IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - March 2014	I called NVC to find out if my file was received, they told me to wait 8 more weeks and to call back.  She mentioned after the 8 weeks wait,  will take another 20 days before giving a case #.  Really?     They are working over time and on Saturday to clear the backlog so just try to think positive.It took us 20 business days to be exact to have a case # but since their working overtime now maybe it will be faster for you to get a case number	Irra	Not Telling	Philippines	2014-03-13 22:26:00

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - March 2014	Got email from NVC today asking for IV package.My husband called NVC just to double check and the rep. confirmed that they have the IV package and it's under review at the moment.I sent the IV package soon after i sent the AOS,using the AOS cover sheet even before my IV was invoiced.The email i received today was just a form email for it was the next logical step in the process.Since they already received my IV package a week ago so I'm good to go and the email i got today i basically have to disregard.AOS went through and IV is under review! IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - March 2014	I am hoping for a may interview as well -   our consulate is canada and they seem to book interviews 4-6 weeks after case complete.  Then its time for my canadian to put in notice at work (after visa in hand, of course!) and roadtripping across the US. Which is gonna be really fun.  Gonna visit friends all across the states - most of them have not met my husband, so it will be fun for them to meet   Our timeline is similar so I'll keep an aye on you I'm hoping for case complete first week of April. We are moving closer to the finish line!!!   Thank you! I also see you have completed d260, I do not see that available for me anywhere?       Great! we can track each others case and exchange updates about the DS-260 it's still not available yet for me to fill up,we called the NVC and the rep. said the DS-260 will become available if the IV shows paid. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - March 2014	have the same reaction here   can you really do that? even if the wording are not appropriate for an IV cover sheet? coz it has this first paragraph saying "The next step in the immigration process is for the Petitioner to submit an Affidavit of Support. A link to the instructions has been provided for you on the Receipt Page. You can also find the instructions on the NVC website at www.ImmigrantVisas.state.gov"   NVC rep. said the bar coded cover sheet from the payment portal is what you need to send with any documents or any correspondents with NVC.She said the cover sheet is basically same as the AOS. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - March 2014	really?! you can use the barcoded sheet of AOS for you IV package? you got me confused there, i read the cover sheets it has different wordings tho but i guess that isn't important. ours still onhand, NVC hasnt cashed out in husbands accoutn also so were still waiting.    Well,we sent the IV packet already and we also ask the rep. from NVC if it's okay that we sent the IV packet using the AOS barcoded cover sheet and she said "perfect! you're moving right along". IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - March 2014	Called NVC today and my IV was invoiced 02/28/14.Without knowing that NVC will invoice my IV today my husband sent the IV package documents using the bar coded cover sheet from payment portal,which is the same bar coded cover sheet that we used for AOS package,ahead of time to cut down on wait time.NVC rep. said "perfect! you're moving right along" the bar coded cover sheet from the payment portal is what you need to send with any documents or any correspondents with NVC.The IV package documents are listed on saylin's post 1 & 2 of this monthly thread,i just hope that NVC during the review process will not require anymore additonal documents.Now it's a waiting game and I'm hoping for a positive outcome so i could be with my honeybunny	Irra	Not Telling	Philippines	2014-02-28 22:06:00
