On both counts there...I can't even imagine a seven hour traffic jam! Yeah it was a stretch of like 8 or 9 miles with no exits and it was 3 lanes of autobahn going down to 1. Craig wanted a fast car because he wanted to see how it is driving without speed limit, but most of the time there were to many cars to go really fast, and then when it was free there was a limit. he also hated the car the rental place gave us, so he was making fun of me driving, since I dont drive much in Germany, and in Cleveland I got the Jeep he bought me the last time I came. I really hope for all of us (or at least a huge amount of us) will get approved in June. Next week snail mail will hit big time, and that stupid 3 on Igors list will grow to a bigger number. I know we have to wait, specially since we applied in the 2nd half of February, and seeing so many people waiting for so long, i just want it to go in order, since I don't like it when someone cuts in line. It's impossible to say if February filers have reached the "halfway" point or not. Approvals could pick up or they could remain at the rediculously slow rate they've shown. If the CSC goies at an average 20 per week clip it would be more than 2.5 months if you follow strictly Igor's list (remember people join all the time and some approvals are for people that did not join until the approval was received). That's why sometimes we go backwards on Igor's list. Igor's list, just like the estimated timelines are just approximations and tools to see how we are progressing, not when our individual cases will be adjudicated. The best advice I can come up with is get busy in planning and organizing. On the January thread we've moved all over the place from decorating, to wedding gowns and wedding planning, to travel, to setting up blogs. This may all seem random but it has a purpose - it keeps us focused on things other than just the sitting and waiting (which can get very depressing). Have faith in your relationship and in your strength and everything will work out just fine! I didnt say a word about halfway point, so dont kill me... I use to study math, and since I'm a kid I have it with numbers, so Im a person who take thinks like that appart, and I don't think that I will hear anything for another 3 month for sure! I think it's against your rights as an American, that they do something like that to you! I really wonder what that special unit is, and if no one can touch it, no one will work on it. Also wonder how many people have to go thru it?!?! Waiting for 2 years already, and have to wait 6-12 more months just to pass that first step of the whole darn journey, that is brutal!
