I will be busy for sure. Preparing the move and stuffs. But as you all know. Even extremely busy we cant get it out of our head. But yes nobody else around us can understand. See, I'm to scared to prepair anything, in case something goes wrong. So I just have everything sitting around in the rooms, waiting to get thrown out or go in one of the two suitcases! I haven't even booked a flight, but check every night if the flights I want to take are still avariable, cuz Craig doesn't want me to book it just yet... ugh, it's been a month since I had everything sent out, can't believe its already September, wanted to be with him so bad this week. (crosses fingers) Tina recieved a letter from the Frankfurt consulate today telling her to go to the embassy page for Germany to get the forms. We are guessing that was packet 3 because of the form numbers she was asked to fill out, though maybe Craig and Julia could confirm what I think with that. We have pretty much had everything together for the check list already so Tina mailed it back today or tomorrow morning. The even Better news is I get to see her tomorrow!! She is coming for 10 days because friends of ours our getting married and we are both in the wedding party. I'm hoping everthing with her flights goes smooth tomorrow. And to anyone that is still waiting hang in there!, I know it's frustrating as hell to watch everyone else move around you. Yap, thats packet 3 in Germany, really boring to tell the truth! Thought something great is coming, and then its a letter with your name, casenumber, birthday and instruction how to visite the website! After waiting over 20 minutes the guy answered. I told him my situation about being over 6 weeks and my case hasn't made it to the NVC. He said he has an idea where my file is, but will have to order it which could take about a week, and then have it mailed to the NVC which he said I should allow 30 days for. Has anyone else heard of this, them having to "order" a file. I asked him what happened and he wasn't very clear on it. Just saying he was ordering it right now and that I should wait. So, in the mean time I am waiting for a call back from the congressmans office. I'll keep updating when I can. how weird ist that? sounds like they put it away, and just wait for the time to pass and you to call. If they had send it (like they state on the NOA2) it would be somewhere else. Maybe I don't hate them so much any more So the curse of the 'last touched on 22 Feb' bunch is dissolving slowly. I had not further touches, just an approval notice. I hope all goes smoothly in London, we might just make that November 29th wedding after all. Congratulations to those heading into the next phase and my fingers are crossed for all those still waiting. Thank you all for being here and adding info and stats - our approval matched VJ estimate almost exactly, and I am deeply grateful for the thread of hope that this gave me in the agonies of waiting. Who knows NOA2 is now on its way to your mail box. I remember when my fiance filed the petition my aunt told me that if every thing will work out that means we are really meant for each other. I hope it won't be the other way around because I love this guy so much. He is my first love and hopefully the last one. I waited 3 years for this opportunity and it sucks that I have to go through this long process just to be with him. Yep, us too (members of the now legendary "last touched on the 22nd February" club - lol!). Like I said before though, there's not a damn thing you can do about it, so why cause yourself any extra grief? Me and 'er indoors are totally philosophical about it - it'll happen when it happens. Trust me, it's the only way to handle this issue without uber-stressing. I know it. I just need to vent and talk about it. Peeps around me doesn't really understand all.
