I am lifting one... wait, 3... no seriously, I hope you get your NOA2 soon. This is getting a bit annoying! The bureaucracy is driving me nuts as well... I'd like to ask for a bit of help. I hope my packet made it to Moscow by now, what would be our next steps? Are we waiting from the Embassy to send something to my SO and myself? What is the process like from here to the interview? I spent 3 days in the mountains with my whole class of 2009 :wink: celebrating the end of school. What a great time we had! Went up to NH, went swimming' in Osseepe Lake, hiked a mountain, lots of fun later in the day, lots of fine alcoholic beverages have been consumed - great fun all around! I got laid off early this year and I now work as a contractor part time at 2 different places, about to get 3rd part time night job. I called NVC center yesterday and the packet left to Moscow 6 days ago. Not sure what the next steps should be and what time frames do we have for these... That said... I honestly do not know for sure... also... you will have more time to get the job and earn a living, which hopefully will help as well. Do a little digging... sorry I couldnt be of more help... After all, I am man and I am useless Thanks Richard! I too want to land a good job obviously, but in the meanwhile I am willing to work 23hrs to make the living so either way we'll make it. It is more about papers and following "rules and regulations". She went to the interview checked her phone at the desk and went up. They called her to the window and asked for her papers. She gave them everything on the list, which did not include evidence of on-going relationship. they took her papers and made her wait for 45 mins. Then called her in again and asked her a few questions. Where did you meet? When did you spend time together? Was he ever married? How old is his daughter? Will you work? Then told her everything was in order and very good. Come back tomorrow at 10 am for passport with visa. It took about 2 hours. They even had the papers from the USCIS, from the approval submittal.
