that happened. Some might say there is no comparison... but my babies are gone, and I 'know' I cant hold them no matter how I wish it... and my fiance is here now, halfway around the world, and I cant hold him either, but he's here! And everyday we live and breath for each other, and our goal is "just getting through one more day". Being apart from him is the worse thing I have ever felt. Some days are harder than others. You should both try to keep a positive attitude, learn to laugh and roll with it. If you concentrate on the negative being not able to be together now each day will get harder than the past. So all you can do is laugh. I filed in May, and I think I have maybe 1.5 to 2 months before I find out if I received an approval or not. I'm praying sooner. The wait is certainly hard! Letting someone else decide your happiness and your fate is hard! I wish you all the luck and many blessing for you and your fiance in the future!! ((((Hugs!!!))))

you really only need to post about this once. I would again suggest to read the denial thread above in the sticky section. Also I wouldn't say you didn't get a fair interview because you did, you just didn't bring any proof to it due to some really really bad advice you got from someone over the phone. I hope you get this all sorted out but it sounds like you need a better attorney.

I can imagine how I would feel if I was in her place. I wonder if any of you that have responded (on both threads) can imagine being in her place, and in her shoes. Can you possibly think what a visa denial would feel like? I have read both threads and it appears there have been some short comments that to me sound rude with not a hint of compassion. I hope that those in the future that are desperate and need advice get advice and empathy vs. getting an extreme lack of compassion. Maybe the ones responding will need a shoulder to cry on or maybe I will, or others reading.... But I hope we can better support our vj members than this.

Becareful when downloading movies. Last month I visitied a movie website and got over 200 virus's. Last night I was stupid and did it again, going to a different website, and downloaded some virus's again. If you get any message after download a movie stating there is a virus on your computer and to click here to remove the threat, unless it is your own virus program that you have installed on your computer saying that dont click on it. When you clilck it you will surely get it. There is also a virus that resembles your microsoft firewall... microsoft will appear stating you have threatening viru's on your computer, and ur computer will go bananas and tell you to click to remove... but that is not really 'your' microsoft saying that. Its just a dummy. Thats what happened to me last night. But even though I didnt fall for it and still did not click to removie it, I still got a virus, but not as bad as I would have gotten had I clicked. The majority of all movie websites there are virus's you will get. Especially on the most popular movies.

You HAVE NOT IDEA what I have been through in my life and you cant sit around on your throne and say that one person should feel a certain way based on your thoughts on how things SHOULD BE! God created us all differently... and Im sorry if you think my feelings are screwed up on this matter but this is how my heart feels. This is just BS to bash a persons feelings for things like this. At frunerals some ppl cry and show feelings and others do not. Are you going to bash them because they are not displaying their feelings??? Everyone takes life and death in a different way. This whole thing is BS and not responding on it anymore of defending my life, my thoughts and feelings. It was a mistake to share a part of my life of ppl here and should have known better before I did it. But damned if I make the mistake of getting hopefull sometimes that ppl can be human and care whether or not they agree or disagree. You dont have to agree with ppls feelings or thoughts... but you CAN be respectful of them and not bash them. And yes... the cutting coments qualify as that. Im not posting anymore on this... I have to much stress in my life for this #######.

This visa process isn't fun for sure, but comparing it to death in any way is just extreme.

Lose the one thing you love in life, and then compair it and see how it feels. Everyone takes things differently. you cant judge another persons feelings to yours.

If there is ONE thing I am SORRY for at this moment is sharing a part of my life with this thread. I poured out something I NEVER talk about which is my babies. I wont make that mistake again of sharing anything personal.

I know we all go through different levels of emotions throughout the process, but I can't see how that statement is anything but extreme hyperbole.

I guess that statement was pretty much why I starting this thread. I think that was extremely insensitive of my feelings. You dont have a clue what I am going through in my life right now.

I'm sorry to turn the tone of the thread, but I have to say that is outrageous. I know we all go through different levels of emotions throughout the process, but I can't see how that statement is anything but extreme hyperbole.

I hope you have a speedy visa process, but don't forget about the challenges that await you both once he is here.

Ok well let me explain... I was pregnant with triplets,... halfway through my pregnancy I lost them by going into preterm labor. It was hard dealing with that, all I wanted was to hold them and have them in my life, and I did not think I would make it through that stage of my life. The fact is they are 'gone'. I have 'no' hope of holding them or touching them. I can look at the sonograms, old babie items all I want and I will never get that chance to be with them. I just have to accept it that they will not be in my life. However, I have a fiance in my life... he'e halfway around the world. I look at his pictures every day, I remember the times we had together while I was there with him. We talk through a glass everyday on msn but cant touch. I see his arms as he moves aroundw hile we talk and all I want to do it touch his skin again and to feel him touching mine again. He's halfway around the world and everyday I mourn not being with him. He's not with me but its "possible' for us to be together. ANd its also for this process of visa to make it 'not' possible to. Its hard looking at someone everyday and wanting just to touch them. My babies are gone... I dont see them everyday... They are a distant memory now, but still a memory. But my fiance is a constant presence in my life that I CANT be with right now no matter how hard I want to... no matter how hard I scream and cry over it. You cant judge what is hard on a person and what is not. You may think its extreme hyperload, but this is how im feeling. And I dont think its extreme hyperload. No one can judge another pain. My mother is famous for saying my feeling or stupid, or snap out of it, or your feelinga are just ridiculous. No one knows what another persons strengths and weaknesses are and what that person can or can not endure. And I "CANT" endure being without him, or away from him. But I "HAD" to endure to loss of my babies 5 years ago. So if that is extreme hyperload... we I guess you can call it what it you think it is.

This turned out to be a great thread,... Im glad people have put in their input. I was worried I would get slammed for this thread, but it was something that needed to be said, atleast I thought it did. I cant imagine anything harder in life to go through. Some would say death, but I have been through that with triplets dying, and I actually feel this is 100 times worse. I feel guilty for saying that, but thats how Im feeling at this moment, as I am wondering what my future will be. Sometimes I think its easier just to ask people straight out than searching for past threads, and I hate to see people criticised and attacked for doing it.

Thank you for your post. It is a concern to many of us how some of the comments made to serious concerns and questions are treated like a joke to some members, especially those who have finished their immigration journey or who haven't experienced a lot of problems. VJ is meant to be a helpful and supportive community - and for the most part it is. There are a few, however, who seem to have forgotten what it felt like when they first started this process.

I would like to ask those who feel short-tempered or 'smart alecy' when someone asks an obvious question that has been asked many times before, to try to respond in a helpful way, or not respond at all if all you can do is be critical. The question may be old hat to you, but it is new to the poster. Direct them to where they can find out the information they can use in a courteous manner. Being insulting never helped anyone and it honestly doesn't make you look clever.

Sometimes it is easy to forget what we each experienced at the start of our own visa journeys, how overwhelming the process seemed then, how daunting all the paperwork was - and all at the same time as trying to handle a long distance relationship with the frustrations of separation and all of the emotional ups and downs those entail. If we each try to remember what it felt like when we first started our visa journeys and respond from that place of empathy as well as from our current positions of experience, then Visa Journey will continue to be a helpful and supportive place.

Terrific post! Thanks Kathryn and everyone for there thoughts! I agree, vj is a terrific place, for friends, compassion, empathy and help! I would feel completely lost in my process without it! And for all those out there who have provided they're help and support we are all truely grateful!

Well it seems just the last few days especially I have been reading alot of short comments that did not need to be said. One said "...and this post is here why???" Because someone posted it in the wrong spot. If something is in the wrong place... no biggie... it can be fixed..

Im wondering if Im the only one who feels a little disappointed in some of the responses that members have been getting on vj. I have been reading vj on a daily basis and have seen people post they're concerns, and questions and those who have denied visas and are heartbroken. We have some people on vj who have been heere for years, some a matter of days and many not experienced in this website and how to gather information and dont know where to begin. I have seen members reply to vj member threads with short crass remarks that have no sympathy for the poster. Statements like "Do better research... etc etc.. we already talked about this subject"... or ppl making remarks becuse the thread has been started in the wrong forum.... and some members being flat out rude. I really dont understand this. I thought vj was here for us. I thought we as members would be here to help each other get through this trying process. So my feeling is that when one person posts something that has been discussed before... 'so what'... lets discuss it again! wth When a member posts something in the wrong place..... just move it where it belongs. wth We all need to remember how stressful this is. How this affects our whole life. So I think we all need to have more empathy and concern for each other. In short... just wondering of some of our members how noticed this. Dont mean any harm by this post... Im just disappointed in some things on vj and wish we could be more understanding of each other.

What do you think the average wait time is for an interview date? My hope is that he will be here by Christmas.

And was looking at my timeline.... Does everyone get a packet 4 and 5? By reviewing some things, this is my understanding.... next I get papers in the mail which is my NOA2. I gather requested information, and also send a copy of everything I sent to USCIS to my fiance. He will then soon get a packet of requested information along with physicians to see. In the meantime Casa will set up his interview and that can be within 2 months? This is my perception as to what is happening now. Im just trying to understand this... sorry to pester if I am. Its hard to be calm and excited at the same time!

Congratulations! kicking.gif kicking.gif Your approval will go to NVC and from there they will send it to your consulate. The consulate will send info to the beneficiary (packet 3) about what to do next.

Im going to go for it and let my ignorance shine...... star_smile.gif "Why do they call it packet 3 when I never got packet 1 or 2"? I got the NOA1 letter, receipt of petition... and thats the only things I have ever gotten, with this exception of this email of approval today.

Maybe I don't understand what you are asking, but I thought you were approved at the USCIS? If so then I don't think you need to do anything. You should received the NOA2 in the mail within a few days. Anyhow, sorry I couldn't be more help.

I did get approved... but I followed that link above http://www.visajourn...amp;page=k1flow and it showed me a chart. And if you look at no. 9, to the far right it says: *The downloads section for K-1 Visa's has a list of some forms the fiance(e) will need. You can practice with these forms.... so I click on the hyper link for downloads section and it gave me the list of forms needed that the fiance would have to fill out "after' receiving the Noa2. Thats why its soo confusing.. unsure.gif

Middle East and North AfricaQuestion about forms required...
I was looking at a link provided to me and it gave me a list of forms that will/or may be requested for the Noa2. But I have already submitted some of the forms.. I was wondering if the link could either be incorrect or Im just misunderstanding... says to submit the following forms:

I-129F, Petition for Alien Fiance(e) [USCIS Instructions](also used in K3 apps): This form is used to petition to bring your fiancé(e) and that person's children to the United States for marriage to you or to bring your spouse and that person's children (K-3 and K-4 visas, respectively) to the United States to complete processing for permanent resident status (under the LIFE Act and Amendments of 2000); please see section 12 of the Instructions to the form. I already submitted this one with the initial K1 Petition.

G-325A, Biographic Information: To provide biographic information on an alien. You file this form only as instructed on another Immigration application or petition. I already submitted this one also with the K1 Petition

DS-156K, Non-Immigrant Fiance(e) Visa Application: This is only needed (and should be provided) by the US Embassy issuing the Visa.

DS-156, Non-Immigrant Visa Application: Only needed at once you reach the US Embassy handling the Visa. Should also be provided by them.

DS-230, Application for Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration: Only needed by US Embassy handling the Visa. Should be provided by them also.

I-134, Affidavit of Support: To file a promise with the Bureau to support an alien entering the United States and that the alien will not become a public charge. A separate affidavit must be filed by the sponsor for each person.

So I am wondering if I have to send the I-129F and the G-325 again. Thanks!
