My fiancee pass interview and got just a pink slip. I am not sure if we are waiting on document verification. Would they have given her another slip indicating that we still wait for DV? We are unsure of our status. Me fiancee gave the CO NSO birth and CENOMAR..original copies. Why would they take those and then get again from NSO..

Anyone?

Who do i talk to at NSO and what is the phone number? I called NSO and they would not answer my questions. I also called Delbros but dont have a contact number as Delbros.

Can someone help me with names, contact numbers at NSO and Delbros. Larraine at USEM said on 15 Aug Doc request made. But i have no confirmation from Delbros, NSO that this has occured.

Anyone help?

When I got the NOA2 there is no case number yet...There is no MNL yet... its usual right?

Your NOA1 and NOA2 should have your Service Center's case number (CSCxxxxxxxxxx) but not the the Manila case number.

Your Manila case number should have been written in the appointment letter that was sent to you by the US Embassy. It should start with MNL2008xxxxxx. Have you received any letter at all from the embassy?

It will vary from state to state. If the state subscribes to the Real ID Act, the Driver's License/ID Card will be issued for the term of the document authorizing the alien to legally stay in the US. In your case, the EAD will be required, and the state ID will expire when the EAD expires. When you receive your conditional green card, then you can renew the state ID to expire when the green card expires, etc. California, and most states will copy the documents you provide them and submit them to the state legal department for verification with the DHS/USCIS. The verification can take up to two months. In the meantime, you may be issued a "non-verified" temporary Driver's License/ID Card.

I think i understand. The examiner or DMV employee, i believe, was confused as his written instructions called out a NOA with no end date. I am not sure what to do now. I believe that the EAD, once received, will be the ticket. She has studied the DMV book, i just want to get her driving so that then her EAD arrived, we are ready to look for employment.

having problems understanding the drivers license requirements. she arrived in september, married in december, went to get DL today, Feb 2.

North Carolina DMV....they are not sure that they can give her one. huh.gif .....so they copied all her documents and sent them to the mother ship in Raleigh, NC.

ANYONE know what's needed to get the drivers permit, or temp permit to drive?

One more governmental stall.

Our AOS paperwork sent about one week ago, so that is done as well..

Hello everyone? Just need to ask those who had already submitted their ds230 and those who are done with the process.... do we need to send both police clearance and NBI clearance? I was reading through the documents required to go with the DS230 and it says police clearance from all the municipality where the benifciary had lived since age 16 but I'm also reading some posts that both NBI and police clearance were submitted. Does NVC require both or a Police Clearance will be sufficient? helpsmilie.gif Thanks!

I read somewhere in the NVC website that only the applicant (beneficiary) needs the CENOMAR during the interview. My husband inquired at NSO regarding this. He was told that if he gets one now, after being married, the name of the spouse ( my name) will appear on the certificate. This is the difference from the certificate he took before we got married and the certificate that he will get now.

You'l have to file a I-751 [remove conditions] to change from a CR-1 [conditional resident] to a permanent resident within 90 days before the expiration of the 2 year GC you'll get in the mail shortly after arriving in the US!!
If approved you'll get qa 10 year GC then!!

Short break and away you go again!
Oh my goodness! But is this process gonna have a shorter waiting period? like, we file a I-751 and the required documents( I guess) and wait for approval?
