K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Just sent in my I-129F!!	Good luck! We sent our's June 19 and just received our NOA1 on July 8 after it was forwarded to California. The question is...do you get to vacation in Jamaica for the time being?? LOL Man...my fiance is from England...same weather as Washington....no sunny break for me. lol I sure plan to!!! Although, I don't really consider it a vacation anymore when there's no hot water, no air conditioning, and my toilet/shower is outside of the main house!!! Vacation---NO, visiting the man of my dreams---YES!!! BTW, I have a question: My fiance nor I signed my explanation of how we met...I just typed it up...is that going to be a problem?? My fiance and I have been together for 1 1/2 years, and we recently began the K-1 process in July and waiting for an interview date is killing me! You truly are one of God's children who has been blessed with patience, peace, and understanding. I am so glad your perserverance and faith have paid off. May you enjoy your life together in NC. I have a friend who has been dating a man on and off for well over a year...he actually has a 10 year visitors visa so he has had the opportunity to come over to the states (which he has done in the past) whenever he wants...well, about 2 weeks ago he came over and is staying with her until December...they've been getting alot closer and I guess the discussion of marriage has come up...he told her that because he has a visitor's visa, they can just get married here in the States, and file that paperwork while he is here living in the states, as opposed to going the K-1 route and then getting married...my question is that even if they DID get married while he was over here--I thought that he would have to return to his country until the K-3 or CR-1 (I'm not sure which it is) is done and then come back over? My fiance called me last night and told me that she called at the USCIS CUSTOMER SERVICE and there operator replied with reference to our case number that we have been approved but on ONLINE STATUS IT SHOWS STILL Application Type: I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) Current Status: On July 18, 2006, the document we made based on the approval or registration of this case was mailed directly to the person to whom issued. The OPERATOR told if u dont get letter until 18 AUGUST contact us so what it means is that if the information provided by the USCIS operator is true and had credibility i hope the information they give to the petitioner is true and dont make false statement And what, if I may ask, would the operator gain by lying and making false statements to you? But they say it is a visa fraud, coz i will go to usa, as tourist ( so no visa) knowing i will get married with a US citizen later 1st of all, you have never been together. 2nd of all, you want to meet her, find out if you are really meant to be together, then marry her. 3rd of all, you want to marry her, before having met. (?) 4th of all, you will come as a tourist, but have all intentions to marry beforehand. Have you ever considered having her move to France instead? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Finally after Two and a Half Years	After two and a half years of frustration, anxiety, aggravation and stressful "waiting" for my K1 visa to be approved, finally on September 12, 2006, five working days after I submitted again my NBI clearance and medical report from St. Luke's, the Del Bros' courier man was on my door knocking to deliver the best news ever, MY APPROVED VISA. What a great, amazing and wonderful feeling it was! After all those years, that long wait didn't matter anymore now that I am happy and enjoying my time with my Sweet and Loving Mahal in our wonderful and cozy home here in North Carolina. A warm and heartfelt thanks to all who have helped, consoled, morally supported and enlightened me one way or the other during the difficult times of waiting. Special mention to SOMEONE up above and to the kind people like Agent 005, Mr. Ellis, PatientlyWaiting, Shonjaved and many more. Thank you very, very much my friends. GOD bless you all.
