Middle East and North Africa	Hump Day	Got the ax yesterday, but found out I wasn't the only one so Finally now I have time to go to the doctor about my back pain that's been bugging me for a year, and I guess I better go before my health insurance runs out....-sigh- Somehow I'm actually in an amazingly good mood...God has a purpose for my life so I'm placing all my faith in Him and I know everything will be okay. It's been so long since I've really made any posts around here! I started delivering daily newspapers between 1:30-5:30AM and sleep all day and I'm not really on the internet much right now. Middle East and North Africa	Hsppy Birthday Sparrow!!!	Thank you so much!!!!! Lots of things have been going crazy since I lost my job...it's why I haven't really been around between crazy hours delivering the newspaper and job hunting...etc. BUT the greatest birthday present I received is that Ramy is physically OK after totaling my car Saturday night. He was driving by himself and slid off the road on some black ice at about 40mph and hit a large boulder. Both of the airbags went off and when he got out of the car he could hear fluids pouring out and hissing and he got away from it and called me (I was home making jewelry). He's still very shaken by it (it was his first major accident ever) but the past few days have still been absolutely wonderful because we just are so glad he's here to enjoy it I'll try to be around more often!!! Middle East and North Africa	The First Week	oh god, the first week was so overwhelming we were 100% exhausted EVERY day! A lot of that had to do with the wedding though because that was a week after he got here. I took 2 full weeks off work and when I got back it was like I needed to take another one! lol Someone took us out for lunch or dinner almost every day. Sometimes it was a planned thing, other times we had visited an old friend and they insisted. He had no problems adjusting to the food, though I wouldn't let him try sushi till after the wedding & honeymoon! (Actually, I tried to get him to eat it at the wedding, but he refused that one.) lol I took him to the local international market and let him pick out a whole bunch of things to buy so that way he would have some things familiar to him. We ended up buying some CDs and snack food and a huge bag of molokhia I also took him to the beach. In November. Just to make it clear to him that the beach in New England is NOTHING like the beaches back home. LOL. He loves to go now--we just went for walking one day this week but he says our sand is dirt, nothing like the REAL SAND of Egypt. lol	deadbird	Female	Egypt	2008-03-14 07:25:00

A lot of my friends offline are pregnant too...actually it seems like I'm the only one who's not (BUT we are NOT trying...not for a while...at least not while we live in my mom's basement!) Middle East and North Africa	Car Insurance	Geico raised mine only about $22 as well. It didn't even go up since the accident, only down because I didn't have to have as much insurance as I did when I had a lien holder on my car...I went from driving a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am to a 1984 Saab 900 so my insurance went from $128/month to $41!
